The home is lovely and suited our needs well. The deck is spacious, and you can see the lake through the trees. We loved the updated bathrooms and the open floor plan. Prospective renters should be aware that despite the mention of lakefront in the listing, this property is NOT lakefront. The lake is down the hill and across the road. The listing indicated that there would be kayaks for our use, but those were not present. We walked down the hill and across the road to see the lake, where we found a sign indicating no renters were welcome. So the property actually has no lake access. The lakefront photos in the ad were taken a short drive down the road at the visitor's center.

This was a great place for our annual friend get away! It was cozy, clean, and the hot tub is a bonus (especially in the fall(. We had all the cooking equipment we needed to cook and eat during our 3 days. There are some great trails for hiking nearby. We highly recommend!

We stayed for the Thanksgiving holiday and had a wonderful time. There was plenty of space for our family and the views were incredible. The only downfall was that it was very cold on the first floor, even with the stove on. We loved using the hot tub! We had no major issues and enjoyed our stay very much.

There is a single unit and electric baseboard heat and if you have both on you would be sweating even if it's negative windchill outside! I wish you had messaged us during your stay and inquired

Winter Getaway

Every year a few couples get together after the holidays without the kids. This place worked out great. Lot of room to socialize, beds were very comfortable and great views of the lake.

I have no words to express how we felt about staying at this cabin. We didn't want to leave. Beautiful scenery. So peaceful and relaxing. Definitely would stay there again. The owner is very kind.

Great Getaway!

This property was beautiful! It had the perfect balance of log cabin vs. modern vibes. There were more than enough rooms/beds for all the guest with amazing amenities. While it is a 30 minute drive to the nearest town/city, the views of the lake are beautiful. The property manager was available for any questions/concerns was was very accommodating. I would highly recommend this property!

Memorable stay

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful lake view cabin. Ample bedding choices, fully stocked kitchen and 2 full renovated bathrooms provided all the amenities required by our group of two families. The hot tub and fire pit added to the experience. Communication with the owner was easy and quick. Shawn was gracious enough to accomodate our late check out request.

Great cabin house that was very clean and close by the lake. The only issue we had was the main kitchen refrigerator is not properly working. It does not stay cool enough to preserve food.

Unfortunately, this stay fell well below expectations, especially for the price.The host called the day of check-in to say a generator would be installed the next day but assured me it wouldn't disrupt our stay or require anyone inside. After arriving after 12:30 a.m. and going to bed after 2:30, we were awakened at 8:30 by installers banging on the door because they DID need access to the electrical panel and needed to shut off power for 1.5–2 hours. With an all-electric kitchen and two toddlers to feed, we had to coordinate breakfast around the outage. Thankfully, the installers were accommodating.That alone wouldn't have cost a star. The cleanliness did. The house was surface-clean at best, with cobwebs and large spiders throughout. The screened porch/hot tub area wasn't maintained well enough to use, the first floor had no heat, and the kitchen's ONE sponge was used, stained and smelly.The final straw came at checkout. I stripped our bed and the bed beside it, where our toddlers slept the first night. Under the sheet, tucked in the corner, was a rolled-up pair of USED UNDERWEAR. Absolutely disgusting and left us questioning whether the sheets are changed between guests at all.Other misses: no toiletries, no useful house/area guide, and checkout instructions posted inside that contradicted the host's texts.For the price, I expected much better cleanliness, maintenance and communication.

Cozy and relaxing for a winter stay!

Great layout for a hanging out! The teens enjoyed the first floor living room, while the adults gathered upstairs. There were nine of us and we had plenty of space.Nice view of the lake from both levels and the hot tub was a fun bonus. We would love to find time to visit again in the summer too!

Wonderful cabin with access to Lake George

I stayed for a long weekend with 6 friends. The space was perfect for relaxing and was a quick walk to Lake George just across the street. The large table and outdoor seating were perfect for our group. The house is a short drive to Hague or Bolton Landing where there are restaurants and shops, and we found lots of great hiking options nearby. We can't wait to come back again in the future!

Great time in Lake George

The house is very comfortable and it has all the amenities we needed. Neighbors are very friendly and access to the community beach is great. The house was clean. The hot tub was a pleasant surprise given that we had a cold rainy day. We will be back.

Great for triathlon, remote getaway, and coworking

The house was the perfect size for our group of eight - we certainly could have fit more, but it made for a comfortable stop with close by access to the lake and hiking. We came primarily for the Ticonderoga triathlon and to reunite as friends; was quite close for our race start. Temperatures were great in June and the AC worked well. Definitely loved the hot tub after the chill of the lake!

Seems to be to many rules at the "lake," neighbors did not make us feel welcome when we went there. The house was awesome and very clean, and we did enjoy ourselves. Shawn was very pleasant to deal with.

Very pleasant stay

We were a group of 8 and stayed for 3 days. Location: Was great. Able to cover fall foliage in Adirondacks and VT. House: it is just 2 bathrooms. Wish there was another. House was clean. Used kitchen on all 3 days. Adequate plates n utensils. Could use a new set of pots n pans. Enjoyed staying there.

Lake George 2024 family vacation

The cozy cabin was a great place for 2 families to stay, we had 4 adults and 3 kids under the age of 10. Everything was wonderful we enjoyed our stay for sure. Just a few suggestions, there are NO dressers or use of closets so prepare to live out of a luggage; this was challenging especially with kids. The loft area up top is just way to hot to use in the summer, so don't plan to utilize the beds up top unless you bring fans to circulate the air. Aside from that our Lake George 2024 vacation was amazing.

We wanted to let you know that we've since added dressers to the cabin to make unpacking and organizing easier for future guests. We're also looking into solutions to better cool the loft area during the warmer months. Installing a new window so we can put an Ac unit up there. Your suggestions help us improve, and we hope you'll consider staying with us again for your next Lake George vacation!
