Great location, everything you need

Totally enjoyed our stay. Three generations together in one place with room to spare. Everything we needed and super close to Disney. Grounds of Emerald island resort were beautiful.

Great place

This place was perfect for our family of 6. The 2 youngest shared a bedroom. Everything on 1 floor which is convenient. Heated pool was great!! Definitely a highlight of the trip & place. Great location to a lot of restaurants & a Walmart. The price was right so we could spend more $$ at parks. The owner was very accommodating & very nice!!

Needs an update

This house definitely needs to be updated. Lots of paint scratches and scuff marks on the walls, the couches are worn and uncomfortable and we realized after two days that the back door doesn’t latch but has a security post. The screens around the pool were off the frames in several places. The pool was not cleaned when we arrived - I called Friday morning and they sent someone out on Saturday to clean it. The lounge chairs by the pool are rusted and the legs were broken. The location is prefect for days at the parks and their neighborhood is great with lots of close shopping and food delivery. With some major updates this could be a great rental.

Excellent Location - Lovely Home

We stayed at this home June 12-20, 2011, and had a wonderful trip. First, Emerald Island is a nice community and is located just a few miles from Walt Disney World. We did not use any of the community amenities (except for the friendly guards who waved us through the gates upon entering the community). The home was easy to find, and was well appointed. Our children enjoyed the pool (although it's a little small) and the game room (even though it was consistently over 90-degrees in there!). The mattresses were just so-so, but we weren't too uncomfortable. The house seemed to have some ventilation issues, and the queen bedroom was much warmer than the rest of the house (although we did find a fan in a closet and it helped). The carpet seemed to be brand new, and the paint appeared to be recent as well. Although we didn't do any real cooking, the kitchen seemed to be well-stocked. The washer and dryer were great! This house isn't one of the high-end homes available in the Kissimmee area, but it was a great value, CLEAN and comfortable. I would not hesitate to stay here again!

Retreat

The area and property was amazing. Very calming and retreat-like. With the recent storm the lanai screen was damaged, but we certainly understood that. An email prior to our arrival by the property manager to advise would have been most appreciated. We did experience some trouble with the pool heat, later to find out was due to resurfacing which had been done. Overall, we had a wonderful week and will definitely be staying here again on our next visit to Orlando.

Relaxing

The house was nice pool was small but perfect for us. The only negative thing was no pool loungers for laying by the pool. The owner was very nice and always got back to me right away. Property management was fine but we did forget a small backpack with items it in it under the bathroom sink but housekeeping said they seen nothing so don’t forget anything. We would definitely stay here again the house fit us perfectly.

This a nice clean home and very close to Disney. The only issue is with the master toilet not flushing right sometimes. I would recommend this home

Fun, but a couple problems.

I didn't know that upon arrival we would need to have $10 cash to get the card that would open the gate into the neighborhood. The game room in the garage is fun. Also it was nice to have a pool to play in. It's small, but my 4and 6 year old loved it. The kitchen faucet was broken, but they came the day I called and took care of it. The fridge leaked water from the freezer through the whole fridge and then the water froze on my veggies and fruit. The water leaked out into the ground everytime I opened the drawers. I told them about this but nothing was taken care of. Maybe they were waiting for a part or something. But they didn't ever tell us anything. Also there was only the toilet paper in our bathrooms, no paper towels, no garbage bags, and no dishwasher detergent. Maybe I've just been spoiled by some other places we stayed. But this was inconvenient. But really close to all the parks and so fun

Nice location

The property owner, Deva was very responsive and helpful. The property management was HORRIBLE! It was cold the day we arrived and the heat would not go above 62° in the house. The pool was not filled with water and the temperature was not turned up upon our arrival for use, that took 3 days. If the temp went below 55° out side the heat would shut off to the pool which is just how it is but you still pay for pool heat that wasn't prepared for us or able to function. The pillows were yellow and stained, the kitchen sink leaked a lot and the fridge had sitting water on the bottom shelf, trouble getting Tv's on, batteries missing from two TV remotes, the hall way bath faucet pulled away from the wall when turning on the shower. Also, the grill was grosse and old so Deva said it should not be on the property anyway. The good things are; the house was nice, nice space, the beds are comfortable, cable on TV's and good location.

Fantastic 4 bedroom villa at Emerald Island

A fantastic 4 bedroom villa (3 doubles and 2 X singles), open plan kitchen/diner - living room facing glass doors that opened on to the private pool. Situated at Emerald Island, which is around 15-20 minutes drive to Disney. The master bedroom had a huge en-suite with corner bath, shower and walk in wardrobe. My husband and children loved the games room set up in the garage, which included pool, air hockey and football. The pool area included tables, chairs and BBQ. Sun loungers and inflatables. The pool backed onto a large lake, therefore, extremely private when using the outside space. The only problems that we encountered were a couple of the TVs stopped working and a blocked toilet. Deva contacted the management company immediately to deal with the issues and always responded to very quickly to any queries. The villa was very clean, the pool had a a few cracked tiles that could have been better cleaned and style of the furniture was quite traditional. In terms of space, amenities, equipment and location the villa was fantastic for our family of 5. I would definitely recommend this property if wanting a base to visit Disney, Seaworld & Universal. Awesome Loation/ Great rates!

I so enjoyed this property! The home was in the best location with a Walmart just only a mile away and all the parks were within 10-15 minutes driving (depending on traffic of course. :)) The private pool was so wonderful and the scenery of the lake and the birds including a large white heron and a very large hawk that would visit us every day. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this home (and have been:))!!! I will be back for sure!

Nice and spacious, pool chairs need some love.

We have stated in probably 4 homes in Emerald Isle. Pros about this home- layout is great- with a split floor plan. Our kiddos loved game room, and the property was very spacious. This is definitely one of the more dated properties we have stayed at but the beds were comfy, couches were comfy, TV was nice, lots of channels. We got to experience the master closet as there was a tornado warning while we were there. Master bath is really big which was a plus. Pantry in the kitchen is huge! Two big cons-pool furniture is super old and not very comfy- I like to lay out while the kiddos swim- not really doable. Second, the ice maker doesn’t work, so we used trays, and the sink just doesn’t put out cold water. Do I would definitely buy a bag of ice. The owner was good at communicating and there are a lot of towels and blankets and such. As a whole, it fit our needs, but not our favorite Emerald Isle property.

Bigger than I expected!

The pictures for the house don't do it justice!The living room/dining room combo was very spacious and the kitchen and family room were an open floor plan making it seem really big. I liked the split floor plan and the master bath was huge! I'm a big fan of the shower! It looks like it's going to be small but it's actually very deep. The other 3 bedrooms were decent size. It seemed hotter on that side of the house though. There weren't any ceiling fans in those bedrooms so that may have been why. The only reason I didn't give this house 5 stars is because of the patio/pool area. It was screened in but it still seemed like there were a lot of bugs. Also we grilled out there one night (huge plus) but there wasn't a light anywhere near the grill, or at least we couldn't find one. That made things rather difficult. Also it looks like the pool could use a good cleaning. The water was clear but it looked like there was some sediment on the bottom of it. All in all, this was a great house. It helped this trip seem more like a vacation, instead of having to live out of suitcases in a hotel. This decision was definitely the right one and booking was easy!

Not Satisfied

The overall design and space of the house was great. The pool was clean but had a really bad odor that stayed on our bathing suits even after washing them. The dryer doesn’t work well and have to use twice. We changed our sheets mid way through the week and washed them And for new ones out the linen closet to notice a big hole in the fitted sheet. All linens need to be replaced. The fridge and AC wasn’t working when we got there but they fixed it the next day. It wasn’t amazing but for the price it was durable. Won’t stay here again but it worked.

2019 Disney World Stay

Our stay was a blessed time. While there Deva helped us resolve a few issue immediately and was very kind. My wife, 2 kids, and mom and dad had a wonderful and memorable time at their place. Heated pool was a great addition for it was a hit. So much that my 7 year old son would have preferred to stay at the house with the pool than go to the parks! Some maintenance will still need to be addressed though I am sure Deva will have it address with management team when an opening is available. I would recommend this property. ~Glenn

Already planning a return trip

The house was clean, well kept with everything we could want being centrally located. We’ve stayed in many Florida vacation homes over the years and this house was everything and more listed in the description. We watched the fireworks almost every night, and if you’re considering upgrading and getting pool heat I highly recommend it. Thank you for a great experience and opening your home to us.

Proved to be an Excellent Choice!

Not our first pool home rental, but the nicest. Location: excellent, very close to Disney as well as a variety of restaurants and shopping. Neighborhood: better maintained than Rolling Hills or Indian Creek, and not as crowded as Windsor Hills. Located on a pond, no neighbors behind us, enjoyed the visiting wildlife. Home very comfortable, very clean, comfy beds. Kitchen had all we needed and everything worked just fine. Didn't have time for the game room, but did enjoy the pool several times. The owner responds to all questions promptly (very important to us). The entry keypad was so convenient, we're installing one at our house! We looked at over a hundred pool homes, contacted more than two dozen owners, and when all was said and done this proved to be an excellent choice. We look forward to staying there again.

2nd Stay at this Property!

This was our 2nd stay at this property. It's convenient, clean, and offers a host of amenities. We visited during a cold snap, and the pool heat kept the pool at a comfortable temperature for swimming (even if it was only 50-degrees outside!). We could see the Wishes fireworks from the patio at night - so neat! The house shows some wear, but it is clean! Plenty of towels, sheets, pillows and blankets (which was important when it got cold!). Well-stocked kitchen. Master bedroom mattress was not super comfortable, but it certainly wasn't the worst I've ever slept on. Deva offers a great rate for a comfortable stay - can't be beat!

Great property in really lovely location

We stayed here for two weeks. The house was really clean and all details were accurate. I would recommend this to anyone. There were four adults and two children. The pool was ideal and we all loved the un overlooked view. When we had enough of the busy parks etc. we would come back for a dip in the pool the children loved it. The only problem we incurred was the cot as little one is used to a full sized wooden cot. Restaurants were within easy reach both casual and more select ones. Thanks Deva for renting us your lovely house. Lin and family.

Great Location

My wife and I stay for 33 days. Great location and a very Clean home . Pool was great after a day of site seeing or at the theme parks Close to everything. The view from the pool over looking the lake is great. A lot of wildlife. Saw many types of birds and a few turtles. Everything as discribed in the ad and photos. Will Try to stay again the next time we go to Kissimmee

Perfect locación , near everything!

We have stayed for fifteen days with our daughter of nine and our first surprise was the perfect location of the resort! , the acces to the parks, restaurants and shopping is with in 15 - 30 minutes by ). It is safe and tidy, the wild life is nice and The natural trails are beautiful to walk in The mornings or afternoons. The property is very well decorated, completely clean and well equiped. The carpets and The paint are just great, and The TV in family room is really new and big. The view of The lake from The pool is relaxing and changes every day because of The animals and The colours in The water. The answer from The manager has been helpful and quickly. Everything looked as in the photos, and even better! Thank you so much!
