FAMILY HOLIDAY HOME

Lorikeet Retreat is a spacious 2 level family holiday home purpose built as a holiday beach house only a short walk to cafes, shops, beach, tavern and Country Club with fabulous ocean views from the top floor. 

The fully equipped kitchen included will make your holiday entertaining a breeze which flows out to the under cover entertaining area with gas BBQ. The spacious living area includes TV, Foxtel and DVD player with amazing ocean outlook and sea breezes.

Travel light as the property has a fully equiped laundry with washing machine and 2nd shower and toilet.

The garage can be utilised as an extra child-play area or surf board storage. 

This property has a lovely garden area that attracts native birdlife.

Please note: Personal linen is not provided and guests will need to bring their own sheets, towels and pillowcases. If you would like to hire linen, this can be provided at an additional cost.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We are regular visitors to Crescent Head. This was our 2nd stay at the house and will be back next year. Handy location. Clean and tidy home with the essentials which suits our families needs. Few little maintenance jobs which we advised the agent of for future fixing - nothing that impacted on our stay.

Reviewer Comments: We were told 6wks prior to our regular holiday that our usual property was suddenly unavailable, so we searched for an alternative and we found Lorikeet. It was ideal for our family!! Everything was clean and tidy, space for boards/bikes etc and within our budget. Beds were comfy, bathrooms clean and functional and a lovely outlook over Crescent.Little bit further walk to the water than we are used too but it’s fine. The staff at Elders have been lovely to deal with. So good we will be staying again.

Cool retro beach house with amazing ocean views - nice little back deck and most needs supplied. Would come back if full foxtel and wifi were installed. Extremely limited foxtel so had to use our own streaming with terrible results - rained entire stay so this is important for those situations. Fridge seal not working so had to chock the fridge shut once we turned it on. Owners will probably have this fixed before next people stay, we imagine.

Downstairs deck perfect for soaking up the sun with the bbq and outdoor lounge chairs. Minimal parking would be the only downfall for an otherwise ideal getaway spot

Great verandah

The highlight of lorikeet retreat is the covered large verandah with a view, where our family spent most of our time. We have stayed in this house many times and love the beach cottage ambiance and ample space for our family of 6 adults. We were pleasantly surprised this time to see the recent improvements made to the property. Our only suggestion to the owners is that we would strongly recommend that the mattresses on the beds be updated.
