We had a fabulous time at Our Happy Place. It is aptly named. The condo was fabulous - everything we needed was there. Our group loved being on the beach and enjoyed the pool. We'll definitely be back.

Our son got married in Nags Head. This was an excellent location for the wedding and a very, very nice place.

Thanksgiving getaway

We had a great time exploring the area and just relaxing. Beautiful and clean condo with very comfortable furniture. Amazing location and very quiet.

Excellent Ocean Front Experience

The unit was very clean, updated furnishings, modern TVs, etc. Everything a family needs to enjoy the beach. Wonderful ocean views from the family room balcony.

excellent condo

Place was super clean and furniture and bedroom were super comfortable. We stayed on bottom floor could still see ocean but next time we’re staying on higher floors. Excellent location for all the spy’s we like to hit. One of the best places we ever stayed in the 20 years coming to OBX. Pool was nice to have our daughter loved it!

I was surprised that the village didn't require the property owners to have a walkway over the dunes to protect them.

Fantastic condo...almost perfect

My boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful, modern condo just steps from the beach. Great location and amenities. We loved being close to the beach and used the pool nearly every day. While we did love our stay, the King size mattress in the main bedroom is unacceptable and needs to be replaced. There are visible indentations and lumps, and you can actually feel the springs in certain spots (and for reference, I'm 5'6 140 lbs and he's 6'1 175 lbs...we are not large people). This was an unfortunate discomfort to an otherwise perfect condo. I also would like to note for future renters that the sectional couch and accent pillows are down feather. While I am allergic, it was not a huge issue because we spent most of our time outdoors :)

Home Away From Home

It is evident that the owners and reality company take care of this property. Very neat and clean! All amenities are updated. Very kid friendly with kids step stool and cutlery/dishes, kids movies and games. Kitchen had all necessary appliances including a croc pot! We have stayed at many places (oceanfront) that have that ocean musty smell-this place did not! Would recommend this location to anyone!

Reviewer Comments: From the moment we walked into our vacation rental, Our Happy Place, we were blown away at how clean and spacious the condo was and of course the view of the ocean just made me fall in love with this place!! Well pretty much everything about Our Happy Place made me fall in love with the place! You could tell the owners took pride in their condo and wanted to provide their guests with a wonderful vacation experience. The kitchen was very well appointed with lots of dishes, glassware, coffee mugs, pots, pans, cutting boards, knives, silverware, pretty much anything you could think up including a wonderful Keurig that brewed a pot or a cup of coffee! Once again I want to mention how clean everything in this condo was! The king bed was so comfortable! Although we did not need any extra pillows or blankets it was nice that there were extras available to use if needed. We did add the linen & towel option to our rental so we didn’t have to bring our own with us and we’re happy we did. It was also nice to have 2 bathrooms. The location was perfect for us! The condo is about 1/2 Mile S of Jeanette’s Pier and 1.5 Miles N of the Outer Banks Fishing Pier. This was the first time we rented through Outer Beaches and we’re also very satisfied with the rental process. The staff was very friendly and attentive to any questions I had. We are already looking forward to our 2023 Mags Head vacation and will definitely be staying in Our Happy Place again.

Beautiful and clean home in a nice location. I

The home is spacious, nicely decorated, has everything you need to make your stay easy, and is in a quiet area away from all the traffic. It made our first trip to the OBX very enjoyable. We loved having our morning coffee on the front deck watching the sun rise over the ocean and watching the sun set on the back deck. It is centrally located for touring the entire outer banks. The beach in the area is wide and very clean. Our experience with Beach Realty was easy and they were helpful and very quick to respond with our one question. We would definitely stay again and use them for our reservation.

Clean and nicely maintained and furnished. Our view from balcony beautiful, our favorite place for morning coffee. I will definitely recommend that place for vacation and hope to return to Nags Head
