Nice stay with adult family members

Overall the property worked out wonderfully for our family of 6. Being right on the beach with just a short walk was awesome. The kids also enjoyed the pool near the clubhouse. The drive into Monterey went fairly quickly and we would definitely stay here again!

Everything was great and as advertized. Loved the location and the solitude. Only blemish was a broken seal in the dishwasher that leaked over the floor when we ran it, but I notified the rental company so I assume it got handled. Otherwise great experience and I would recommend this unit and company if anyone asked.

The kitchen was well equipped, there was a large table for meals, puzzles and games, and the living room was so comfortable and homey and we were right on the beach!!!! Pros: The condo was gorgeous and very clean. Nice decor, towels and linens. Kitchen was adequate, TVs with Dish were great. Loved the welcome bottle of wine/cheese/crackers. View was awesome and we loved hearing the ocean from our deck! The beach at the condo complex was wonderful as well! Cons: The upstairs bed was not comfortable for us, the floors in the kitchen area were very squeaky, and the bathtubs were slippery (had to buy a bath mat). Our biggest issue was that the fridge wasn't keeping our food cold so we had to throw out a lot of our food that we JUST bought because it spoiled. The Sanctuary customer service was pleasant and responsive when I texted to report it but by the time we got our smaller loaner fridge, the food had already gone bad. Also, trash was left in the outside trash cans from the previous guests but the maintenance guy took it out for us when he was there to look at the fridge so that solved that issue. OVERALL, it was a quiet, relaxing time in a gorgeouse location. Just a bummer about the fridge inconvenience, wasted food, and uncomfortable bed.

Love this place!

Very well-appointed property hidden away on the coast. The hosts were amazing, checking in to ensure we had everything we needed. My family and I enjoyed the beach and peaceful surroundings. We will definitely return.

A well furnished setup

We really enjoy staying at Monterey Dunes each year. This rental is well furnished, and with good thoughtful supplies. One of the best rentals we have stayed at the colony.

Peaceful stay at Sand Dollar

Beautiful property! We loved how quiet and peaceful the area is. Sanctuary was also fantastic with communication and service. They are clearly committed to ensuring their guests have the perfect vacation.

Beautiful home in the dunes

This is a beautiful home IN the dunes! It really is a lovely surrounding and we found the house to be very comfortable. It was well equipped and roomy enough for 7 adults. Very relaxing, quiet, safe area.

Great option for out of town workers

We rented this house for some people coming in from out of town to work with us during Monterey Car Week. Peaceful, clean, great view of the ocean. Worked great for 4 co-workers to share!
