Cabin was just as promised! Had no trouble finding it and we were unpacked in minutes. Neighbors were friendly and quietâŠloved hearing nature instead of cars for a change! Was close to where we wanted to be, yet peaceful. We will definitely be back!!
Kitchen well stocked except for no dish towels. Had a strong storm one night and we noticed a couple of leaks. Bed not comfortable, otherwise a very nice stay, easy instructions, no problems
We had a nice stay, we enjoyed the area. Would recommend using a vehicle with high ground clearance.Cabin very well stocked.Bed was comfortable. We enjoyed the screened porch.
Cabin was beyond beautiful. We got much needed rest and relaxation. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your cabin. Definitely looking forward to staying again.
Spent our Anniversary weekend in this sweet little spot. Cabin was clean and the bed was super comfortable. Sitting on the huge back porch listening to the rain was really relaxing. Cabin was stocked with plenty of towels. WiFi was solid and we were able to log into the Smart TV to watch a few shows/movies. Our host Mindy was amazing. Definitely recommend this cabin. Planning a return trip soon.
I found this cabin and thought it looked lovely so me and my husband booked it for our honeymoon. It was a little tricky to find at first and the lockbox was also tricky to find. The actual cabin was nice. It had nice warm and cozy vibes. Lots of blankets and extra towels which was great. The kitchen was missing some tools such as potato peeler which was a little frustrating. There also was no iron/iron board. A lot of my clothes were super wrinkly after my flight and I was hoping for an iron. On another note, the porch was lovely and the scenery was beautiful. I hope to be back. Thank you for the stay.
If you are looking for a cozy little space to spend a couple of nights in the mountains, this is the place for you! The backyard of the property is very lush during the springtime, and the weather was perfect! If youâre going in the winter, they have a lot of blankets and heaters to keep you warm. We saw some deer and a lot of fireflies, but no bears or other âdangerous animalsâ. Be prepared to hear some critters on the roof, especially at night. The drive will be a little tricky if you are not used to driving in the mountains, but the views are incredible! Overall, we would definitely come visit this place again without hesitation!
We had a great weekend stay! The cabin was in a beautiful area, and close to Blue Ridge. It was extremely clean and we felt very comfortable staying there. We loved the screened in porch and were happy with our choice to stay here. We would definitely recommend for a small group or couple.
Perfect location and very nice clean cabin. Highly recommend and hope to return sometime. Really enjoyed short drive into Blue Ridge and lots of hiking and wineries close by.
This will always be our favorite place to stay. A little tricky to find the first time but had excellent directions from the hostess. Everything we needed was there. We plan to return on Mar 24-28 and canât wait. Awesome porch!!
A rustic cabin great for a weekend trip to Blue Ridge. The screened in deck had a nice swing. Plenty of blankets for the cold months. I would recommend having 4 wheel drive as the road to the cabin is pretty steep! Host was very responsive.
The place had a great view, screened in porch unfortunately it was winter and didnât have a chance to utilize it. Very comfortable rooms, one with a skylight, space heaters for the two bedrooms, regular wall heater for the main area including the kitchen. Thereâs a nice fireplace, we bought our own wood, the living room is very cozy with cable tv, also provided in bedrooms. The ride up can be tricky if thereâs some snow, we got up there without any issues since we had an all wheel drive Subaru. Most times of the yr it wouldnât be an issue. Had a great time, great price for the cabin, definitely recommend this place.
Nice get away, enjoyed the Town of Blue Ridge, cabin was perfect, itâs two bedrooms, listed as one, enjoyed sitting by the fire place, would have loved to sit on porch, but too cold, Beds were comfy.
We had the most Amazing time at this cabin! Loved that it was Dog friendly and was nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains! It was so serene and peaceful! We loved the screen porch and how simple and peaceful this place was for us on our weekend getaway!
I had a pretty good feeling when I booked the Hilltop Hideaway cabin for our honeymoon. The truth is, when my newly-wedded wife and I arrived, we were blown away! We really enjoyed the screened-in porch in the back and played quite a few board games on the porch. Several times, I also found my wife enjoying some quiet reading time to herself in the porch hanging chairs! We had very little issues with the cabin during our stay. In fact, I think the only issue (oven dial on the stove came off) was readily addressed by the cabin owner. However, some more options for cooking pots/pans, spatulas, and serving spoons would have been nice.
We also really enjoyed the proximity of the cabin to nearby parks. There were tons of places to go hiking, and we especially enjoyed the Amicalola Falls State Park waterfall base trail and the Talking Rock Nature Reserve State Park trail. Both trails were within 20-25 minutes of the cabin, so not much driving required at all! We definitely liked the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway as well. That was only ten minutes away and offered amazing views and opportunities to get to know the scenery in the area!
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this cabin to others!
