Les points faibles : Propreté et exactitude de l’annonce
The downstairs bathroom cabinet was Infested with rodent urine and feces. Even in the towels that were provided. It was very off putting to say the least. The entire home is quite dirty actually. The ceiling fan blades have 1/4" of dust on them. The bathroom light fixtures are filthy. This home has not been cleaned well for a long time. In addition to that, the beds are very uncomfortable. One of the bed sheets had a blood stain on it. We were not happy at all with the house. The only positive is the yard and view.

The view was incredible with a fenced yard for the pups. Some minor issues, remote not working, no toaster like listed but nothing major. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Sorry about the remote and the missing toaster — we’ll get those taken care of so future guests aren’t inconvenienced. Beautiful communication and easy check in/check out. The location is the best! However, the house was not very clean and the furniture is outdated and run down. It would have been reasonable at a lower price but for what we paid, we should have been able to get a decent night's sleep. We also couldn't use the deck that is included in the description but that was communicated before check in. We did LOVE the beach access but be careful on the stairs, they are also in mid condition.

Thank you for calling out our responsive communication, the smooth arrival/departure process, and the easy access to the beach and nearby amenities. I'm sorry the home did not meet expectations for cleanliness or the condition of furnishings and stairs — that is disappointing to hear. but we sincerely appreciate the feedback. We will speak to housekeeping about scheduling a deep clean and we will also schedule a thorough audit for each of the furniture pieces. We will make a plan for upgrades from there. Thank you so much for taking the time to share your thoughts with us.

Great location and layout. Clean, and perfect for a family weekend. Check-in (4pm)and checkout time (10am) are too late and too early when organizing a large family. Otherwise! It would get a 5 star for us.

Thank you for the review and for choosing Meredith Lodging. We're glad the location, layout, and cleanliness were highlights of your family weekend. We appreciate the feedback about the 4:00 PM check‑in and 10:00 AM check‑out — those times help allow for thorough cleaning between stays, but we understand large-group logistics can make them challenging. When possible we do accommodate early check‑ins or late check‑outs upon request. If there’s anything else we could have done to earn five stars, we’d really appreciate your feedback. We hope to welcome you back soon.

Good location and has a great view of the ocean. Unfortunately the deck was unsafe to be on. The boards were loose when walking on them. Only the side deck was updated, which was not the ideal spot to enjoy the view. The cable railing was loose in some spots. The bedroom blinds were broken, missing slates, and bent up. The ceiling fans and the return vent hadn’t been cleaned in months. They were covered in dust.

Thank you for the review and for pointing out the convenient location and ocean view as highlights of your stay. I'm sorry the condition of several items fell short. Our maintenance team will inspect the decking for any unstable sections and will immediately block those off until a contractor can repair them. We'll replace the damaged bedroom blinds and have arranged a professional deep clean to clear dust from ceiling fans and the return vent. We will also be tightening supervision of our inspectors given that these items should have been reported before you arrived. You should not have needed to worry about them during your stay and I'm truly sorry you did. We will use your feedback to make meaningful improvements.

There were a few lights out and no pictures on walls so it echoed a lot but besides that great for the money stairs down to beach are a bitRough so if u have knee or hip issues and want beach access from the house might not be for u but for those who don’t mind a great view huge yard and access for able body people it’s perfect

We had 9 ladies for a girls weekend of paddle boarding and hiking. This house was perfect for beautiful beach views. The stairs were a beautiful entrance to the beach, after a day full of hiking they were harder so walk up and down but not bad. We all said we would stay here again.

Location location location!

1) beautiful view & good location 2) aggressive/numerous flies, bring your fly swatter or bug zapper 3) mattresses were universally suboptimal, many sore backs in our 4 couple crew 4) could use some updates, including screens on the windows/sliding doors, bathroom updates, etc. BUT overall a nice location for a beach getaway with a view.
