The Master bedroom is located just off the living room, where Shoji screens allow privacy if desired, or open to create a more spacious living area. Cal King Bed in Master Bedroom. There is an adjoining bathroom with a large walk-in shower and sink w/ quartz-topped counter. The second bedroom sits towards the front of the unit, with a second bathroom close by. Queen Sized Bed in the Guest Bedroom. This bathroom has also been upgraded with a luxurious walk-in shower and quartz countertops. An inside laundry area w/ stacked washer and dryer sits just inside the front entrance. Additional upgrades include newly tiled floors, new windows & screens and new paneled doors throughout. This truly is a gorgeous condo!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Checkin was easy, easy to find property. Property was as described, great view. Had issues with living room ac unit and made multiple calls about it and it never got resolved. So a little frustrated with that. Having to reset breaker box was inconvenient and not really something a guest should have to deal with. The microwave handle is detached from the bottom so have to be careful when opening or could pull off whole handle. We still enjoyed our stay. Just wanted to give you a heads up on some improvements that could be made.

Great stay!

The condominium was as represented and in a quiet neighborhood. It was very clean and comfortable with a beautiful view of the ocean from the Lanai. We had a minor problem with the AC but the property management team was quick to resolve the problem. We would not hesitate to stay there again.

Great pool. Great Lanae

This is a well run condo association. The common areas are well maintained. Assigned parking spaces assured us proximity to our rental. Best pool of my many rentals. Large, warm, clean. Lots of sitting area and chairs and lending library surrounding pool. The large lanae/belcony views the neighboring pool area and ocean. Good for whale watching. It was shaded all day long in January, so stays cool. All appliances worked well. There were many dishes and cookwear to choose from. The sunsets were wonderful.

It took us awhile to figure out the light/fan switches. We had one problem with the air conditioner or lights not working in the master bedroom. Eventually we had to move the bed and reconnect the plug that had slightly disconnected. The help staff were very helpful in this regard. The ocean view is just as it shows in the picture. The area was quiet throughout our stay, even though it was highest season. We loved that little gecko friends shared the lanai with us. Mahalo.

Deceptive Listing

The good: Very clean, good supply of essentials, responsive property manager, The complaint: While the listing heading lists air conditioning, there is an extra $25 per day charge to use it. There may be disclosure at some point while getting into the rental agreement, a person may not notice it. The layout of the apartment almost requires A/C. There is minimal flow through ventilation possible as opening the jalousies is not possible. The second bedroom is a dead air room.

Great location, awesome view

We really enjoyed the full 2BD 2BA. The outdoor furniture is great for eating and playing games. We liked having such a comfortable outdoor space to spend time. After talking to locals, I was able to find a safe entry for snorkeling, but was advised and I agree this is not a spot for beginners. Lots of fish and fun formations. Would definitely stay here again!

Reviewer Comments: My husband & I shared our holiday with my brother and sister in law..We arrived in Kona early, and were able to leave our bags at the real estates office. As stated in the paperwork sent to us with the rules & regulations, we were unable to check in until 4pm or later. Personally, I think 4pm is a late enough check in time.The Condo was very nice, looked exactly like the photos, and was very clean. A few things could be improved, especially when being occupied by 4 adults.... Here they are:The kitchen was pretty well equipped but I found it odd that there was no complimentary tea or coffee. One other thing missing was an egg flipper. The couch and 2 seater are in need of replacement. When you sit in them you sink to the floor. It was very uncomfortable to have 4 adults sitting in them.The place we spent most of our time was the back deck . The ocean view was beautiful. The outdoor setting looked great - but was too big for the space and also uncomfortable to sit at. As this is the only place for 4 people to sit together, possibly it should be reviewed. The watering of the gardens is set to come on automatically at 4am. The sprinklers out the back need to be adjusted as by 6am the furniture on the bedroom side was soaked.I know it was mentioned in the R&R, but it should be noted that there were a lot of bugs that looked like a tiny cockroach that hide under the base boards in the ensuite. Maybe a spray of the boards might kill a few.The pool was great. It was a nice temperature and the area very clean.The bbq area was also kept clean.Every night we got front row seats to a beautiful sunset- very nicePS. This review isn’t meant to be negative but if things are not mentioned you may not know The complex had a great pool and bbq area. Good location, nice unit

Overall this was a positive experience. We did not need to contact management for any reason. The view was not the best compared to an ocean front unit, but it is a very good partial ocean view at the best value we could find. The unit was very comfortable for 2 adults and one kid. A few minor annoyances were that the windows were difficult to open because the screens are placed on the inside, blocking the window controls. There are no outlets or charging locations near the master bed. A simple alarm clock with usb powered outlet would be a good addition. The fixed shower wall doesn't do a good job of keeping water in the shower, so the bathroom floor tends to get soaked with every shower. Overall these minor annoyances were not enough to detract from the great location, cleanliness of the unit, and good views.

Lovely, but some issues

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My stay was enjoyable, but that was despite an unpleasant first impression that could easily have been avoided. My frustration resulted from management's failure to warn me that my parking spot - along with about two dozen others- would not be available upon arrival because the entire property was being resurfaced in sections. I had to walk the property to find my unit because the area had been blocked off, and then park on the street that night. Management was helpful the following day by transporting me to my car and finding me a temporary spot.The view from the unit was stunning and well appreciated. The second bedroom was less than ideal (except maybe for easy kids) but we were two couples. First, the room is close to the outside parking and gets the noise and lights from that area. Second, screens were installed IN FRONT OF the windows. So what should have been a simple act of opening the blinds to allow for air circulation became a series of steps - move side table, detach screen, open blinds, re-attach screen, replace table. Repeat for other two windows and repeat again when checking out. And third, the ceiling fan was noisy on the first night when I had it on the high setting (it was fine the following nights on a lower setting). Management was responsive in addressing my complaint about the fan, but I had not replaced the lockbox key so the repair person could not access the unit... and then repairs became unnecessary because of the low-setting solution.
