It was very quiet and nice for a short get away! It was very clean and we had no issues. The power did go out for a little and the property manager was quick with updates and very responsive.

The description of the property could be better . Its on a hill side and the firepit is at the bottom of the hill so its a little climb . The hot-tub is on a lower deck separated from the upper deck where the house access is and the grill is . Overall its a nice little cabin that we feel the layout of the amenities and description could both be improved.

The homeowner confirmed that the professional listing photos show both the fire pit’s location down by the lake and the hot tub positioned on the lower deck. Since the cabin is situated on a mountain, there is a natural incline, and stepping stones are in place to help guests access the fire pit area. Home away from Home

Property was tucked off in the back, which made it nice for less noise from the highway. Clean and cozy home away from home feeling. Parking was a challenge for us due the slickness of the sloped driveway due to growth of moss. Overall it was a relaxing stay. Oh and No need to set an alarm clock, morning wake up call by the wild birds and geese with their loud bird calls are enough lol.

Convenient location

Cabin was clean and comfortable . However, pictures are deceiving. Not as big as it appears. No place to put luggage in downstairs bedroom. Queen bed was upstairs in loft with rods between rafters for hanging clothes but no place for suitcase except the floor. The biggest issue was parking. Driveway was downhill and was difficult to back out and turn around. The parking spot at the back of the house was hard to access and turn around with a large SUV. Location and closeness to Blue Ridge was the best part about this house.

Meh.

Was not impressed with the overall cleanliness. Main surfaces were fine, but the amount of cobwebs and layers of dust on unused areas was not impressive. The house is fine, but I really thought the view was going to be much better. It’s an okay location if you need something cheaper. Road up to the cabin is single lane, which was not posted. Also, they advertise 3 vehicles can park. My SUV barely fit. We enjoyed the hot tub and really hope it is cleaned after each stay as advertised. I really wanted more here. Not the best home amenities you usually find in a rental.

Guests can rest assured that we diligently manage them and professionally service the cabin. - We take pride in being transparent on our listing and photos. Our hot tub goes through a thorough cleaning process, including emptying and refilling, after each guest's stay. - For guest use, there are parking spaces for up to three cars, with two available on the driveway downstairs and one conveniently located by the entrance. Although the cabin is situated on a mountain, most of the roads are single-lane but safe to travel. - In regards to the amenities we offer, we provide essential toiletries, and complimentary Wi-Fi access, equip the cabin with a TV, and supply all the comforts that guests may need for a pleasant stay. As we strive for guest satisfaction, we're open to specific suggestions. We do all we can to make our home the best possible experience, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.

Excellent quaint cabin in the forest, awesome atmosphere for couples and groups alike

My partner and I stayed here for a long weekend and were very impressed with the place. The place came with clean, sleek appliances that were very clean, with plenty of space for groceries and ways to cook them. The upstairs loft offers a great view and was surprisingly spacious. The shower comes with a waterfall-type shower head with good water pressure, which is important for feeling refreshed after a day outside or sitting by the outdoor fire pit. The indoor fireplace is gas, but still created an extremely cozy atmosphere in the little living room. The beds could be comfier, but each sleeping space was very comfortable and inviting. Slept like a rock the whole trip! Indoor heating in the main room is a bit of a concern if you go during a cold snap, but the downstairs bedroom got sufficiently warm and cozy throughout the night. We did not have a chance to experience the hot tub, as the temperature plunged to the 20's during our stay. Another item of note is that the cabin is flanked on either side by other cabins, including one large property that semi-faces the cabin, so privacy and sound can be a bit of a concern for folks who want quiet solitude. All in all, an excellent cabin getaway for any length of time or number of guests. We would absolutely be interested in returning and highly encourage other renters to check it out!
