Casa Del Mar is located in Kierland North Scottsdale. The single family one level home offers 4 bedrooms, 2.5 baths and the Tiki Shower in the backyard! All the amenities and right near all the action of Phoenix Open, Westworld, Old Town Scottsdale, Spring Training, and right around the corner form the Kierland / Scottsdale Quarter Shopping metropolis; but in a quiet neighborhood. WIFI, flat screens and sunshine everywhere! The Master Suite has King Bed with TV, Guest Suite has King Bed with TV, Guest room with two bunk beds (full on bottoms, twin on top bunks), and game-room in separate detached guest casita / pool house room with Queen pull out couch. Additional couches and a cot can accommodate a Max 14-15 people but 12 more comfortable comfortably.

Enjoy the backyard with optional Heated Pool* and NEW WATER SLIDE, BBQ grill, outdoor patio TV, and pool house game room (also with Big WIFI enabled TV) - ping pong table, bumper pool table / poker table in office room with variety of other billiard and board games. Both living room and family rooms have cable TVs with surround sound as well. Come see why so many happy guests give "Casa Del Mar" 5 stars!

***Optional pool heat- Heated to 85 degrees - Daily rate of $75 per day for heated pool for stays of 5 days or more, $100/day for stays 4 days or less. This is simply to offset the gas bill on a large/deep diving pool. Rate of $1250 for a full month.

***1 dog allowed with approval only. A "Pet Fee" will be added to your booking when reserving online. Pet Fees are non-refundable and are not to cover any damages, extra cleaning or picking up your dogs poop.

***$400/month Electric Cap (Full month reservations only). Guests agree to this policy upon booking and are liable for the overages. $400/mth should cover it unless it is abused.

perfect size for our family of 5. kids had a blast at the house pool and the game room. the putting green was also a spot for some family competition

Family week away

The propery manager was accommodating to our needs and very kind. The home has lots of kid friendly amenites including toys and books. The pool was great. The TVs and remotes were not working. Although neat and tidy, the home has a lived-in feel, and can use a deeper cleaning. However, the beds were clean and very comfortable. Great location. Overall enjoyed our stay and would come again.

Needs some attention

Had some issues but they were addressed very quickly by Wes the property manager. The home needs to be updated and given some attention. Despite the issues we will be returning next year with the hope that the property will see some improvements.

It had everything we need, was centrally located, and the backyard was awesome! The house was spotless upon arrival, and there were little touches (like having a working printer) that allowed me to work and play at the same time. Additionally, we actually arrived a day earlier, and we were able able to get sooner than anticipated. Super easy to deal with and very accomodating. I highly recommend staying here and will definitely be back!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our 3rd year renting this house. We noted items that needed replacement the first year and nothing has changed. Outside couches are unusable sunken/broken seats. Leather couch indoors is so uncomfortable we had to use front room to watch tv. House needs updating and decorating. Very disappointed as we love the backyard and the area. Will be looking elsewhere for next year.

Thanks for your repeat business and constructive criticism June. We have made some additions and renovations because of it. We have replaced all the patio furniture and living room couch. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First off, this location and property owner were excellent. Great location and very nice layout. There are just some small details that add up when not working.- The master bathroom shower didn't work well at all. The handles to turn water on just didn't work. - Handle on the toilet in the bathroom near kitchen fell off several times,- screen sliding door was broken and I could not fix it.- All the closet doors in the other bedroom were off the track and did not work.- The cushions out on the patio need to be replaced. They are just worn down.-We used a coffee maker. Whenever the heating unit on the coffe maker kicked in all the lights in the kitchen would dim. Very odd and if your an electrician probably would make you concerned.- TV in the living room would cut out. The picture would stop showing, then start again. Oddly enough this only happened when we ran the washer machine. Very odd.-speakers by the pool don't work.The place would be solid with some fixes and updates.

We heated the pool and the temp was perfect.There were a couple of issues, but the property manager Wes was a pleasure to work with: response and friendly. No problem was an issue to solve...he fixed them all.Love the 5 min of less drive to Kierland Mall!We'll stay here again.

We LOVE This Location! An amazing home!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our SECOND time renting this location. We chose it for its proximity to stores, restaurants and for its serene neighborhood. This house is great for family gatherings and fun dinners. We were able to swim, sit on the back patio, cook dinner and just relax together as a family. The home has a game room and my husband and sons used their putting area every single day. This house is simply amazing! Everything from Target to Walmart to Costco to Sprouts is nearby. Also nearby are many restaurants, ice cream/yogurt--anything you need for a wonderful time away. The neighborhood is quiet and the amenities in this home are fantastic! Working with the management team was easy. No issues! Love this home!

Needs maintenance and sprucing up!

We were pleased with some improvements that were made but the new outside shower is a mess ... does not work and is only a cold shower (very disappointing). Mattress in game room pull out needs to be replaced (the underside is very badly stained). Would love to see the leather sectional replaced (it is extremely uncomfortable). Despite all that, we are returning next year ... great location and beautiful backyard!

Not as advertised

Pictures were taken a long time ago, this property is pretty run down and damaged. The 4th bedroom is a joke, its a room off the garage with no access into the rest of the house and no bathroom. The bed is a sofa bed. Bath tub was clogged up. Dusty and smelly. Master TV doesn't work. Fire Alarm sensors were all dead and beeping. No one had rented for a while apparently, the chalk boards inside had other peoples names and Christmas stuff all over it. Dyer was broken, sliding glass door was not very trust worthy. Overall was not happy, especially since we booked it for 11 days so living with the problems that long suuucked.

We are saddened to hear our guest did not have a 5 star stay like other do. We spoke to the guest and took care of every concern during their stay. We also blocked a full week after the stay to go through the whole house and repair, replace, organize etc. the whole home for our future guests. 9 night stay.

There was 12 teenagers and 2 adults staying in this house for 9 nights. The space was a bit tight for all of us but it was a success overall. We used air mattresses for 2 of the kids so that beds weren't as cramped. The outdoor space was lovely and ready to use when we got there. Overall, this is a great property to rent!

Big house for big groups

The house was fine a couple of Munro details here and there, like the garbage was full when we got there and things were out of place. Overall good stay for a big group, but the rental property prefers to communicate over phone calls which was different.

Excellent Stay!!

This home has everything you could hope for, and was very comfortable for the entire family. The pool and yard were wonderful. The house was very clean, and the management company did a fabulous job communicating. I would highly recommend this property.
