À propos de cet hébergement
Spacious side-split directly facing lake, Wellington Beach, Prince Edward County
First, wake up to the songs of the birds. Then stretch, and gaze at the lake. Stroll along Wellington Main, until you find the cafe that best catches your eye. You will have plenty to choose from, including authentic Italian, gourmet at the North Dock (0pen 365 days a year) and a sweet open-air expresso stop, with room for just 2, (it's part of a swish clothes store), and lots more! Ready for a swim? Saunter to the beach. Yes, there are picnic tables and benches provided, if you want to enjoy your breakfast, brunch, or even dinner there. But don't forget to sample the plethora of "10-star" restaurants in town. And end up in the old-fashioned Greenhouse Ice Cream, run by local for over 4 decades -and then home, 100 metres away.
Or maybe you're not a foodie? No worries: great library (free wi-fi and printer); dozens of wineries a short drive from town, many with free wine-tasting. And if you're missing huge No-frills and Metros, plus the buzz of a large lake town, drive to Picton -just 15 minutes away; but be prepared for traffic jams, once you're there! A quieter alternative would be Sandbanks, with miles of white sand beaches, also a very short drive away.
And how about the accommodation? Not 5-star, but I hope more than adequate: Spacious garden at front, removing you well away from the road. Lots of space there for playing sports, or just plain relaxing. Kitchen has the usual: large fridge, stove, oven, microwave, coffee-maker and what-not. Eat around the unusual island, if you don't want to adjourn to the dining area.
A couple of steps down takes you to the most spacious living room, with nice comfy leather sofa ++. Gaze at the lake from all 3: kitchen, dining and living room. A couple more steps down, and you have a small den, with the 2-piece facing the den. The 2 bedrooms on the upper level are both fitted with quen-size beds, while the 2 bedrooms on the lower level have doubles. Oh, and there's a nice big rec room on the lower level, and a private deck thatcomes with the master bedroom (you can share it with family/friends, if you feel so inclined. Parking? a long drive will fit 4+ vehicles. That's all I can think of for the mo.
