We loved the cabin! It was private with only a few houses through the trees. It was obvious that the deer are fed regularly because they showed up even when we were talking, playing music, etc. Thereâs a book the owners put together that includes information about the cabin as well as things to do in the area. I appreciate the effort and quality of this binder. Weâre already ready to book our next trip.
This was our anniversary trip. We wanted to stay in the Blue Ridge area. We really enjoyed our time there. We got to see some deer a couple of evenings. Spent time in the hol tub and on the side deck. It was a great trip. Only negative was the road. Glad I was in the SVU
Had a great visit at this little cabin! We had a previous visit in 2014 and this visit 11 yrs later didnt disappoint! A great hidden jewel in Blue Ridge GA, the owners communication is great and the stay is phenomenal! Do not skip this cabin if it suits your needs and available!
My family and I enjoyed our stay here! We loved seeing the deer and other wildlife. We loved how peaceful the cabin was, it made for a very peaceful stay. We loved the scenic drive up the cabin. The dirt road leading to the cabin was interesting but after a couple of drives on the road we got used to it. The cabin was well stocked and the hot tub was great! Will be back!
If you want a quiet little cabin in the woods, this is perfect. With close proximatity to tubing, fishing or kayaking on the Toccoa River it's good for relaxing or activities. Saw deer while in the hottub!
My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed this cab! It is so peaceful and the scenery is beautiful this time of year (October.) we lovedseeingtht deer each morning and evening z will definitely go back!
Great location, great property! Nice for a relaxing weekend with my wife. Deer are everywhere was fun to watch them in and out all day! Cabin was well stocked and provided everything we needed for our weekend.
We had a great time at the cabin, relaxing and enjoying the experience. Woke up in the morning and fed the deer corn and apples and then spent the day hiking the beautiful mountains. Returned in the evening to unwind in the hot tub. The time spent relaxing was much needed. There were plenty of accessories there at the cabin to use.
Long weekend getaway before school year begins. Ability to choose to disconnect or not from cell was very welcome. Watching deer and other wildlife was quite pleasant.
This cabin was so cute and well appointed. Loved the privacy and quiet. We were visited by many deer as we sat on the lovely screened porch and drank coffee. Cabin was clean, beds were super comfortable, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Very nice cabin everything was super clean and very quiet...except the rooster up the hill.
It was not super secluded but enough we had privacy.
The deer were all over and we enjoyed seeing them come eat.
The area is highly populated and touristy. Hot tub was beautiful. Loved the swing outside and the screened in porch.
Great place to get away with oneâs own thoughts or have fun with family. Communication with host was excellent. Deer (including a tiny fawn), birds, squirrels, rabbit all kept me company as viewed from the screened porch. Place was quiet (except or neighborâs rooster and goose) but they were far enough away not to bother anyone that doesnât like that.
Where do I startâŠ. We saw deer every day. In the evening of our arrival, my husband was getting the grill ready and 3 large deer popped up near the truck.
The next morning we saw them across from the cabin. And again the next morning looking off the back of the cabin.
The cabin has everything anyone would need, including the things you think about and still end up forgetting to bring.
Iâd have to say that the beds were the most comfortable beds, outside of our own.
The location was perfect. It was far enough removed that the silence was almost eerie, but welcomed.
We got into a match with the rooster up the road while sitting out on the screened in porch in the morning... every time he went cockadoodle doo!, my husband said he was saying âwhatcha gonna do?!?â We talked back to it and had a good chuckle.
This cabin was perfect in every way. Absolutely loved staying at the cabin and want to say thank you for allowing guests to experience the beauty and nature surrounding your cabin.
Regards,
Mr. & Mrs. Adams
Very well equipped with an outstanding book of instruction. Very relaxing, deer walking around, and great views. Thank you for allowing me to borrow your property.
We have always loved the mountains. For many years we visited Gatlinburg or North Carolina mountains until we found the Blue Ridge area around 2000. We fell in love with the quaintness of the town (and surrounding towns) and the ability to escape the crowds of Gatlinburg.
After visiting the area for nearly 10 years we decided to look into ownership. We looked at many properties all over Fannin county. We settled on the area in south central Fannin county. It was located between Blue Ridge, Blairsville and Ellijay almost equal distances. Most of all it was in the heart of the Aska Adventure area. When we used to rent we always would wind up in this area for almost any outdoor adventure so this area was perfect.
The property itself was remote enough that you feel very isolated but you have the safety of knowing there are other cabins nearby. I like to tell people that if you stay on our property and don't leave you might not see another car or human (but you might hear one through the woods). Also, the "neighborhood" was perfect with roads to walk with a trail feel but accessible by any car.
