Glens apartment is in a good location within walking distance or easy Uber to Kona town. Everything was as described and the communication checkin process was without fault. The apartment was spacious & clean with a lovely lanai with partial oceanviews. AC & fans worked well. Thankyou Glen we enjoyed our stay.

Super responsive host and helpful with questions about property. Perfect location, close to ocean and the sunsets are perfect from the pool area! Designated parking spot which was a huge bonus. We were so happy with staying at this property.

Great spot

We really enjoyed our stay. The location of this well-appointed corner unit feels secluded. We especially loved the birds and the ocean view. Easy access to west coast beaches and whale watching.

The unit was very well maintained and very well stocked. The location is excellent, close to downtown but far enough out to not have traffic problems. The brochure tha the host sends out is well done and contains a lot of good info/recommendations. When I lost our keys at the beach our host was very quick to respond to cry for help. He had a replacement key in the lockbox before we got back to the condo.

Enjoyed our stay in this vintage condo - comfortable surroundings, nice clean pool, plenty of living space, close to laundry room and parking right outside our door. Supplied by all the basic needs for 4 nights - enjoyed the stay!

Great Place!

This place had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Loved the view, even if it is a partial ocean view the sunsets are amazing and the large garden lanai was so nice! A very short walk to the pool and ocean. Great location for hitting all the sights on the Kona side!

Great, convenient condo

We stayed here as a couple in January and really liked the condo. It was perfectly situated and had everything we needed and more. Would definitely recommend.

Property was as described. There was plenty of paper towels & toilet paper! We have stayed at places where you were given 1 roll of toilet paper & 1 roll of paper towels and if you needed more you had to go & buy it! This however was not the case here! The window/wall units did an adequate job of keeping us cool. Parking was very convenient. One of the things we like about renting from owners thru VRBO is that unlike when you rent thru a timeshare there are alot of very helpful essentials that are necessary & make your life easier for instance: salt & pepper, a few spices, perhaps a bottle of cooking oil, ice chests, maybe beach chairs & umbrellas, zip lock bags, foil, sugar and other items that are not allowed to be left for reuse at a timeshare! Overall it is a comfortable and handy location to stay at. Just wish it was less expensive & that the cleaning fee was less because once you follow the checkout instructions there is little left for the housekeeper to do for the amount of the cleaning fee! Perhaps there could be a rolling cleaning fee based on the length of your stay. I could see the present cleaning fee after a 30 day stay and a much lesser charge for a one week stay!! Oh well, one can hope!! Interaction with the owner rep was excellent & much appreciated! This was a return stay for us and we will likely attempt to book again in the future. **Pictures are of/from our morning visitors and & sunset from the lanai.

AwAwesone stay

Great stay at a perfect location. Nice to have fully equiped kitchen . The swimming pool was very relaxing with the sound of the surf 50ft away. 2min drive to top rated restaurants. Onsite laundry at a reasonallble price was a plus. Easy to get to all sights and attractions on tge big island. Would definitely stay again.

Nice place in Kona

This is a charming place. We loved the birds, garden, and view. It was very private. The manager helped with every issue we had. The kitchen and whole unit was well stocked with everything one might need.

Roomy, quiet, great location

We stayed here for a week in January and loved it. Apartment is in a great location to get to all the places you want to see in that area of the Big Island. About the apartment itself: nice and roomy, comfy bed, clean. Feels very private, a corner apartment with a sliver of a view of the ocean. Great communication with Glen and always a quick response.

The partial ocean view (both in 1 BR here) and our 2 BR 2 BA upstairs have the same good view. We have had guests mention that they saw Whales (from the Lanais) and Dolphins (in the Winter). We see dolphins in the Summer. Sometimes "dolphin watch" boats anchor out within our view. These are the best ocean views at Kona Shores. Two units have a distant, full, glaring ocean view--so they have Bamboo barriers to block the sun (and close out that view).

Nice corner unit

For 2 people, the unit was spacious. We enjoyed two walls of windows looking out onto the lanai and a partial view of the ocean. The complex is ideally located close to the ocean, restaurants and shopping.
