We had a great time. Lovely views from the deck, lots of nice touches (bonfire, beach towels and chairs to use, etc.), a well equipped kitchen, good AC, a clean place, and a convenient 5 min drive from Hague Town Beach.
We had a wonderful week at this home! The view of Lake George is spectacular! Loved waking up & enjoying a cup of coffee on the spacious deck while "taking in" the lake. The property is conveniently located near a public beach to enjoy the lake. You can get all your groceries/supplies at the Walmart in Ticonderoga(just a 10 min drive) or go to the Hague Market(5 min drive) for quick supplies(their breakfast sandwiches are awesome!). Mark, the owner, was easy to communicate with from the moment we booked the property. Highly recommend!
We really enjoyed our stay. The property was just perfect for our two families; 4 adults and 3 kids. And to top it all off, there was a great view of the lake!
It was an amazing experience living in this cottage.
This vacation rental is located at a great location with a beautiful view of the lake from the kitchen and family room. Itâs very close to the beach and boat rental places.
This was a great house - very clean and rustic. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The location was very private and scenic. I was happy with my time there. I would recommend staying there for a vacation on Lake George!!
This was our second stay at this house - and we love the property. The location is perfect - nothern Lake George where it is quiet, yet convenient to Hague, Bolton Landing and Ticonderoga.. The view from the front deck is a favorite. We were 4 adults - house would also be great for a family.
Everything was perfect. Great location and a beautiful view of the lake. Air Conditioning was especially welcome! Could not have asked for anything better!
We had such a great time during our stay. We had everything that we needed. The owner checked in from time to time to ensure that all was well. Perfect size for the family, close to stores and restaurants, but far enough away to see some beautiful sites.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mark's place. Mark was exceptionally helpful, especially when the weather conditions were an issue. We loved the area - not far from Ticonderoga or Bolton Landing. Beautiful Lake views made morning coffee on the deck perfect!
Scenic views, location, amenities, WiFi, fire pit, and so much more at this lovely cabin in the woods! We all loved it. Very comfortable mattresses and pillows. Fully stocked kitchen appliances & gadgets, towels, cleaning supplies etc. Brand new fridge & oven/stove. It made for a wonderful stay. The owner, Mark, checked in via text and made sure that everything was fine, and he let us have our space and never intruded. We had 4 generations there and everyone was pleased with the accommodations. I would love to stay here in the fall too. The colors must be fantastic!
Thanks Mark. Iâll be coming back!
We had a wonderful time at Markâs house in mid-August. We were only there a few days but enjoyed it. We rented a boat one day from the good folks at Dockside Landing Marina (ask for Stephanie), had a swim at Rogerâs Rock beach and took a drive down to Bolton Landing. We hit Ft. Ticonderoga as well and soaked up some of the history, while also navigating the corn maze! The house had everything we needed and we were thankful each bedroom had A/C. Iâve rented many houses on VRBO and Mark is definitely the most responsive owner Iâve dealt with, he answered every question promptly and clearly.
We had dinner out one night at the Firehouse, where the food and service were good but a bit overpriced. Wind Chill is great for ice cream or a quick bite.
My mother, who was the primary tenant at the house, said "it was great with a fantastic deck and view!" The house is close to Rogers Rock campground, where a bunch of family members were camping, so the location was perfect! My mom really enjoyed the house, as did others, including two of her great grandchildren.
We had a wonderful time at this property. Three good size bedrooms upstairs. Kitchen had all the appliances we needed. Great new gas grill on front porch. Washer and dryer on 2nd floor was a plus!
My elderly mother has mobility issues so it was difficult for her to walk around outside. She enjoyed the flat front porch.
We were so happy with Hilltop Haven. We had a little hiccup at check-in, which was not the Host's fault, and he took care of things quickly. The house itself was fantastic. Comfortable. Fantastic views. Far enough away from the more touristy areas to be peaceful but close enough to get everywhere we wanted to be. This was our first VRBO experience and it was a great one.
Location for us was perfect and the view of the lake was great. Private road and driveway is steep, but wasnât a problem. Bedrooms were spacious and everything we needed was there. Easy to communicate with Mark and he made sure everything was good
Our host was wonderful and made sure we were set when we checked in. The home was clean, warm and had beautiful views of the lake. I would recommend this as a nice please to stay.
Mark and his property were wonderful. The view from the deck is amazing and great for dinner. Itâs a great location with The Hague public beach just down the road. Ticonderoga is a short drive away for dinner and a tour of the Fort. Communication was great with Mark. Cell service can be limited so save your check in info before you get there. Book this place, itâs great!
The Huestis family has owned this property since the 1950's. George and Ruth Huestis purchased the property which was originally the site of the old 'Indian Kettles Hotel'. The property is directly above the Indian Kettles Restaurant, which has since closed. The Huestis family has been coming up to enjoy Lake George for many generations. My parents bought this property when I was very young and I spent all my summers here. My wife, Linda, and I are now the owners of this property.
This property is located in northern Lake George, which is a much more private and secluded section of Lake George. Many people refer to Hague as "The Jewel of Lake."
This property is unique in that it also has 60-acres of woodlands with a trail leading to the upper reaches of the property which overlook Lake George and borders on NYS Forever Wild land.
