Disappointed

We had an issue the day after we got to the house and while it was handled fairly quickly, we were not satisfied with the compensation. We were there solely to attend and be a part of a family wedding. The day after we arrived, while showering for the first time, both bathrooms were not useable. Both toilets and bathtubs / showers backed up with sewage. The master shower was overflowing sewage inti the floor. While the property manage got a plumber there that night The rest of the family was not able to shower for a wedding that was our sole purpose of being in Florida. The property management company would only reimburse $113 which we feel is not adequate given the circumstances. Especially since they did not have anyone come to clean the soiled towels, bath mat and soiled floors that were soiled with sewage! So we had to handle and clean that disgusting mess. We felt one full night reimbursement was more appropriate but they advised the owner only would allow $113. Again we just don’t feel what they offered was adequate given the circumstances

Unforeseen issues but overall enjoyable stay.

Communication with the house manager started off very poorly where I had to actually contact the owner of the property to get the host to reply to me with check in information. Once we arrived at the property we noticed that the rugs had not been cleaned, two of the 4 beds seemed like the sheets were not washed, and the master sheets were ripped. On our second night at the house, we had major plumbing issues that made us want to leave, however, the host responded quickly to this issue and got someone there the next morning, and the cleaners there later that day. We were still down one bathroom for 18 hours with no offer of a refund or credit for the day from the host. I would recommend that the owner replace the furniture in the front room that is clearly warn, and repair the loose or missing towel racks. Overall, despite the issues, we enjoyed our stay. Just having the pool and the outside area made this worth the stay.

Excellent stay!

My family of four stayed here for four nights. We came to take in a couple Blue Jays spring training games and a Lightning nhl game. Perfect location! Very safe. This property was just like the pictures. It had everything we needed. We will definitely be back!!!

Very nice house large and spacious.the property manager was always available and if we were missing something it was delivered to us The neighbour hood was very quiet and we really enjoyed our stay!

Christmas vacation

We booked easily. Communication with the home owner was instant. Wonderful, quiet location with streets to walk, amenities minutes away, convenient shower supplies, coffee and tea complimentary. Will for sure book here again as it’s close to my son and his girlfriend. Very clean house and washer and dryer accessible.

Cleaning

The house overall was ok but the house needs to be thoroughly deep clean. When we arrive there was pop ice bag on the floor that had melted and stuck to the floor and the house was not clean and dust behind the beds was so thick had my allergies going crazy. This would be a great house if it was updated and clean.

Well equipped

Home was clean and well equipped. The pool was a disappointment as the neighbour’s tree was in bloom and the pool is not screened. Pool equipment was unable to keep up with the volume of leaves and debris that was falling. This would not be a problem in summer but in spring and fall it is unusable.

Beautiful/quiet/clean

First let me say that the pictures don't compare to seeing it in person. The home was beautifully decorated and very clean. This was a birthday celebration for my daughter and a much needed vacation for the rest of us. We enjoyed everything about the house. The pool was nice and refreshing (minus the bugs who kept trying to swim with us). Only minor thing I would say is to note how deep the pool is. We were so caught off guard. But it didn't stop us from enjoying it.

Lovely Home!!

This home served my friends and I well. The flow of the home was perfect. The kitchen could use some newer items like blender and drinking cups. A couple cups were cracked and not useable. The 4 bedrooms were perfect for us however second shower had some sort of water saver and there was some complaints about that. The pool was beautiful but struggled to keep up with the leaves from the neighbor’s tree but the owner was helpful assisting us with how to get the vacuum to work. The owner did allow us early entry which we appreciated very much and there were nice soft sheets and plenty of towels. I would suggest some beach chairs to take to the beach because if for some reason the beach attendants are closed you have no ability to have seating at the beach. This of course is just a suggestion..Thank you for having us.

Clean, well equipped. Pool was a disappointment. Not covered and neighbours tree was in bloom with so many leaves falling that the skimmer and crawler could not keep up.

great place

I would stay at this property again. We had plenty of room and the kitchen was well stocked. Check in isn't until 4:00 and it was still being cleaned when we got there, but the manager was doing her best to let us get in as quickly as possible and it was clean. Directions for the TV would have been very helpful.

Great location!

House was clean overall, could have been cleaned better in bathrooms and hair on carpet etc. kitchen was well stocked! Location is great! We did have a canceled flight due to a snow storm not allowing us to get there the first night we had booked and the owner of the property would not allow a refund for that night.

Beautiful Clearwater Rental

Loved our stay in Clearwater! House is beautiful, fully stocked and very spacious. The screened in porch is so nice for outdoor dining and the pool is beautiful. Easy access to all the sights in Clearwater! We enjoyed a visit to the aquarium, Honeymoon Island and downtown Dunedin. Thank you Catherine for a great stay!
