Cabin was cute. Very clean. Property and amenities as described. Only problem was the futon. The cushion is shot!! And was extremely uncomfortable to sit on, even for a short time. Thankfully we had a cancellation and no one had to sleep on it. Other than that it met all of our needs.
We had a wonderful time!
Peaceful and relaxing.
The hot tub was extremely clean, which was the most important thing.
Wish we had a few more days to stay and relax.
My husband and I loved our stay even though it was raining the whole time. The hot tub was wonderful and had beautiful views. The cabin itself is lovely with a comfortable bed and a gas fireplace in the bedroom. The owners were also fantastic. We canât wait to come back!
What a great place to unwind and unplug! We enjoyed walking down to the river and our kids loved the hot tub! Beautiful view, simple, clean cabin. Definitely coming back!
Place & location was perfect for a weekend getaway. My husband & 4 kids enjoyed connecting with nature & each other. Cabin was well equipped. Fire pit, grill, sauna and walk to the river made it a relatively relaxing experience. Surprisingly we were able to use our phones without any problems, At&t and Verizon.Only complaint was that trying to watch TV at the end of our long day was a challenge, not user friendly. Otherwise enjoyed our stay.
I was here with my friend and my dog for New Years Eve. It was a cozy and great escape. Everything clean and worked well, looks just like the pictures.
Shenandoah River Outfitters rents this cabin along the Shenandoah River. We have 10 cabins along the river. We have been renting canoes, kayaks, rafts and tubes since 1970! We added cabins in 1995 so folks could stay over after a day on the river.
We love the Blue Ridge mountains with the GW National Forest surrounding us on the Massanutten mountain (the view you see from the hot tub) with hiking trails, hunting, bird watching, etc. and then there is the Shenandoah River just down the field from the cabin....
The mountains, the Shenandoah Valley, Page county, Luray, the Shenandoah River--you can't ask for much more.... but there is! Shenandoah National Park and Luray Caverns! plus the charm of small town life in Luray.
