Our stay was perfect. Beds and pillows were comfortable, plenty of kitchen things needed for cooking and eating. Table fit our entire group of 11 for playing games. A stay.

Bigger double beds and a better larger sectional in the main floor living area would be nice. Backyard wasn't that impressive but the deck out front was big and a nice area to hang out. Overall the house was nice, clean and spacious enough for the whole family of 13 with plenty of space to park our 5 vehicles. The Holland area and tunnel beach is a nice place to be. We would consider renting again next time the whole family vacations in the area.

Communications from the host were clear, easy to follow. We especially loved the location. Easy and interesting walk to the beach. We enjoyed the porch as a place to gather. Kitchen was well equipped and organized so that everything was easy to find.

This was an excellent home for three families and children three levels with the bathrooms and bedrooms on each level comfortable beds well stocked kitchen a quiet neighborhood minutes to Lake, Michigan, and big red

This was a well appointed well stocked home within minutes from Lake Michigan in a quiet neighborhood. All beds very very comfortable . Check in and communication is very easy. Keyless entry and garage access very useful for two cars. I would be happy to book again.

Steps up to front door were not usable during rain storms as water pooled on driveway in front of steps(2 inches ). Roof shingles were in poor condition - loose shingles at peak. Loose trim on the landing area on stairs to the leading to the second floor Otherwise very clean and comfortable stay.

Clean and spacious

The property was perfect for our needs. It was clean and spacious enough for the five of us to enjoy our our reunion time. The large kitchen was open to the living and dining areas so we were always together yet we each had our own private space in one of five large bedrooms. We did the one mile walk to the lake beach to watch a sunset and it was beautiful. Thank you for a lovely place to stay.

the house is Beautiful!!!

we had a wonderful time, The only thing I feel was misrepresented is the 'short walk to the beach" (I don't really remember the actual wording used) but it was a bit much with a baby and a toddler, you have to walk thru a little wooded area, then cross a street, walk down a little farther, then thru a parking lot and then there are a bunch of stairsteps to actually get down on the beach. I was pleased to see family games were there, My grandchildren love board games over all it was a FANTASTIC COUPLE OF DAYS and we all really enjoyed the house!!!

It was not a short walk to the beach and we had three babies which made the wooded trail and crossing a busy street impossible to walk there. We had to pay to park at Tunnel Park which was the “walkable” beach. We felt very misled by this in the description and it was the reason for choosing this location.

The walk to Tunnel Park is around 15 minutes, and by car, 0.9 miles. Great place for families

6 adults 7 kids stayed for a week. Was great for the family. Super close to the beach and the house was big enough for everyone, plus the backyard was very nice at night with the fire pit

Incredible spot!

Perfect spot for a reunion of friends! Had all of the amenities we needed, good beds for everyone, a beautiful firepit/yard, and to top it all off a perfect location. Walking distance to the beach and a quick drive to get into town. Loved staying there!

Decent place, pretty spot

Overall we enjoyed our time at this property. With just a few tweaks, it could be even better: -the WiFi was spotty. We didn’t report this to the owners because we were trying to keep kids off their screens anyway ;) it wasn’t a huge issue for us but if someone is trying to work from the home, it could be difficult for them. -it would have been nice if there were some paper towels. We ended up getting some from the store, but figured that would be a helpful thing to have onsite already. We left some for the next group 👍 -the fire pit was listed on the amenities but didn’t have any firewood. Again, we could get our own but it was our opinion that having one bundle to start with would have been nice. - there were some check out instructions posted on the wall that were slightly different than those given in email. We did the best we could with that and hopefully it won’t be an issue. Overall, the house was good and we ended up having a nice weekend and consider this property a good value. The issues we had were nothing major - just small things to be aware of, not reasons not to stay there. Thanks to the owners!

Fall Wedding

Perfect home to stay at for our large group including 4 children 2 teenagers and 5 adults. We stayed for a week to attend a wedding at St. Andrews Cathedral in GR, with the reception at Boatwerks in Holland. My family from Hawaii absolutely loved it! Walking distance to Tunnel Park, fire pit and grill. Loved it!

Great space! Close to beach!

Great house with plenty of space. Couch is not comfortable at all and the pillows on the beds were not great but overall we had a great time and would book again.

The house was in a great location, very close to beaches. The private path to Tunnel Park beach was convenient and it was an easy bike ride to Holland State Park. The house itself was average. We had 5 adults and it didn’t feel very spacious. The outdoor areas including the backyard patio could use a little TLC. The inside was ok, like a 3 star hotel, nothing fancy. Many windows in the house didn’t work and/or didn’t have screens. I like to open windows when it’s cool and we weren’t able to do that. The freezer was mostly unusable due to ice build up.

Your feedback is essential to us, and we've relayed your comments to the homeowner, who would like to address the following: -We want to assure you that the photos and descriptions in our listing accurately reflect the house. We encourage all guests to thoroughly review the details to ensure the property meets their expectations. The home is intentionally designed to be comfortable and practical, as many of our guests prefer simplicity over extravagance. -One of the rooms has a window that opens but may require some care when closing. However, it remains functional. Each room with a window has at least one that is operational, providing a comfortable cross-breeze throughout the house. Our goal is to address this promptly to enhance the comfort and satisfaction of all future guests. -Our cleaning team inspected the freezer at the beginning of September and did not observe any issues with ice at that time. This is the first instance in which a concern about the freezer has been brought to our attention. -Additionally, there is an ice machine available in the house, and it is common for guests to place ice they have made into one of the freezer drawers. We have instructed our cleaning team to regularly check the freezer during each cleaning to ensure everything is in order. We're happy to hear that your overall experience during your stay was enjoyable. We do all we can to ensure the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.

Multi-family Perfection

We really loved our stay here. We had five families represented (15 bodies), and each room had plenty of space for us. Plus the house was large enough that it didn’t feel like we were on top of each other the whole time. Location was perfect with Tunnel Park so close for beach time and nightly sunset views. The house had everything we needed too. Upstairs did get warm like others have said but we did fine. Front porch and fire pit were extra perks too. We would 100% stay again!
