Just minutes to the ocean & bay, you and the kids will love this peaceful tropical oasis. The main house features a master with ensuite & parents retreat while upstairs inc. two kids bedrooms plus a secret cubby area. The open plan, air-conditioned kitchen/living area flows to an outdoor entertaining area overlooking the heated pool and spa. A stunning American Barn at the rear is a perfect, large recreational space with extra living & dining as well as an extra loft bedroom for another couple.

THE SPACE

The landscaped gardens contribute a serene tropical vibe while the barn will keep the kids or guests entertained for hours. This is a very large retreat entertainment area that can be used for everything from large formal dinners through to an area to send the kids to happily spend their days.

It has its own living, dining, bathroom and bar area as well as a loft bedroom. Complete with large TV with a DVD library, ping pong table, board games, old school video arcade games (Galaga anyone?), books and magazines, even rainy days will be something to look forward to. There is also a Aussie Heat Wave chiminea fire pit in front of the barn for you to sit and enjoy a quiet drink under the stars while the family toasts some marshmallows.

The herb garden is yours to enjoy if you like to cook while the outdoor bbq and dining area will be a favourite at meal time. Olive oil, balsamic vinegar & herbs and spices are all available in pantry.

GUEST ACCESS
You will have full access to all areas including the main house (3 bedrooms), the barn (1 bedroom), the gardens, the pool and spa, outdoor alfresco entertainment area and more. That's over 1000 square metres for you and the family to enjoy!

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE

Two of the bedrooms are suitable for adults / couples. The other two bedrooms are ideal for kids. WE DO NOT ACCEPT SCHOOLIES or groups under 27 years of age. We also do not accept bookings from guests with no previous Air B & B reviews. We are respectful of our neighbours, all of them have our contact details and they are quick to report any issues not only to us but to the council. No noise after 11pm and before 7am and all car bust be parked in the driveway at ALL TIMES failure to do so will result in a $600 local council fine that will be passed on to the guest.

Family stay.

The main house is a size of a modern 3 bedroom unit; very compact.Outdoor area is perfect for entertaining but also of moderate size. Beautiful, shady garden is a drawcard. The barn is a very spacious place that feels a bit like a school camp activity room. It needs some more work to make it attractive.In overal we had a great time, but the price of venue was not really justifiableroom.fee

Amazing place

It was a very nice place to stay in. It’s in a nice, quiet place where you can just switch off. Place was very clean when we came and all the things we might need were already there in the pantry/kitchen Would highly recommend

Simply Lovely

Property is wonderful - really comfortable and picturesque. Claire is so kind and always quick to respond. Everything you need for an enjoyable holiday is there. Very cold days when we stayed, but it was quick and easy to warm up the house. Kitchen/laundry/bathrooms were all well stocked and there was a Nespresso machine. Multiple living zones, which meant I could enjoy a coffee in peace looking out onto the lovely gardens while the kids watched Netflix in another room. The barn was amazing and, though we only used it for playing ping pong, I could imagine how great it would be with a larger group. Heated spa and swimming pool were fabulous. I read another review saying there weren’t enough towels - I don't agree. You need to bring your own swim towels and face washers (which we did), but we didn't find any shortage of regular towels. Only notes for other guests (doesn't apply to us): If you are elderly, there are a few steps to navigate. If you have very young children, the bathroom and toilets are all downstairs, but the kids' bedroom is upstairs. Our kids loved the place and had no problems. It was also only a short drive to beaches and shops. If you want a place that would be wonderful any time of year then this is it!

Long weekend family getaway

My family and I had a lovely long weekend away staying at this property. The house is lovely, comfortable and had everything we needed on hand. The pool and spa was also a hit with the kids and adults. The house is only a short drive to the Rye shops with lots to do and see. A lovely place for a family getaway.

We enjoyed in hot tub,I really liked the environment and especially the barn

Check in time is too late. Cleaning is not good. I really appreciated of the owner,she always replied my messages. There was information about property but one thing was missing which is hot tub’s water level. We want to go in the spa in evening but the water was cold and didn’t heat up,I send message to the owner,her husband called me next morning and told to fill up the tub. You should mention this at the beginning. The fireplace was very nice, the weather was cool and we always lit the fireplace. Internet speed was excellent. We have been renting a holiday house in this area for 6 years as a family, the sheets in all the houses we stayed in were ironed, in this house they were wrinkled. There were spiders in every corner of the house, the owner said it's normal to have spiders in the natural environment, but I don't think spiders would get in if home remedies were used. Despite all this, we had a lot of fun in the hot tub and the pool, I will not write a bad public review, it is enough for the host to know what I am not satisfied with. Thank you.

Perfect short stay

Accommodation was wonderful! Kitchen was well stocked, with plenty of condiments. Rooms were clean and well furnished. Kids had a great time in the pool and the spa was fabulous on a cold night. Claire was a lovely host. She was immediate with responses, and very helpful. All in all, it was a fantastic 2 day getaway.

The property was extremely versatile and fun to rent. Had great facilities and close to shops.

Overall experience was fantastic just some minor suggestions, would have been nice of around the pool was swept/tidier and extra towels would have been great. But all in all it was a great place to rent

Fantastic house exceeding all expectations

This property is great. The layout is super comfortable and the amenities are awesome. The heated spa and pool, the back barn with extra bar and table tennis etc. It has it all!

Luxurious and cozy

So many places to chill out. In front of the fire, by the pool and spa, in the pool or spa, in the barn, in the garden. Even in the winter it was Paradise.
