Here is your perfect vacation home base. This very affordable one-bedroom condo apartment is located in the quiet hamlet of Fairmont Hot Springs. Fairmont is the centre of the Columbia Valley, convenient but well away from the busy seasonal congestion typical of Invermere and Radium.

Fairmont Hot Springs is located in the Columbia Valley in the Canadian Rockies between the Purcell and the Rocky Mountains. The Columbia Valley is an outdoor adventurer’s dream with so many opportunities for outdoor recreation, spectacular views and life-long memories to take home. From here you can access all the recreation and sight-seeing opportunities in the area both north and south as well as right on your doorstep. Within an hour's drive is everything from Cranbrook and Kimberley in the south to Spillimacheen in the north and Panorama and the Purcells to the west and Kootenay National Park in the Canadian Rockies to the east.

Spend the day golfing, hiking, biking and exploring nearby communities or maybe get some beach time at nearby Lake Windermere or Columbia Lake. Follow up with a soothing warm soak at the nearby Hot Springs and then after dinner, enjoy a leisurely evening walk through this quiet community or beside the nearby Columbia River. Don't forget to check out a legendary Columbia Valley sunset to wrap up your day.

Fairmont Hot Springs is big enough to provide all the essentials as well as a few luxuries. It's small enough to offer a relaxed and peaceful vacation experience. You are only 20 minutes from the busy tourist town of Invermere and you can choose to take the less-travelled and very scenic Westside Road home or even cycle the Westside Legacy Trail. If you want to get away from it all and enjoy nature but you're not quite ready for a back-country cabin then this is the perfect place for your vacation.

Your home base is a fully furnished and well equipped private vacation home established with you in mind and equipped with all you need for your summer vacation or just a weekend getaway. This property is suitable for a single person or couple only. It's not huge but it's comfortable, affordable, convenient and easily big enough for one to two people to relax and enjoy. You won't break the bank so add a few extra days to your stay and go home refreshed.

Friendly and home away from home

Our host was very accommodating, and provided a couple of suggestions on where to eat( both were great). The place was clean dry and well stocked. All we could ask for.

Fantastic time

This property was in excellent condition. It was well stocked (pots, dishes, cutlery, towels etc etc). The furniture was comfy and in good condition. There was also many bonus spices and coffee and tea. The cleanliness was superb!! Our host was very accommodating and encouraged us to contact him with any questions. It was a really great place to stay.

Weekend hiking trip in Fairmont Hot Springs

Golf Getaway

My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary and golfed Riverside, Mountainside, as well as Creekside. The condo was a perfect, quiet place to relax. Since the smoke was so bad, we signed into Netflix and stayed indoors when we weren’t golfing. We cooked our own meals using the BBQ and really appreciated the spices provided in the kitchen. The owner’s photography of the mountains added to the vacation vibe.

The Perfect Getaway!

We recently stayed at this amazing 1 bedroom unit and couldn't have been more happy with our experience. It was very clean, quiet and had everything we needed for our stay. The location was perfect, with lots of things to do in the area. We were able to explore the local attractions and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Chris was a fantastic host, very responsive to messages and he provided us with all the information we needed to have a great stay. We definitely plan on visiting again and highly recommend this rental!

Your host Chris, lives full-time in the apartment next door to the vacation property. There is a no-contact check-in process however Chris is usually available to assist if you have any requests or require assistance during your stay. Your privacy and your peaceful enjoyment of the property is fully respected and assured during your stay.

Chris has lived in the Columbia Valley since 2012 and owns a landscape and real estate photography business. For his first ten years in the area he was a full-time guide with a nearby ATV & Snowmobile tour company. If you require information about activities, adventures and recreation opportunities in the area he will be happy to assist.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

A private entry from the patio provides access to this vacation apartment, which offers an open plan living, dining and kitchen area and a comfortable separate bedroom with a King Size bed and ample closet space. There is a large bathroom adjoining the bedroom with an over-sized soaker tub (please note that the water jets in the tub do not function) amazing views of the Fairmont Range.

There is an electric fireplace and baseboard heating and a window mounted air-conditioning unit to keep you comfortable in all seasons.

The apartment is available for a maximum of two persons only. There is a fold-out bed available in the living room for separate sleeping arrangements if required. If you wish to use this please let your host know in advance at time of booking. Please note this facility is not available to use for additional persons to stay in the unit.

The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you could require for your stay. There is an adjoining laundry with a new washer & dryer (installed January 2021). The laundry is shared with your host only.

The private patio area is accessed from the common walkway in front of the unit and provides plenty of room to sit outside on warm summer evenings an end enjoy the view of the evening light on the Fairmont Range of the Canadian Rockies.
