We, a family of 3 generations lijed this property very much. Tje house was well equipped, clean and spacious with a lovely pool, about 20 minute walk from a beutiful beach. Calm neighbourhood, great setting. Beach chairs and umbrellas where available. We loved it!
The peace and tranquility of a private pool in the full sun every day, was in itself defining of the overall stay, cleanliness in every aspect, and prompt attention to minor issues. Thank You for opening your cherished home to us in confidence without knowing us God Bless upon you in all ways.
We were impressed with the house from the moment we opened its door. Clean, roomy inside and with a beautiful and comfortable back yard with pretty views of Marco Island sunsets. We could not be happier for having chosen this house. From the comfortable rooms to the perfect location, close to Marco's History Museum and Mackle Park everything here will make its guests very grateful for spending their vacation days on this spot.
The house was exactly as described in the listing. Somewhat dated, but spacious and very comfortable. The pool area was great although patio furniture cushions could use replacement. Horizon was very responsive to any issues and made check in and check out smooth and convenient. The lagoon dock needs some maintenance/ updating. The location was less than 2 miles from the beach and near a nice park, museum and library. Overall, we loved the house.
For the price it was acceptable. To get a three bedroom home with a pool on the canal would usually cost a lot more than we paid. The main reason for the lower price is very dated furniture, and a house that could use some major updates. However, there was a cool feeling to the house, it was like you got dropped into a 1970s, grandmaâs Florida home with all types of very unique sculptures, books, records, paintings. That made it pretty cool for adults, but a little bit of a nightmare with little children. The kids were able to catch fish off the dock, which was nice and it was fun swimming in the heated pool. Quick drive down to the beach and able to park at the Horizon Rental right across from the beach access was very convenient. There is a big park nearby where we got to throw the football and the little ones got to play on a super cool play-set that was massive. My biggest complaint is there is only a double bed in the master bedroom. It definitely needs a bigger bed in there. It was uncomfortable in such a small bed. Overall, we had a great time and it was very relaxing and worth the price.
