11-13-2025 update: County Beach Restoration Project to start sometime within the next 7 days, during which the County will be adding sand and re-grading.
11-6-2025 update: Sunset Vistas association is currently painting the buildings exterior, and grinding walkways. There will be workmen on site and scaffolding erected, and it will likely be noisy during the daytime. For this 6th floor South building, work will be completed, provided the vendor stays on schedule, by the 13th of November 2025.

PENTHOUSE UNIT! Gulf and Beach View, Top Floor, 2/2 on Beach, sleeps 6! Sunset Vistas is a beautiful beachfront resort in Treasure Island that features many guest amenities to make your vacation a very special time! This 2 bedroom 2 bath Beachfront condo sleeps 6, and has a beautiful view of the Gulf of Mexico and beach from inside the unit. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils for cooking and preparing your food. There is a washer and dryer in the unit. The master bedroom has a King Bed with bathroom ensuite, the guest room has a Queen Bed, with the second bath off of the living area. The living room has a Queen sized pull out sofa bed for the 5th and 6th guest (surcharges apply on 5th and 6th guest). Sunset Vistas amenities include an adult pool and a kiddie pool, 2 hot tubs, an onsite Cafe, a pool/beach Bar, an onsite gym, an office workstation, and a ping pong table, but, of course, the best part is that you will be staying directly on Treasure Island Beach, named one of the nicest Beaches in the World! The main pool is geo-thermal heated. Johns Pass Village & Boardwalk is a mile away, and Splash Harbour Water Park is a 9 mile drive.

Guests enjoy a host of resort amenities, such as a large private resort pool, whirlpool spas, and a children's pool. You'll have access to the fitness center, the tropical courtyard, and one (1) reserved parking place (parking pass to be put on dashboard). Parking is covered and located entirely under building cover. Sorry, we cannot help with parking for any additional vehicles, however, check with the front desk, and they may possibly issue a parking pass for an additional car, however this is not guaranteed.

Toiletries/Essentials - The items below are meant to serve as a START-UP to your stay.

To help you settle in comfortably, we will provide the following essentials:
Two rolls of toilet paper per bathroom
One roll of paper towels
Hand soap at each sink
Dish soap
A few trash bags for each trash can
A few laundry sheets
Dish detergent and sponge
Ground coffee or coffee pods
Dish towel(s)
In addition, we will provide one full set of bath towels and one beach towel per person, based on the number of guests the home or condo accommodates.

Please note: We do not provide extra supplies during your stay, regardless of its duration. Some of the main items that we DO NOT provide are shampoo, body wash, conditioner, tissues, oils, spices (salt, pepper, etc.), coffee filters, cream or sugar, tin foil.

IMPORTANT: IF YOU BOOK THIS UNIT, YET ARE HAVING ANOTHER PARTY MAKE PAYMENT, YOU WILL NEED TO ADD THE EMAIL ADDRESS OF THE PAYER ONTO THE BOOKING, AND THE PAYER WILL NEED TO E-SIGN OUR RENTAL AGREEMENT. ONLY THE PERSON WHO PAYS IS AUTHORIZED TO E-SIGN THE RENTAL AGREEMENT.

Age minimum: One guest must be at least 25 years old. Under the ADA and Florida law, owners of public accommodations are not required to allow emotional support animals, only documented service animals. Rates on OPEN DATES are often subject to change.

TRAVEL INSURANCE IS RECOMMENDED. THERE IS A NO REFUND/CANCELLATION POLICY WITHIN 60 DAYS OF CHECK-IN. THIS INCLUDES NO REFUNDS DUE TO HEALTH CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND, WEATHER CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND, WATER CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND INCLUDING COLD WATER OR RED TIDE, OR TRANSPORTATION OR ROAD CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND INCLUDING FLIGHT CANCELLATIONS. A CHANGE IN YOUR BOOKING DATE MAY NOT BE POSSIBLE OR ALLOWED, HOWEVER, SHOULD A DATE CHANGE BE ALLOWED BY THE OWNER, BOOKING DATE CHANGES WILL BE SUBJECT TO A $50 CHARGE FOR EACH DATE CHANGE. Should a booking date change be allowed, the difference in rates, if lower, will not be refunded, and if higher, will be charged. AGAIN, due to the no refund policy, travel insurance is highly recommended, especially if your stay will fall around Florida's Hurricane season, which falls annually around June 1 through Nov. 30. Check in is any time after 4PM. We cannot guarantee pools will be warm during cold weather months and will not give discounts or refunds should a guest experience cold pool water temperatures.

Please understand what can come with the potential aftermath of a Hurricane. There may be closures of the following, that could possibly last weeks, if not longer: restaurants/shops, roads, certain amenities offered, beaches, Wi-Fi/cable, pools, elevators, etc. Our owners will stand behind their no refund cancellation policy for any of these inconveniences and will not be making anyone the exception. Again, this is why we HIGHLY recommend purchasing good travel insurance. There should be a few policies offered towards the end of your booking process. One of which should allow you to cancel for any reason (CFAR). However, it is important for you, to do your proper research in confirming what exclusions, if any, exist for that particular policy. If none are offered to you, you can always contact another 3rd party travel insurance company. Date changes, rain checks, or compensation will also not be options under these circumstances! Hurricane season, again, falls between June 1st and November 30th.

EARLY CHECK-IN: Because we have a high amount of same day turn overs, we kindly ask that you PLEASE refrain from asking for an early check in. Check-in is at 4PM Eastern or any time thereafter. Should the unit be available for early check-in, it will be offered to you on the morning of your arrival for a $50 early check-in fee. Thank you for understanding!

We require the payer of the booking to sign our rental agreement, which insures the guest instructions will auto-send at 3PM on the day of arrival.

MAIL: SORRY, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO GET YOUR MAIL DELIVERED, AS THIS IS A VACATION RENTAL. SHOULD YOU NEED YOUR MAIL DELIVERED DURING YOUR STAY, WE RECOMMEND PURCHASING A P.O. BOX LOCALLY.

Garage clearance is 6ft 8inches. If you have a vehicle that is taller than that 6'8'', you will need to try to find an open "guest parking" spot which are super limited. Sorry to say that we cannot help you with parking if your vehicle cannot clear 6'8''.

On your check-out day, please move your vehicle from the assigned parking spot, as the cleaner will need the spot.

There is a County Beach nourishment project to include placing additional sand on the beaches of Sand Key (Clearwater Beach to Belleair Beach and Indian Rocks Beach to North Redington Beach), Treasure Island and Upham Beach, however they do this in small stages, thus, beach use will be available on either side of the beach area that they are working on.

There’s not accommodations for 6 people. Maybe to sleep. 3 spaces for people in the living room, only 2 chairs on the balcony and 4 chairs at the table. We couldn’t see the sunset from our room. The king bed itself is too big and a knee bumping obstacle. No drawers for clothes in the bedroom except 2 nightstand drawers( only one nightstand) The lights flickered. Not sure if the bulbs were bad or the electrical connections were faulty. The kitchen is not supplied very well. A ton of plates and few bowls. No selection of baking dishes or storage containers. And a lot of tiny coffee cups- only one a decent size. And no directions for the thermostat. The first three days we couldn’t get the unit cooler than 76-81 degrees. We thought they must have it on control. I finally contacted the manager to ask her to cool it off and we figured out it wasn’t working. She sent a repairman to our rescue. The gate leading to the beach walkway is dangerous. It’s a lawsuit waiting to happen. The concrete is uneven, slippery and a challenge.

it was just okay

The unit felt like a cheap hotel, not a beach-vacation spot. By this I mean the furniture, lack of decor, minimal kitchen supplies, mushy mattress, cheap toilet paper. The bathroom soaps....really?? My husband thought they were breath mints (they were so tiny). We were only there for 3 nights so we "made due" with what was there. A few beachy additions to the units would help!On the good news side, we enjoyed sitting on the balcony and appreciated the ocean view (even though there was a lot of traffic noise even on the top floor). The beach, sand, water and sunsets were LOVELY. Thank you for the use of the beach chairs and towels. We wish there had been an outdoor hose or shower area to clean off so we could minimize the sand we brought back from the beach. We tried to sweep up as much as we could. The pool bar was out of order when we were there. We liked the cute cafe on site, but did not have an opportunity to dine there.I think VRBO users could find a better place for similar money.

Spring Traing Getaway

My family and I had a wonderful stay in Treasure Island at Sunset Vistas Resort. The condo was beautiful with a fabulous view. The furniture including beds were all very comfortable and the condo was exceptionally clean. A five star review! We hope to be back next year!

By far the best place we have stayed in the St. Pete area! The condo had literally everything we needed which was so helpful when we were flying in and couldn’t pack much. The location was perfect. Having our own parking spot right near the elevators and room was an ultimate plus! Beach access and a cute bar were right at the end of the parking garage. This place couldn’t be anymore convenient and perfect! We will definitely be back!

Great Condo and Location!

Unit very nice and clean. Provided beach towels and chairs along with Keurig coffee maker with some K-cups which was so nice. Full stock of dishes and pots and pans, basically everything you need. Loved the cold water and ice dispenser from front of refrigerator and assume the water filter is changed regularly. Great view of ocean and pool and the beach not so far away as other locations on the island. Towels in abundance. My only issue is that the mattress in the master bedroom was unusually soft and mushy that I had to check to see if it was a water bed (it wasn’t). My husband sleeps on his side and it he was okay with it. I slept in the 2nd bedroom that had a ‘normal’ mattress so all was good. Another reviewer mentioned that but I didn’t let that discourage me. I would stay again but hoping new mattress before I return!

Great Condo--had everything we were looking for!

It covered all the bases--view of beautiful beach and sunset, pool, hot tub, beach so close! Suggestions for host would be to maybe provide at least 2 garbage bags and 2 more chairs for balcony. We appreciated having the beach chairs but they are hard to sit on the the balcony. Definitely can see us visiting again! Thank you!

Wonderful

We had a great time. Condo was spotless. The view was perfect. Had all the appliances we needed. The king size bed was comfortable, the full size one a little hard for my taste. I can’t wait to book here again!

Wonderful stay

We’ve stayed at the Vistas before but not in this unit. Everything is so convenient, pool, bar and beach right there! Everything was clean and bed extremely comfortable and the supply of beach chairs and towels were very much appreciated. The only negative, and certainly not a deal breaker, would be that the oversized bed frame in the master was quite an obstacle navigating in and out of the room. We acquired quite a few bruises from bumping into it! We’d love to stay again sometime!
