Bienvenue dans notre cottage néerlandais propre au bord du lac Macatawa. Il est situé dans la zone de villégiature de Holland State Park, où vous pourrez profiter d'activités telles que la marche, la randonnée, la course, le vélo, les bains de soleil, la fabrication de châteaux de sable, la natation, le canotage ou la location de jet-skis. Conduisez jusqu'à l'entrée du parc, qui est à moins d'un mile de distance et vous pouvez regarder le bateau le long du canal Holland State Park et marcher sur la magnifique plage de sable blanc pendant des miles!

Notre Macatawa Lake Side Cottage est parfait pour 1 famille ou plus. En fait, ce serait formidable pour une réunion de famille ou tout autre groupe plus important et si plus d'hébergements étaient nécessaires, vous pourriez combiner notre Macatawa Lake View Cottage qui est juste à côté (# 418838) et réunir tout le monde.

Notre chalet dispose de 4 chambres et 3 1/2 salles de bains, avec 2 canapés-lits supplémentaires pour plus de possibilités de couchage. Il dispose de toutes les commodités pour rendre votre séjour facile et agréable: lave-vaisselle, laveuse / sécheuse et une terrasse arrière privée / patio avec une vue exceptionnelle sur le lac Macatawa, en particulier depuis la terrasse du deuxième étage ou à la fin du quai permanent. Il y a aussi beaucoup de parking pour vos invités, et un garage à 2 stalles pour votre voiture et des articles «supplémentaires». Nous fournissons quelques vélos pour votre usage ou si vous préférez, la location de vélos est disponible à quelques pâtés de maisons du chalet. Les enfants s'amuseront à creuser dans le sable ou à lancer une balle sur notre plage privée d'association de plus de 300 pieds, située de chaque côté du chalet. Faites des feux de camp et des guimauves rôties à la plage et revenez à votre chalet lorsque vous avez terminé.

Wonderful get away on lake

My family had a wonderful time in this home with wonderful lake views. It was winter so we could not use the beach, pier etc. but the view and location were great. The working fireplace was very nice for the winter as was the attached garage.

We rented both of Harriet’a houses for a family wedding. Liked having everyone right next door to each other.

Overall very nice

Overall very nice and clean. Wonderful views overlooking the water. The owner was quick to reply to any questions we had. We enjoyed using the fire pit and sandbox. We were a little frustrated that the screen doors on the porch didn't work at all so we weren't able to have any fresh air without letting all the flies in. Also, the lights on the porch didn't work so we wound up eating mostly in the dark. However, we were pleasantly surprised that there was another table and chairs on the porch for dining, which had not been pictured.

Could be something really great

What a beautiful location and great potential for this property. With some additional deep cleaning and maintenance would really help. All the doors were unlocked when we arrived, didn’t feel the safest. With paying a cleaning fee, it was a bit of a shock all the requests expected of us as guests. Beautiful location and easy access to everything you want in Holland.

Experience the water wonderland, Michigan!

We were a group of 60-70 year old siblings. The location of this rental could not be more lovely! It is right on Lake Macatawa with great places to sit and view it- the outside deck or glassed in sunroom. Because of great weather, we were outside until dark. Each day some of us took the mile walk to Holland State Park, walked down the pier, down the beach, watched boats come in the canal and so forth. The house is older but very clean and the bedrooms & bathrooms are large and comfortable. Everyone left saying we need to come again! If you come with children not sure where they would swim. Does seem to be a couple small public places with some sand a short ways from the property.

Awesome backyard!

The house was located in an amazing location right next to a state park. We walked over to the park and hiked a few of the trails. Also very close and convenient to downtown Holland. The backyard was the absolute best hangout spot. Plenty of tables and comfortable seating for everyone. And the backyard is so private! Just one neighbor next to use, but the mature trees blocked our view of them. I would highly recommend this house, especially if you like the outdoors!

I recently stayed at this gorgeous property and was not disappointed! The backyard and view were my favorite part. It was so peaceful. The house itself was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed plus more. I would definitely stay here again!

Million dollar view from enormous patio and covered porch and most rooms in the house.

We had three generations spending a week together and could not have been happier with our house choice. The lake view is stunning and the yard is large and beautiful (we brought spike ball, could have also fit our corn hole set). There was something for everyone to do from the house or within walking distance (huge gorgeous well kept beach, biking, swimming, fishing, beautiful miles long beach walking, paddle boarding, jet skiing, restaurants, ice cream) and plenty more a short drive away (pickleball, shopping, city concert, Saugatuck shops). It was our first time staying in Holland and everyone in our group has requested we return next summer. Bedrooms are large and have room for inflatable mattresses in master and bunk room if needed for lots of singles in your group. The living room is not huge and no longer has a pull out but we didn’t have any issues with that because everyone wanted to be on the screened porch or patio all their waking hours and those offered multiple dining/games table and a variety of seating options. The furniture was in great shape (some seemed brand new like the reclining living room set). The main floor queen bed could use a new mattress, it’s quite soft (some may prefer that), but all others were good and everyone enjoyed having dressers and tables in their bedrooms for a comfortable stay. This has been the best fit for our group with a variety of interests, I highly recommend it!

Beautiful location

Beautifully located at the lake front and close to downtown Holland. The house is old but clean. Please note, there is no dining room inside the house. The small kitchen table can seat 5-6. So if you have a larger party and want to eat a meal inside, you won’t have a place to sit. Communicating with the host was easy. The bedrooms and bathrooms are nice size.

Waterfront getaway. Not quite as expected.

We loved Holland MI. We have visited before and in our retirement years we looked forward coming to the Tulip Festival. Our vacation rental was right in the mix of things.The pictures made it look very appealing.There are some good things about the place, but the big issue of the home was the deferred maintenance that we discovered. From no window screens on the upstairs windows to blinds that were broken, or missing, in the bedrooms. We had to use a spare blanket for privacy. And that is just the start. The garage was dirty with cobwebs hanging from the ceiling. The arm of the sectional sofa in the enclosed porch was badly stained. A spare comforter was stained to a point that a cleaning probably wouldn't help. We placed it, with the sheets, in the laundry area but it probably should be pitched. We spent very little time in the house because of condition. The clean-up list in the binder was quite insulting. It included requests that we mop floors, vacuum, scour tub, toilet and sink. And that is not all. She requested we empty wastebaskets into a container in the garage (which did not exist). There is much more we could have noted, but won't. We paid a healthy cleaning fee for all this. We were guests not the cleaning crew. This could be a great place to stay, and for the healthy rate we paid, it should have been way better. Too bad.

Fun Thanksgiving with Family and Friends

Harriet’s home on Lake Macatawa was ideal for our two families. Each couple had their own room and we had a boys room and a girls room. We cooked our Thanksgiving day meal and enjoyed eating on the three seasons porch. Even though our stay was in November, the kids played in the sand w/provided toys, the fished off the dock (caught two perch!), we had a lovely bonfire by the lake, and even walked to the beach several times during our stay! Everything worked as it should and Harriet was excellent at communicating. Thank you for helping us make wonderful memories!

Wonderful lakefront home with easy access to Holland

We had a great time. Check in was easy, and the house was just as described! We enjoyed beautiful sunrises over the water. The walking paths near by made for an easy walk to Lake Michigan.

Great location, house in need of updates

The heat wasn’t working and the property manager didn’t return our call. After we found the electric box we figured out it was a couple of switches. The master bedroom still did not warm up. The carpeting in the two downstairs bedrooms was damp. I’m not sure if the carpeting had been shampooed and was still wet (that’s what I was hoping). I inquired with the property manager and didn’t receive a reply. Overall, the waterfront location would’ve been fun in the summer, but the house itself needs some updating.
