Imagine staying just a short walk to Katoomba Street shops and cafes. Kedumba Cottage has flexible sleeping for up to 8 (middle room can be 2 singles or king + sofa bed in lounge). With a cosy woodfire for those cold winter nights (as well as central heating), Kedumba Cottage has been stylishly refurbished.

You can walk to lookouts (10 min), Leura Mall/train station (20 min), or catch a regular bus/train to explore the Blue Mountains.

Your host, Lynn, lives in the next door cottage (Lorne) - which is also for hire on special requests (sleeps 6).

We loved our stay at this property and were really appreciative of the care that Matt and Lynn took to make sure our stay was comfortable. We loved the convenience of being so close to cafes and pubs too. Highly recommended.

Amazing place

We are a family with adult children, and a dog and this place was the bomb! Wonderful spaces, a fire and a very workable kitchen this was the perfect place for us to stay. The hosts have thought of everything, beautiful artworks and very cosy.

Well received

Lynn and Andrew were amazing. Lynn picked us up at the railway station. They had a bottle of wine and cookies as a welcome gift. The rooms were spacious and the beds comfortable. I would recommend this property and would definitely return if the I had the chance.

Quick getaway

Kedumba cottage suited us perfectly. Owners were there to greet us and welcomed us for the 3 nights. The cottage had everything we needed to help us enjoy our stay and perfectly located, just a 10 min walk to the shopping centres and main st. Hopefully we get to stay up thre again soon

Cosy cottage close to Katoomba St

Good instructions from the hosts regarding slightly complicated front door lock. Well equipped kitchen although the Nespresso coffee machine is the Dolche type which doesn't take the usual Nespresso pods ( silly). Plenty of cafes and restaurants within walking distance however. You won't get cold here. Very expensive on holiday or festival weekends. Pets cost $40 and more than 4 guests @ $50 per head .

Lovely Blue Mountains Cottage

Kedumba Cottage is a great place for a stay at the Blue Mountains, located a short walk to shops, cafes and restaurants on Katoomba’s main street, but more importantly close to the best bushwalks the area has to offer. We were impressed with the generous beverages and breakfast offerings included, and there is plenty of firewood to get started. Bedrooms are comfortable and our family of 5 had plenty of space to spread out. Highly recommended!!

Perfect spot for a getaway in the Blue Mountains

We had a wonderful stay at the lovely Kedumba Cottage. The home is beautifully furnished and equipped with everything we needed, and more, and a short walk from the heart of Katoomba. It exceeded our expectations, and made for a perfect mid winter getaway. I would highly recommend a stay to friends, and hope to be back again.

Perfect break in the Blue Mountains

Keduma cottage is a beautifully renovated cottage right near the heart of Katomba. Our family of 4 adults and our spoodle and cocker spaniel had a fabulous stay in this spacious house. It was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and very well equipped with everything you might need. Our host was very prompt with communications and provided excellent detail both before, during (information at the house) and towards the end of our stay. We were delighted with the extra touches on our arrival: a bottle of wine, biscuits and some milk. I highly recommend Keduma cottage as a place to stay.

Xmas in the mountains

The cottage was delight for a family getaway including furkids. It is very central but still very quiet & feels like an escape from hectic pace. Very well equipped, very charming & comfortable.

Perfect house and location for our family get together.

Kedumba House is a beautiful cottage in Katoomba on a quiet street and was just what we needed for our big kids, little kids and Bonnie our Cavoodle. Very child and dog friendly, whilst being a lovely space for the adults to relax in. It is so close to Katoomba town centre and beautiful walks and hikes. Thanks so much Fran and Lyn for making it really memorable and we forgot to say a huge thank you also for the welcome goodies. They were really appreciated by all. We really hope to be back. I live in Katoomba, NSW, Australia, having moved here from Taipei, Taiwan. I was born in England and lived in Wales too. Recently, I adopted a rescue greyhound. I love music, films and fun... and run a Meetup group called 'Katoomba Live Music / Performance'.

I love travelling and tend to do a lot for work. My favourite place?... Home, of course. Other places come and go in my 'top 10', but home is always number 1! Come and see the beauty of the Blue Mountains.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Three double bedrooms (one has twin beds or King bed), two bathrooms (two showers, one bath) and a Queen size sofa bed in the lounge area. You will love "Kedumba Cottage" for its flexibility in accommodating family and friends alike. (Next door is also an Airbnb that sleep up to 6 guests - ask for link)

The lounge is spacious and stylish with plush rugs and mood lighting for your cosy nights in. During the cold winter nights you can enjoy a real fire (wood burner) or central heating if you prefer. One basket of wood is provided upon request. The 42" smart TV links to the wifi (for Netflix/streaming) and the areal for terrestrial channels.

There is a private deck area accessible for the lounge for outdoor dining (with a BBQ) as well as a small garden beyond.

The dining area between the lounge and kitchen has room for up to 8 people to enjoy a formal meal or for you to just hang around and play games (we provide a few board games and cards for your enjoyment).

The kitchen is well stocked with pans/utensils for cooking home meals, with all the essentials you need to make you feel instantly at home (including a new coffee machine for those essential espresso/lattes!).

We stock plenty of cleaning products and provide fresh tea towels and new cleaning sponges. Other consumables are provided in limited quantities (e.g. toilet rolls, cling wrap, foil). We don’t supply disposable kitchen rolls.
