Situé directement sur le lac Huron avec 80 pieds de plage de sable de sucre doux, dans une rue calme au large des États-Unis 23 situé au cœur d'Oscoda, Mi. Vous obtenez le meilleur des deux mondes avec cette location; droit sur le lac Huron - front de mer, beaucoup de sable pour les enfants à jouer, volley-ball, boule d'attache, se détendre et vous pouvez marcher à peu près tout - restaurants, bars, glaciers, cinéma, putt putt golf, marché fermier, bowling , le parc de la ville avec des concerts gratuits et des films gratuits chaque semaine dans le parc en été, et bien plus encore.

Nous avons la climatisation centrale. Idéal pour les journées chaudes et pour rafraîchir la maison le soir.

Si vous aimez la plage de sable du lac Michigan, vous adorerez Oscoda et le lac Huron! Notre maison de plage est plate, pas d'escalier à descendre pour se rendre à la plage. C'est du sable, pas de broussailles ni de chemin à parcourir. Le paradis juste sur la terrasse et la plage! Grande terrasse enveloppante avec table / chaises de patio pour les repas.

Très proche de la rivière Ausable pour le canoë ou le kayak. Faites une croisière sur la rivière Queen aussi.

The Gailes at Lakewood Shores - L'un des meilleurs terrains de golf du Michigan, classé dans le top 10, est à seulement quelques kilomètres. Si vous aimez jouer au golf, c'est celui que vous ne voulez pas manquer.

Nous sommes également à seulement 15 minutes de East Tawas et tout ce qu'ils ont à offrir. Profitez des deux villes, une à distance de marche et une à quelques minutes en voiture.

Cette maison de vacances est décorée avec goût dans des tons neutres sur le thème de la plage. De nombreuses options de restauration; à l'intérieur au long comptoir et table attachée ou dîner à l'extérieur sur le pont. Le soir, allumez un feu dans le foyer extérieur ou à l'automne profitez du foyer au gaz tout en regardant un spectacle ou un film sur la télé à écran plat. Les enfants et les adultes peuvent profiter du hockey sur air et de nombreuses options de jeux de société. Au cas où, il existe également un système de jeu Wii.

La chambre principale a un lit king-size, une baie vitrée et un mur de porte. La chambre principale fait face à l'eau. Les chambres comprennent un lit queen-size dans une chambre et 2 lits superposés (total de 4 lits). Il y a une salle de bain complète à l'étage principal et une salle de bain complète à l'étage entre les 2 chambres. Laveuse et sécheuse incluses au cas où vous auriez besoin de faire un chargement rapide.

Les propriétaires ont loué par le passé dans d'autres lieux et ont essayé d'anticiper les besoins des locataires. De nombreux extras sont fournis pour rendre vos vacances un peu plus douces.

Absolutely perfect location for family vacation

We had an amazing stay at sunny slope. The moment we walked in made it clear that every last detail was thought of and every effort made to ensure that our stay was everything we hoped for and more. The location is so beautiful and private. We felt like we had our own private paradise. I don't think there is a better location anywhere in the area. We immediately booked again for next year and we can't wait to go back.

Great beach vacation with our family!

My family stayed here for five days in July 2019 and we had a great time! The view is beautiful and having the beach and water right off the back porch was amazing for our family. The home was clean and Jacqui was great to communicate with and has instructions around the property so you know how to operate everything. If you are looking to vacation in Oscoda, MI or just looking for a great place for your family I would highly recommend this property!

THE BEST ON THE BEACH!

My family and I can't say enough about staying at Sunny Slope. We have stayed here a couple of times and it is by far the best on the beach! The location is perfect and Jacqui goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable. All you need to do is bring your clothes and food. There is plenty to do between the games, videos, air-hockey, BBQing, hanging out, and of course the convenient access to the beach. We enjoy cooking in as much as heading to the local restaurants. There isn't an appliance or kitchen need that Jacqui hasn't thought of. We look forward each year to visiting as you can truly relax. When not at the house, we are kayaking and canoing, going to the movies, bowling, playing golf or miniture golf, shopping at the Ben Franklin and other shops in Tawas or walking around Alpena. If you really want a relaxing and chill vacation this place won't disappoint. It will just make you want to come back year after year. Thank you Jacqui and to her family for sharing your home. Great location for a family beach holiday

When you can step off the back deck of the cottage/house onto white sand and then walk right into the clear water, we knew we were going to enjoy the week with our family (which includes a small grandchild). The area from the cottage to the water is huge, is a great play area for kids and gives great privacy being bordered by sand bluffs on both sides. We met one set of neighbours while at the water but otherwise would never have known anyone was there. The area is very quiet, but it is close enough to the downtown area so it's easy to walk or bike to for ice cream or to sightsee. There are some bicycle trails we used in the area. The cottage décor makes it really feel like a seaside cottage/beachy retreat as the photos online show. There are lots of games to play and books and magazines to read if it's an indoor rainy day, and the kitchen was very well-stocked with almost any item you could need, both big and small (we did, however, leave a suggestion to stock a cheese grater as we made pizzas on the barbecue [but we got by with the rasp that was there]). The king-sized bed on the main floor was comfy with nice sheets. There was a lot of clothes storage so we could unpack and not live out of suitcases. The queen-sized bed upstairs was comfy too; that bedroom is smaller than the bedroom on the main floor but is fine for two people. The second upstairs bedroom (third bedroom), a kids' room, with colourful undersea décor and two sets of bunk beds was a fun room and since we didn't need the bunk beds, the room nicely held a child's play yard (playpen) for sleeping. There is a large fire pit that we enjoyed. You need to bring your own firewood, but it is readily available for about $5/bundle at stores and from people selling it at the ends of their driveways in the area. The owner was great in answering any questions we had, being both prompt and detailed. She also gave us suggestions for rainy day activities, places to visit, things to do, shopping locations in the area, and so on. We spent a couple of hours poking through some décor shops in the town and there are two decent grocery stores where we were able to buy everything we needed for the week. The weekly farmers market was great for buying fresh items. We would happily return to Sunny Slope.

Amazing beach!

We could not have been more thrilled with out trip to Sunny Slope. The house was everything we needed plus much more. It was clean, welcoming and the perfect size for our family of 5, with space to provide plenty of separation for our two small nappers. The location was perfect. We were within walking distance of the downtown area and pier but the house was far enough off of the beaten path to feel very private and secluded. Jacqui went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we could possibly need for our trip. She was an extraordinary hostess, down to even making sure there was baby shampoo in the bathroom for us. She truly made us feel like the home was set up just for us. In addition, she was incredibly helpful in talking through issues that pertained to having an active two year old on a beach front property. Jacqui was very easy to reach and the one non-urgent question that I e-mailed to her during or vacation was responded to with a phone call within minutes of my sending the e-mail. The absolute best thing about Sunny Slope, however, has to be the AMAZING beach front. I have never seen a lake house with such a gorgeous and spacious beach. Jacqui made sure we had a list of current events and activities around town, but to be honest, we really just wanted to wake up and spend every day outside in the sand. The pictures simply do not do the beach justice. There was so much space between the house and the water that even being with 2 small children we were able to enjoy the beach rather than constantly worry about someone going in the water unsupervised. It was just perfect. Like everything else, the beach was stocked with everything we could have needed. Plenty of seating, picnic tables, a grill, fire pit, lawn chairs, volley ball net, sand toys for the kids, outdoor shower and too many other things to list. We can't wait to go back!

A Beach Dream

Sunny Slope was everything we could have asked for and more! Jacqui thought of everything needed to make the stay relaxing and comfortable. We cooked most of our meals and found the kitchen to be overstocked with cookware necessities. We traveled with our three boys (six, three, three months) and they loved the amenities as well! The beach was well combed, beautiful sand, and right outside the door. The views (sunrise AND sunset) are stunning. The campfire pit was wonderful for making smores and family memories. Sunny Slope was clean, well maintained, and set the stage for quality bonding and family memories. We will definitely stay at Sunny Slope for any future travels to Oscoda.

Amazing Rental!!!!!!!!!!!

I have rented other properties but by far this was the best on yet. First of all the description of the property was very accurate and it was just beautiful. Large kitchen, central air, awesome beds, great location within walking distance of downtown, did I mention the beach??? My kids, four of them, had a ball. Lots and lots of sand and very quiet. I will be going back next year!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh and the owners provided excellent service and when I had a question they called me back right away. Great Place!

Beautiful Beach Home on Beautiful Lake Huron Beach

We just spent a week at Jacqui's beautiful vacation home on the beach of Lake Huron! My family and I just loved this beach house and the lake view is fantastic. The house is nicely decorated, clean, well maintained and you feel like you found a piece of paradise on a big sandy beach that is all yours. We sat in the sunroom many evenings playing games, sat on the deck in the morning with our coffee and spent our days sitting and walking the beach. We also enjoyed catching up around the fire pit . We took a cruise on the Ausable River Queen, went to the local farmers market, and ate out at many of the local restaurants that were very good. We will definitely rent again. Jacqui was a great host and very good to work with. She made sure our stay was perfect! I would recommend this house to anyone who loves the beach and is looking for paradise! Thanks Jacqui! Paradise on Lake Huron!

Sunny Slope was absolutely everything we could have dreamed of in a vacation rental! Jacqui was a total pleasure to speak with throughout the entire planning process. She was very accommodating and provided a lot of information and answers to questions so we felt prepared for our weeklong stay. However, none of that prepared us for the beauty and perfection of the home and beach when we arrived! The view of the lake when we walked through the front door was breathtaking! The home was spotless, kid-friendly, spacious, and very practical for our vacation needs (the outdoor shower, huge deck, and sunroom were great features). The beach could not have been more gorgeous!! I sometimes worry that the pictures posted on rental sites aren't true to the actual property now. They totally were. None of us could believe that we weren't on the white sand beaches of Lake Michigan! The stretch of beach is perfect for taking long walks and the sandy-bottom lake is ideal for swimming and for small kids (shallow for awhile with no sudden drop-offs). The close proximity to town allowed us to walk to the park for an outdoor concert and to play on the playground, walk to an ice cream shop, and even take a short drive to the state park in Tawas, rafting on the Au Sable, and shopping in downtown East Tawas. I highly recommend this property! If you are lucky enough to reserve time here, you will not be disappointed!

Beautiful and Pristine Beach

We've stayed a week here now four summers and will be five. The house has every possible convenience included and is kept in fantastic condition. The beach is absolutely gorgeous and spacious, and we always enjoy playing volleyball and lighting bonfires in the fire pit. Although so close to downtown Oscoda, this place could not feel more isolated. Can't imagine going anywhere else.

Awesome stay, great getaway !!!

We had a wonderful stay at the lake home!!! The home is perfectly located on a quiet side street, yet it is right in town and just a quick walk to the park, shops and several ice cream stores. The beach and the views are pristine and relaxing. The home was super comfortable to all and is extremely clean, updated and beautiful!! At night you can even hear the waves to lull yourself to sleep. Loved our stay, excellent accommodation, excellent location and views! Thank you!!!

Fantastic Getaway!

My family has been renting homes in the Oscoda/Greenbush area for many years for our summer vacation. We could not have selected a better property then this one. Beautiful and immaculate

We loved our stay at Summer Slope. Outside, the beach welcomed for peaceful walks and quiet reflection. Children played at a nearby park, and the pier offered a scenic view of the shore. Inside, the tastefully decorated cottage provided every cooking implement imaginable. Enjoying all the view all day long, we barbequed on the beach and had a hard time deciding where to dine - the deck, the sun room, or the long convenient kitchen bar.

Beautiful home right on the water

This home is beautifully decorated, very clean, and in a fantastic location. Quiet and private with plenty of room and amenities like a fully stocked kitchen, outdoor shower, volleyball net, and fire pit. Spent most of the weekend in the three season porch, just enjoying the view of the water. Owner's attention to detail made the stay a pleasure. Definitely will return!

The Cape Cod of Michigan...

I must admit that when my husband and I moved from Connecticut to Ohio I was a little upset about leaving the beaches of New England behind. I grew up going to Cape Cod every summer and my husband went to Maine. Both were only a few hours drive from where we grew up and made long weekends an easy retreat. There is nothing like the white sandy beaches and the cool water on a hot summer day. I am so excited that we found Sunny Slope. When I first looked at the photos I was amazed that the beach looked like home, and upon arriving I was not disappointed. It is the closest we have come to finding a getaway that is a drivable distance that reminds us of home. I posted I picture on my Facebook page and within minutes my dad commented "Wow that looks like the Cape!" The beach is just one of the perks of Sunny Slope. The house is well maintained and I appreciated the attention to detail that the homeowners put into the beach decor. The house has everything one would need for a weekend getaway or a weeks stay. Our group was extremely pleased with and hope that we can go back again some day.

Wouldn't change a thing!

We had an amazing time at Jacqui's beach house! It is super clean and has every amenity that you would need to enjoy your stay. We immediately felt at home. The beach was amazing! White soft sand all the way to the water. Great for our family (3 young children). They played in the sand all day and enjoyed the quick walks down to the waters edge. The house is very private, we had the entire beach to ourselves our entire stay. We are already looking forward to returning. Thanks Jacqui for sharing this wonderful oasis!

OUTSTANDING BEACH PROPERTY!!!!

Incredible upkeep and nicely updated. The beach was very impressive and the view is one of the best in Michigan. Short distance to just about all Michigan has to offer....canoeing, kayaking, antique shops, cute towns to shop, etc. We also had the experience of witnessing a brilliant full moon that lit up the beach like dawn and took our breath away. The owner is amazing with communication and puts high priority on making sure the house is pristine for each and every guest. 11/10!!!

Amazing Vacation!

Absolutely amazing beach house. The beach is equal to or better than any on the west side of the state. The house has incredible views of Lake Huron and is super clean, updated, and layed out wonderfully. My wife and two boys (ages 2 and 6) enjoyed our stay immensely and would highly recommend. Sandy beach, close to town, great for the kids and the owner is beyond helpful!

This home is beautiful, well maintained and immaculate. It is away from busy streets, yet close enough to walk or bike to town for ice cream. The beach comes right up to your door and is perfect for swimming...no rocks, clean sand. Kids can play on the beach all day with the toys provided and there is lots to do in case of rain with the air hockey table, movies, and games provided. There was enough seating for us to entertain guests for dinner and the screened in porch kept bugs away. Jacqui made the whole process very easy and provided many special touches. We really enjoyed our relaxing vacation and would recommend this rental to anyone.

Perfect getaway vacation house

We've stayed at Sunny Slope for a week each of the last two years and are now fully spoiled by how perfect the place is and that EVERY detail is taken care of by Jacqui. If there was any concern about feeling isolated while still so close to downtown, that was erased after the first walk down to the beach where the only thing in sight was miles of beautiful sand. The street is tucked quietly away from the main road in Oscoda and it actually feels more seclusive than other places I've stayed well north of town. We have three young children and the place could not be more suitable for them. The shoreline is gentle and sandy for the really young ones, and all the kids love the bunk beds upstairs. There are board games, video games, and flat screen TV's to keep busy at night. There really are no complaints about this place at all - highly recommended!

Beautiful Location and User Friendly Home!

We spent a wonderful week at this well equipped home on the shores of Lake Huron. The house is just as described, had everything we needed for family of 5 and very clean, well maintained. The beach and water are clear and clean. Our little ones could splash and play easily as it is shallow and no sharp drop off. Jacqui is a dream to work with, provides lots of info and is very helpful. We would definitely love to go back to Sunny Slope for another great family vacation!

This is a beautiful property!

Beautiful home with a spectacular view! The owners have really thought of everything you could want/need to enjoy a carefree vacation. Perfectly located within walking distance to restaraunts, bars, the park/public beach, shops, etc. The beach was beautifully maintained, and they had everything you could possibly need for a nice day at the beach (sand toys, volleyball/football, chairs). The rooms are on the small side and the distance from the house to the water is a little far, but this will not deter us from coming back. We absolutely loved our week here!

The hurley family

Your home was so over and above what we expected. We built sandcastles. some, more creative than socially acceptable. swam every day on your beach that was child and adult friendly . The air hockey table entertained us for many hours of competition. The decore left me envious, it was so funtionial yet it looked like it was featured in a magazine. The beach was pefect, sandy, no rocks,a nice sandbar, and amazingly quiet. The linens, towels.and paper products were ample as was the dinnerware and cookware. Biking during the construction was a little challenging. We only hope we were as good as quests as you were a host for one of our best family vacations

Our family's one week vacation

The house was as advertised and was spotless when we arrived. The house easily accommodated three generations of our family. The kids loved having a T.V. in their room. Great view with a nice beach. Went kayaking on the Ausable river, built fires and generally enjoyed ourselves. Owners proved easy to deal with and the transaction went seamlessly. Would recommend this house to any family.

This beach house is our dream come true. We searched for several years every summer until we found what we were looking for. We have renovated it to give it more of a 'beachy' vacation feel. We hope our guests will enjoy it as much as we do and especially take good care of it. We are blessed to have many returning guests.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

It's a great location right in town and yet still very private, lots of soft sand, walking distance to ice cream shops, restaurants, the Oscoda Beach Park and so much more. We love all the sand and our new Gazebo is my happy place.

On a quiet street yet right in town and walking distance to so many things. Very big beach even with the high water levels. Lots of sand. We weren't really affected by the high water.
