We had a wonderful week at this lovely and spacious home. The Schroon Lake area has a lot to offer. A few short drives away, we went River Rafting and a few of us also went zip lining. Nights around the fire pit were a family favorite.

Wonderfully unique!

It was perfect for our family of ten. Close to town and loved access to the lake and umbrella and chairs on site. Loved Cornhole in the yard. We made some great memories there.

Schroon Lake Farmhouse

Great property. We had a group of four fishermen there for 7 nights. We cooked breakfast and dinner (6 nights). Kitchen was great. The old Farmhouse has been tastefully updated and furnished and was very spacious and comfortable. If ever back in this area would definitely stay again.

Very ice time there. House was very comfy and roomy!!! Liked it very much!!! Access to association beach is fantastic. They provide chairs and umbrellas! most times there we had it all to ourself!!!!

Great location and size but not clean

This property could be amazing but it desperately needs many repairs and updating. The kitchen had open food in it, mice, and was not clean. The bathrooms were very dirty also. Many things were broken (chairs, fans, towel racks, lights, etc) and the Wifi didn’t work.

Hi Sarah, the homeowners were surprised to read your review and would like to clarify the following: - We carried out a walk-through of our home that morning. The kitchen and each of the bathrooms were clean. If sugar and flour in the kitchen cabinet equate to “open food” – then this is true. - Our home was built in the 1830s, but we take pride in making sure that if something breaks that we fix it as soon as we possibly can. - When we learned that the wi-fi was not working (Saturday afternoon) we got on the phone with you and the internet provider Sunday morning. Although admittedly not a strong signal (we’re in the Adirondacks!) but the Wi-Fi was fixed. We strive to maintain our property such that our guests will have an enjoyable stay!

This was a great place for our family + friends to gather. Super clean. Comfortable bedding. Well stocked kitchen with pantry necessities/flatware/cookware. This home had many extras we were not expecting. A lovely firepit with seating for 8 w/tiki torches, manicured grounds/landscaping, ping pong table, subscription TVs, multitude of board games, books. The private beach was sandy, w/ umbrellas + beach chairs, and lovely beach association members. We even were able to keep our Adirondack guide boat at the beach. Everything felt safe. Tracy + Sean were completely accessible for any questions we might have. Highly recommend!

Quiet and Spacious

We stayed with another family, and the group totaled 4 adults and 6 kids ages 5 and under. There was ample space for everyone to sleep, play, and relax without feeling cramped. The window a/c units kept everything perfectly cool in the late August heat. We loved the lake beach that was a short walk away. We also enjoyed some of the shops in town (a short drive and also walkable) and hiked Severance Mountain one day. It was a great getaway to reconnect with friends.

Schroon Lake celebration

What a fantastic week we had at the Farmhouse. Everything we needed was available. We had dinners on the porch, played games in the dining room, and enjoyed our time on the porch. Playing corn hole and ping pong was a treat. Being able to access the beach was wonderful. Thank you for the friendly touches. Appreciated candles and neat soaps! Frenay/Modisher family. What a great 50th anniversary celebration with our whole familyl. Thank you

Charming house!

We had a wonderful week at the Schroon Lake Farmhouse! Short walk to Skylark Beach which was perfect for our group. The house was clean and spacious and we really enjoyed our time there. The back porch was great for family dinners and the front porch was super relaxing with views of the lake. We had lots of fun playing ping pong in the garage and enjoyed the evenings by the fire pit. The hosts were very thoughtful and accommodating. We would definitely book again!

Great family vacation home

Our family had a great vacation at Schroon Lake Farmhouse. The house was much bigger than we anticipated. We vacationed with our children and "grandteen's". This house has two nice sized living rooms big dining room nicely equipped kitchen. The big wrap around porch was a great place to escape the busy activity in the house.. Even with 10 of us in the house we frequently had to look for each other. The history of the house is fascinating Short walk to beach was not an issue for our family. Even with 3 rain days we had plenty to do....ping pong and corn hole in the garage was the cure for teen boredom.
