Cooinda is a commanding home with spectacular ocean views from both levels. There is a living area, bathroom, and large entertaining deck on each level.

Downstairs has a kitchenette in addition to the granite kitchen with dishwasher upstairs. Cooinda is ideal for the extended family, or in off peak periods book upstairs only as great holiday destination for a couple or small family. There is a garage ideal for storing boards or bikes and the kitchen features a dishwasher to make your break that little bit easier.

Please note: Personal linen is not provided and guests will need to bring their own sheets, towels & pillowcases. If you would like to hire linen, this can be provided at an additional cost.

Perfect stay!

Only down side was lots of dead ants inside the downstairs area of the house in the corners.

I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: the view from the terrace is wonderful, the location is very good, but the equipment is not well maintained, there was even no coffee maker. there is a problem with ants on the lower floor. thousands of dead ants lay in the corners.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Have stayed in this house for the last few years and definitely needs an overhaul! I mentioned all of this last year but nothing had changed. The pillows are disgusting, the lounge is so full of sand we bring extra sheets to cover it , we won’t sit on it. The joke last year was the BBQ brush cleaner without 1 bristle on it, same one there this year!!The cooking pans are horrible and need binning. I would strongly suggest going to Kempsey Big W and spending a little bit of the rent to replace necessities. The tv system is great and the view is fabulous but the general maintenance is dreadful

Excellent exercise with hill climbing each day. Well equipped kitchen with a variety of sleeping spaces. Both bathrooms great. Deck was wonderful and we spent many hours on both upper and lower deck.

Great destination, tired house

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We've stayed at Cooinda for 10 consecutive years. Cooinda is perfectly positioned; it has an unobstructed ocean view from a large and spacious balcony, and is easy walking distance to the town centre. There's parking for 2-3 vehicles, and plenty of space upstairs and down for families. However, the house is very tired. There's been very limited maintenance on the property over 10 years. It's never particularly clean. The floors are always in need of a proper vacuum and mopping. The blankets don't seem to be washed from one year to the next. The rental info requests cleaning the bbq before leaving but there's literally nothing there to clean it with. There are no basic supplies ... no bin bags, no S&P, and in the last couple of years not even a spare toilet roll. We love staying at Cooinda, but feel it needs some love. The tariff warrants including some basic items for guests (handwash, bin bags, cleaning items, dishwashing powder, cooking oil, S&P etc), plus a good clean of the house and bedding. 4 stars overall because of location but 2 stars for amenity.

Spectacular Views

We had a lovely Easter weekend at Cooinda. There were 9 of us and we found the house super comfy with heaps of room. The views across the ocean are spectacular and we loved eating, chatting and relaxing on the verandah. We enjoyed watching DVDs provided at night - great selection. It's a really quick walk down to the beach and good exercise coming back up the hill! Will definitely come back :)
