À propos de cet hébergement

Ouvert du 23 au 28 juillet. La grande salle donne sur le sable et surf avec une chemin��e et des plafonds voûtés en pin noueux Grande maison pour quiconque ne peut pas faire les escaliers. Trois des 5 chambres sont à l'étage d'entrée avec 2 salles de bain complètes. Il y a 1 chambre king, 3 chambres Queen et 1 chambre à lits jumeaux. Les enfants adorent jouer dans le grenier (grenier aménagé de la chambre à deux lits). Profitez d'une vue panoramique parfaite sur le sable et surfez dans toute la maison. Pas de nuit simple entre juin et septembre. La cuisine est entièrement équipée pour préparer un grand repas. Pont surplombant la mer avec des escaliers privés jusqu’au sable et à quelques pas des piscines à marée. Le solarium avec mobilier en osier et le patio sont parfaits pour les glacières, les vélos, etc. Il y a une belle randonnée qui décolle au bout de la rue au nord. Le chemin est à environ 1. 5 miles à pied à travers les vieux sapins et des vues panoramiques sur le front de mer! Portez des bottes à moins que ce ne soit l'été.

One of the best vacations EVER!!!

This house is fantastic! The pictures online do not do enough to show how beautiful the views are. The house has impressive characteristics since it was built in the late 1920s. More importantly, Karen was fantastic to work with. We ended up having a small problem, and after speaking to Karen, she worked hard to resolve the issue as best as possible. It says a lot when you have a rental manager on top of trying to make our stay as wonderful as possible. We will be back for sure!!!

Just ok

While it has some "rustic" charm to it, it is old and needs some major updating. They have put in new flooring, bidets, and fancy mirrors. Home has an odd smell, is very dimly lit at night so once that sun goes down, the home is very dark and gloomy. Exterior has dim lights too and we had to pack and unpack in the dark - not awesome. Hot tub is so very small. Not sure how anyone can relax in it. We have rented other homes at Roads End in the past due to location and beach access. Was disappointed in this rental unfortunately. Wanted to love it but didnt. Glad we were only here for a couple days- too dark of a home to stay longer with all the wood and dim lights. You dont realize how drabby it feels until you get there. I can see why some might appreciate the old charm vibes it has, I learned I need more natural light, brighter lights, and brighter walls. Heating is wonky. Back door is old and you get a very cold windy draft blowing in on stormy rainy days - thank goodness for the fireplace otherwise the main living area would be so cold. The rooms would be awfully hot and clammy in the summer because they were very cold at night...tried to adjust heat at night but it tends to reset itself. Had to use another comforter to stay warm. Ceiling also drips during a rain storm so be careful not to slip. Wl on wooden floosave your nreef

This home was adorable, comfortable with an amazing view and easy access to the beach! The feel is relaxed and cozy with plenty of space to gather together to watch the waves as a family. We valued being able to really enjoy our time spent at the house without feeling the need to leave to experience relaxation or fun. We would consider staying here again while visiting Lincoln city!

Amazing place

What a fantastic house with a unique design. Every seat was comfortable. The house was perfectly clean when we arrived. The view out the bay windows was amazing. Everything we needed was well stocked in the house, plenty of blankets, pillows, towels, kitchen supplies, anything we needed was already there. Easily one of our favorite places we've stayed on the beach. The staff found a phone we had left behind and reached out right away so we could make plans to get it back. We will definitely be staying here again.

Great views!!

This cozy older beach house is very comfortable. Amazing views and a nice gas fireplace to sit by and watch the waves in the winter. We enjoyed the hot tub in the rain.

Phenomenal accommodations with unbeatable views!

My extended family and I enjoyed a terrific 5-day stay over the Thanksgiving holiday. We were all amazed by the views from the living and dining rooms and at how well equipped the kitchen for a rental. Everything we needed for a full traditional Thanksgiving dinner was there! The place has a great cohesive, cozy ambiance with the beach-facing deck, hot tub, and private beach access as highlights. The one slight issue was that the heating was a little hard to control at night which I'm guessing is due to the house layout and age of the HVAC system, but it was manageable. We would definitely stay again and recommend this house with two thumbs up!

5time return trip

We have stayed here 5 times over the last few years. There have been changes made to enhance this property every time we have returned. Would love to have additional refrigerator space as we have a large group that loves to cook. Have to improvise and use coolers To quote General McArthur, "We will return"

An Amazing Experience

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Just a wonderful rental home! Everything from the view and location to the amenities stocked in the house were perfect. One of our guests consistently commented that the bed was the best mattress he's every slept on. We used the kitchen, the outdoor fire pit, the hot tub and the record player with no issues. Very nice location. The direct beach access was amazing. Easily able to go on night walks and early morning walks on the beach. It was short drives to every place we explored in Lincoln City; Sea Hag, Kyllo's, Pelican Brewing, Rusty Truck brewing and Safeway right around the corner. The rental communication was perfect and we had zero issues. House was immaculate on our arrival. 11 out of 10.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the view, the bidet and mirrors. Someone came quickly to help us with TV set up. The microwave wasn't easy to operate.The hot tub water was oily. The outside stove wasn't clean. There were no eave rain drains so water came into back into door. The bathroom vents were very dirty and the fan in bathroom was extremely loud so every time it was turned on in the night, it woke people in bedrooms, hair dryer didn't work. Dead sea lion on beach below house was never removed and the odor kept us inside and caused an influx of horseflies. We will not rent this house again.

Plus a lovely deck to sit on to watch the ocean and activity of the family. We enjoyed being able to be outside and do smores on the patio. The kitchen was very well stocked. It was big enough for our family. And the children loved the foosball table when they weren't out on the beach. A1Beach rental was very nice to work with.

Lovely spot with lots of charm

Walking in it had a magical charm. The beach views and access were amazing. Lots of kitchen supplies made food prep very easy. Everyone had a great time.
