Schroon Lake est une charmante petite communauté remplie d'aventures nichées entre Lake George et Lake Placid. Maison 4 saisons! Schroon offre tout ce que vous voulez et rien que vous n'aimez! Un lac propre et baignable avec une merveilleuse petite plage et une marina pour louer des pontons et des bateaux rapides avec tubing! Tout à Schroon est un peu plus facile que partout ailleurs. Pas de lignes, pas de frais pour se garer à la plage. Juste l'air amical de la montagne!
Le lac Schroon a une ville charmante avec plusieurs restaurants incroyables, une vie nocturne animée, de la musique live tous les soirs, des foires artisanales, de bons cafés, du vélo, des randonnées, un parcours de golf de 9 trous en plein dans la ville. Séjournez à Schroon ou partez pour une excursion d'une journée à Lake Placid où vous pourrez vous arrêter, faire de la randonnée, nager et voir les magnifiques montagnes de l'ADK et le sommet du mont Marci! Ou prenez une journée à Lake George et parasail, manger sur l'eau, aller pour une croisière de feux d'artifice.
Apportez vos gros jouets! Notre maison de 6 acres est littéralement située sur le sentier de motoneige et parcourt des kilomètres et des kilomètres. En été, vous pouvez faire du quad et du dirt bike. En hiver, vous pouvez faire de la motoneige jusqu'à Gore et skier à seulement 20 minutes. Le lac Schroon est connu pour ses carnavals d'hiver et cette ville reste vivante tout l'hiver. Si vous êtes un randonneur, venez à l'automne. Sight découvrez toutes les couleurs ADK et la faune magnifique sur des milliers de kilomètres de sentiers de randonnée et de kayak.
Nous avons notre propre étang isolé sur notre route qui est spectaculaire pour le kayak et la pêche. Notre location vient avec un kayak deux places et un bateau de pêche avec moteur à la traîne. Notre dernier locataire a attrapé plus de 50 poissons en une journée sur notre étang !! C'est vraiment un joyau !!! et la pêche aussi. House a des cannes à pêche, des vélos et des jouets à utiliser. Nous ne pouvons pas attendre que votre famille commence à créer des souvenirs ici!

Perfect spot for a family vacation!

The loose moose lodge was the ideal location for our family getaway! With 7 adults and 5 kids, there was plenty of room for everyone. The location couldn’t have been better with less than a 5 minute drive from Schroon village and the public beach and within 30 minutes to many other local amenities, including Lake George. The host was very responsive and a pleasure to communicate with. Highly recommend!

Mid-week mini vacation with family

This house is PERFECT for a large family vacation! We had seven adults and two dogs and there was plenty of space, every amenity you could ask for, location was perfect, private yet not far from the town. We cannot express what a wonderful vacation we all had together at this house. We are already discussing renting again next year! Thank you for your perfect home!

Great house, great location, great host

If you're looking for a place that is secluded but also close to a quaint town that has everything, this is the place for you. We stayed with six people, but the house could have easily fit double that it was the best place for a relaxing get away. Highlights for us were the quiet surroundings, the game room for the kids, the hot tub for mom, the hike down the road to Horseshoe Pond (where we found an actual horseshoe!) and the 3 minute drive into town to use the beach, go to restaurants, the food store, and even catch a movie in the old movie theater. Truly awesome place!

Lovely stay for the eclipse.

It's a beautiful place, plenty of activities to do around the house and downtown Schroon Lake has plenty of amenities too. We caught the eclipse in the back yard and had a spectacular time the whole weekend. The host was responsive when we had questions and was proactive in getting us the information we needed ahead of time.

Great house close to town

Every year we visit Schroon Lake in October to gather with several of my family members. This house is a great location, close to town, and nicely secluded with lots of trees. It has a large open floor plan, good sized kitchen, and wrap around deck so everyone can spread out. The hot tub was great to relax in, and the fire pit had plenty of chairs for everyone to sit around the fire and make smores! Firewood was provided which was really great. The kids loved the game room. Mattresses and bedding were very comfortable. The carpet on the stairs didn't look freshly cleaned, so I gave cleanliness a 4, but overall this is a really great house!

Great family vacation!

There is lots to do. We ventured out to beach and rented a boat. We had the hot tub, fire pit, lots of games and enjoyed hanging out on the front porch morning, noon and night!

We absolutely loved the property. Everything from the fully stocked kitchen to the hot tub were just perfect. Add in a zip-line for the kids and it was just non stop fun. I could not recommend more and we hope to get back there soon.

Awesome time in Schroon!

Our crew had a great time at this property. The house is about 5 minutes from town so easy to pick up groceries for dinner. The game room downstairs is awesome, plenty of seating/space for a large group, a very comfortable stay for us all. The owner is very friendly and responsive. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The perfect getaway

This chalet is perfect in every aspect, and the host Mary Jane is amazing, she made us feel welcome as soon as our booking was confirmed. Her home was very clean, spacious and beautifully decorated with all the amenities. It felt like home away from home. Highly recommend this amazing property.

We know firsthand what it’s like to raise children, travel with them, and entertain, so we’ve made sure our home is designed to offer an easy, stress-free vacation experience.

Our kitchen is fully stocked with everything you’ll need to cook meals, and we always ensure there are plenty of clean pillows, bedding, extra blankets, and anything else you might need to feel comfortable during your stay.

As your host, I’m always just a call or text away and happy to help with any questions or special arrangements to make your stay perfect!
