L'une des meilleures propriétés de Blue Ridge, nous savons que vous ne serez pas déçu! Assis sur le pont arriÚre couvert spacieux et donnant sur la vue à long terme exceptionnelle sur les montagnes sera certainement l'un de vos moyens préférés pour se détendre. Profitez de la balançoire du porche ou faites griller un steak juteux sur le balcon privé pendant que votre animal préféré profite de la brise.
Starling Skies est un chalet de montagne de 2 chambres et 1 salle de bain offrant un accÚs facile (ce qui n'est pas courant avec les propriétés de montagne - tout à fait un avantage!) sur les routes pavées de l'autoroute et de nombreux parkings avec son allée circulaire. Pour accéder à la propriété, vous pouvez conduire le long d'un ruisseau incurvé et babillant et sur un pont couvert en bois!
La maison est bien entretenue et décorée professionnellement. La belle roche, le foyer au bois, les planchers et garnitures en bois et les meubles rembourrés en cuir ne sont qu'un avant-goût de la particularité de cette maison. Diffusez votre émission Netflix préférée ou profitez de votre film préféré sur la grande télévision à écran plat SMART ou préparez un repas gastronomique dans la cuisine entiÚrement équipée.
A 10 minutes en voiture de Blue Ridge et retrouvez-vous dans une petite ville de montagne qui offre des antiquaires, des boutiques haut de gamme et une cuisine raffinée. Breathtaking Views

The back porch view was spectacular! What a cozy cabin in the woods! The host was always available to answer questions quickly. A wonderful experience. The location was perfect. Close to all the nearby attractions, shopping and eating.

Thanksgiving in Blue Ridge

We had a lovely time at this cabin. We cooked a whole thanksgiving meal here. The only equipment we brought was a crockpot and instapot, everything else we needed was in the cabin. The cabin was very close to both Blue Ridge and Elijah. There was also hiking close by. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we will be back.

Fantastic!

Starling Skies is a little piece of heaven. It is halfway between Ellijay and Blue Ridge, the perfect location to enjoy all that both little towns have to offer. This well-appointed and cozy cabin has everything you need to enjoy a mountain get-away. The views are beautiful, the property feels private, and the host was wonderful to work with. The road up the mountain to this cabin is navigable, which is meaningful because we have visited another cabin in the area that was a pretty steep drive up and not appropriate for anything other than a 4-wheel drive. Amazing stay that we would re-book. Thanks for sharing Starling Skies with us!

5th Wedding Anniversary

The cabin was clean, private and exactly what we were looking for. The drive to the cabin is a little sketchy unless you have a 4-wheel drive, but not too bad. The view from the cabin was spectacular! My only complaint is the owner never responded to our phone call in reference to the TV. Although we were out most of the day it would have been nice to watch some tv and relax in the evening, but could not find any local channels. However, it was not a deal breaker. Very nice cabin and would recommend it.

Location is great!

We were there for Thanksgiving. We are family of 5: me, my husband, two young adults and my teen son and a dog. The place was as described, and although it was a little tight each one had their own comfortable bed. We loved it! My children had lot of time to bond together and the view was amazing!

We enjoyed our stay. Our number one priority was a good view and we had that! Had some bumps checking in and issues with heater but it was dealt with quickly. We had a good time with both Blue Ridge & Ellijay close by. 😊

First Time to Blue Ridge

We rented this property through VRBO. It was a very easy process. The cabin itself was cozy and clean with a beautiful fall view from the back porch.

Anniversary Getaway

Great place for our little getaway! The view is beautiful. Close to both Blue Ridge & Ellijay. The cabin is well stocked and clean. (The hair dryer came in clutch when I realized I forgot mine!) A couple steep inclines on the way to the cabin so be sure your vehicle can handle those. Definitely a place we would stay again. We really enjoyed our stay at Starling Skies!

Great Cabin With Beautiful View

Family and I spent the 4th of July Holiday here. Location of the cabin is great. Located with the view of the sunset which was stunning. Plenty to do at the cabin and just a short drive to Blue Ridge and Ellijay. Cabin was very clean. Communication with the Host was quick and easy. Courtney is very responsive to question. I am looking forward to staying here again. I would definitely recommend this cabin if you are looking for a getaway from the hustle of everyday life.

Wonderful Family Vacation

My husband, four year old daughter, and I enjoyed our stay. The cabin was clean and well decorated. The porch was wonderful. We loved spending time in the swing and soaking in the view. It was very close and convenient to Blue Ridge as well as Ellijay. The only suggestion I have is the addition of some stand up floor fans. The window A/C unit did a good job cooling off the cabin but the weather was very hot (90s) the first day. (I know we are in a heat wave down south and the high temperatures aren’t normal.) Some floor fans would have made it a little more comfortable. Once the weather cooled down it was perfect.

This was our 3rd time renting a cabin in the Blue Ridge area. It is such a quiet and peaceful getaway. Our dog loves walking in the woods!

Beautiful Mountain get-away!

We had an amazing long weekend in this beautiful cabin with a spectacular view! It was super close to town, for shops and restaurants, as well as convenient to many trails for great hiking. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful Peaceful Cabin

The cabin was spotlessly clean and well maintained. The appliances are all fairly new and the shower had lots of hot water. We ate all of our meals on the nice picnic table on the balcony and spent our evenings on the swing chair with a glass (or three) of wine. We liked the cabin accessibility - a fairly short drive on a mix of paved and gravel roads - and the proximity from downtown Blue Ridge. And there's lots to do in the area - vineyards, breweries, restaurants and hiking, fishing and boating.

Wonderful family getaway

We had such a wonderful time during our stay. My husband and I brought our 2-year old and 5-year old and we had a great time having a snow ball fight in the front of the cabin, hiking on the trails in cherry log, hanging out on the balcony with the fire in the chimnea, eating meals al fresco on the balcony while enjoying the views of the beautiful mountainside, waking up to the fresh mountain air, going into town to enjoy restaurants in blue ridge, gem mining, hiking to see waterfalls, even staying in and watching Netflix on the tv. It was all just perfect. The decorating was fantastic, with a rustic feel, everything updated and clean. The owner was responsive and helpful. The beds were comfortable. I especially liked the kids room. The bunk bed had a pull out trundle bed on the floor that my 2-year old slept on and I didn’t have to worry about her falling out of bed. My 5-year old slept on the bottom bunk and they were right across the hall so we didn’t have to worry about them while we all slept. I searched high and low for the perfect cabin by the blue ridge mountains for a family with young children and this was it. Thank you for a wonderful vacation we will talk about for years. By the way, the drive up is a bit hairy the first time you do it. Definitely get there during light. But once you do it the first time, it’s fun going up and down the mountain thereafter. We pretended like we were going on a roller coaster ride with the kids.

Relaxing, serene and calm get away

The property is well maintained and is cozy. The views are amazing to say the least. The breeze on the back porch coupled with the views offer a calm and serene atmosphere. The sunsets are amazing as well, and once the day breaks, you can hear the trees dancing to the wind, and the rush of the lake below. They have a great chimney that helps with the ambiance on the back porch. Overall the experience was great and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxed week or weekend.

Between relaxing on the back deck with a glass of wine and breathtaking view, to hiking, shopping, whitewater rafting, and exploring downtown BlueRidge, there are so many things to do!
