Two bedrooms, Two full bathrooms, a kitchen with all cooking utensils and essentials, a covered back deck and BBQ area. This place has everything you need to make yourself at home and enjoy life near the beach or whatever excursion may attract you on Vancouver Island!

Please note: if your stay falls on a collection day we may ask you to pull garbage, recycling, or food waste bins to the curb outside during your stay (usually a Wednesday or Friday) we will reach out to you beforehand.

Incredible place

We stayed for a 2 week visit in November 2024. The facility was extremely clean and immaculate! The pictures don't do it justice. Check in was very easy. And this place is also about location, location, location. You will be hard pressed to find a better location in Parksville. If you did not want a car for your stay, this is the place to be; everything is within walking distance. While we had a car to visit places outside of Parksville, we never needed it within town and put a lot of miles on our shoes. You will be very happy staying here.

Great house

Very clean and the kitchen is well stocked. Nice outdoor space. Rooms were a little stuffy and the fans provided were just too loud. But great overall.

Everything you could ask for!

Paul and Jasmine clearly care about all the details. Everything from the decor to the extras are well thought out. This house has it all, soap, shampoo, hair dryers, air purifiers, fans, bbq, etc are all there. The huge shower has 3 heads, there is a tap above the stove top, everything is clean and modern. The location is great as it’s right across from the grocery store and walking distance from the beach. It is kitty corner from Orca Place so having an alarm is great. We highly recommend this place!

Perfect location and stay for families

We very much enjoyed our stay at Paul’s place. It’s been completely remodeled on the inside with brand new finishes and appliances, and was super clean and bright. We enjoyed having lots of TVs, laundry, a full kitchen and bbq area, beautiful bathrooms and lots of space to hang out. Very easy to feed and entertain our 2 year old. Across the street from the grocery and liquor store, and a five min walk to the coolest playground/splash park I’ve ever seen. That kept our toddler very happy for the entire week. One portable AC in the kitchen that could probably use a buddy on the opposite end of the house. On hotter afternoons we could get a nice cross breeze going with the windows open, though. The bushes could use a little snip! I kept getting whacked by the plants when I walked to the back. Lovely stay. We would definitely come again. Thanks Paul!

Summer House

Excellent location by shops and fairly close to the beach. The interior of the house was quite spacious and the space was exactly what was needed. TVs in every bedroom, and recently renovated. The deck is fairly nice too. The only aspect lacking was air conditioning. There is one portable air conditioner available to be set up for the entire house, and the designated location for the air conditioner is at the opposite end of the house from the bedrooms. This meant we needed to always have the bedroom doors open to cool the rooms. Even with running the AC full blast all day and night, the primary bedroom was 25 degrees at midnight.

Great location

We had a great weekend at the Summer House. We enjoyed walking to the beach, making great meals and sleeping in the comfortable beds. Everything was clean and the host’s response to our questions was very prompt.

Spring in Parksville

The inside of the house has been completely updated and is very nice. The front deck gets the morning sun and the back deck afternoon sun so it is perfect for enjoying the decks. The location is great for access to local shops and restaurants and the beach. It is on a fairly busy street but that is the trade off for being able to walk to so many places. The yard was needing some TLC but perhaps that is because we were there in April. Overall, we really enjoyed the property and would stay there again.

Awesome place.

Summer House in the Spring

Beautiful house with all the necessities. Close to the beach and restaurants. We had a great stay and found communications with the owners fast and easy. Definitely recommend if you are needing a place to stay in Parksville.

Lovely spring break family vacation

This was such a clean, warm and inviting home to walk into. The pictures do it justice and all was as described. We came with our two 16 yr olds and 12 yr old for some time away to explore the beach and surrounding nature. Everyone was super impressed with the home: everything that was thoughtfully included (extra bedding/towels/spices/vinegars, etc) and the many luxurious extras (the bathrooms are way nicer than ours!). We really enjoyed daily walks to the beach (5 mins), grabbing food from the grocery store across the road, checking out the many stores surrounding. We brought bikes and accessed the trails easily too! Such a great location for ease of walking and being close to all you need. Thank you to the hosts for their clear instructions and prompt communication. Your home is lovely.

Perfect Parksville place

Wonderful!

The interior photos in the property description do not do this place justice! It’s very spacious and comfortable throughout. The design is very functional as well. Once the landscaping and deck area are completed, it will be a gem. The lack of live TV for us sporting enthusiasts was a little tough to take however!

Perfect Parksville stay

The house is very well kept and in a central location. Loved being able to walk to the beach and gricery store. The host went above and beyond to help us out with some items we left behind. Very responsive.

Parksville interlude

Apart from the initial glitch over the pass code, the property met or exceeded our expectations. Clean, well-laid out, well furnished-- but does communication with the proprietor have to be delayed until the day we arrive and leave us standing outside for an hour with an entry code that doesn't work?

Feels like home

Our family enjoyed our stay and really did not want to leave by the end of it. The house is centrally located and is near Thrifty Foods and many local establishments. We basically walked around the area without needing the use of our vehicle. Driving to Coombs Country Market, Englishman river and Riptide Lagoon Golf did not feel very far either. The house itself is beautifully decorated and felt like a country home. The place was very clean and the beds were super comfortable. Even the sofa bed got approval by my teenage son, who said it did not have the usually squeaky spring noises. We had everything we needed and it felt like home. We would definitely return for another stay if the opportunity comes our way.

The place was nicely updated. Location was perfect for wondering around shops and close for walks to the beach. Only con was the bbq was not clean and the brush for cleaning was really gross. We purchased a bbq brush and cleaned the bbq before and after use. Suggestion is to have a few bbq cleaning brushes and bbq cleaning product.

Great Parksville Place

This location is one of those rare finds that is even better than the pictures! Beautifully put together and very comfortable. What a great location, close to shopping , groceries, and cafes!

Summer Getaway

Once we got access, the house was quite lovely. All we needed was there and the location was quite nice with access to whatever we needed in walking distance. The public beach was walking distance and seemed to always have a range of things happening there. IT was a great week away for the whole family.

Great location

The house is a couple minute walk to the main beach/playground, there is a grocery store right across the street. The street is a bit noisy at night and as there is no air conditioning, sleeping was a bit tough when it was hot at night (had to choose street noise or stuffy room). The back deck and bbq are fantastic, rooms and general space are great. Everything was very clean. We had a fantastic stay!

Great getaway

This house was absolutely stunning, the pictures gave us an idea of what we were getting but the house was so much more. A huge living/dining area and a lovely gourmet kitchen. The master bedroom and ensuite were huge, with king bed and walk in shower. The second bedroom had a queen bed. All the beds were super comfortable. The main bathroom had a cosy, big tub for soaking. The big draw for us was the proximity to the Community Beach - a five minute walk. We loaded up the wagon, walked down and didn’t have to worry about parking at all. We will definitely be booking this house again when we return to Parksville. Thank you Paul for providing such a lovely home away from home!
