The climate in Cairns is fantastic and the people are so friendly, relaxed and welcoming. I moved here with my family in 2012 and we have thrived in the warmth, sunshine and relaxed lifestyle. The cottage has been renovated with love and care, bringing a modern touch to a historical cottage, welcoming guests from near and far. I would like to welcome you, your extended family and your pets to come and enjoy our little piece of paradise in Palm Cove.

Sweet Creek Cottage is a charming historical cottage that was built in 1920 on the foundations of the Veivers beach hut. The Veivers family were the the first family to establish Palm Cove and the hut was used in the early 1900’s as the family’s holiday home.

Lovingly restored in recent years into an elegant beachside home with fully upgraded facilities, Sweet Creek Cottage provides spacious accommodation for up to three couples or for a getaway with the children, catering for up to 6 guests in total. Two master bedrooms offer luxurious king sized beds and ensuites, with the third bedroom offering a queen bed with direct access to a half bathroom.

For a balance of work and leisure, the cottage has a dedicated office space with beautiful views of the tropical garden. A 20-minute drive from the airport, 25 minutes from the centre of Cairns and a 45-minute drive to Port Douglas, Sweet Creek Cottage is the perfect location for exploring all that Cairns and its surrounds have to offer.
