This privately owned Marco Beach Ocean Resort 1-Bedroom Suite is ideally located within Marco Island's most luxurious beachfront boutique resort condo property. Unit 1012 is a full gulf-view suite with a private balcony, recently updated with coastal contemporary designer furnishings. Offered exclusively by The Holiday Life Rentals, the suite is maintained to hotel standards of cleanliness and stocked with high quality amenities needed for a completely seamless vacation. Inside the condo, you have a bedroom with a King size bed, large flat screen television and dresser. The en suite marble bathroom has both a soaking tub and walk-out shower. The living room has a queen size sleeper sofa and another large flat screen TV. Sliding doors lead out to your private balcony with a dining table, offering tranquil views out to the rolling waves of the Gulf of Mexico. The kitchen has a full size oven and range, microwave, mini refrigerator and cabinets filled with high quality dishes, glassware and cookware including pots and pans, a Keurig Duo coffeemaker (works both with K-Cups and for brewing a full pot with regular coffee grounds), quality cutlery and bakeware.

Great place to stay

Very nice property, very clean and well kept. Our room was clean, A/C worked well, the balcony was clean, it came with beach chairs + umbrella, the valet service was very helpful for the entirety of the stay. Only complaint really was that the bar & grill would not give you food to go, because we were not members (since the bar & grill is separate from the condo building). The bar & grill food is very good. They just lost out on revenue by not supporting to-go orders. Overall great location, great place to stay, very good experience.

Nice condo, building has quick and easy access to beach. Room as advertised with good view of sunset. Pullout mattress from couch thicker and more comfortable than most. Pulley system in gym on the the property could use some TLC but sufficient to get a basic workout in. Staff at the check in desk and valet were cordial. Overall a great location on the beach with a great view

Positive - The staff are very pleasant and helpful. The location is great for dining options and beach. The restaurant and beach cafe both have excellent food and service. The beach is one of the best I visited. Good family atmosphere. Not positive - The pool bar is closed (but coolers are allowed). The room is nice but show signs of wear. The half refrigerator needs to be replaced (would not cost much). The hot water is variable.

Well appointed and equipped with all the basic amenities one would expect. However, there are two areas where there is need for improvement. The beach towels provided are in need of replacement, suggest proper matching beach towels rather than mis-matched bath towels. Secondly when the property has been booked for longer than a week (twelve nights in our case) a fresh, complimentary, set of bed linen should be provided.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The check-in was simple, and Holiday Life had inspected the unit and allowed us to check-in prior to the usual 3:00PM time. The unit itself was very nice and the location and view were fantastic; however, the resort itself was showing some age. One of the building elevators was out of service the entire 20 days, the elevator from the pool deck to the garage was dirty, and one of the submerged lights in the pool was loose and floating in the water. The unit could have used more supplies, as the number of garbage bags, towels, toiletries, and linens were inadequate for a 20-night stay.

Beautiful apartment but poor communication

Beautiful apartment. A few little niggles. TV remote didn’t work, previous occupant had left food in the freezer. Bathroom light flashing. Bottle tops in cooler bag. The biggest annoyance was that we were made to use valet parking. They said there was maintenance work in the garage. That was just a lie. We checked every floor in the garage and there was no work being carried out. They also parked our car in there! The employees parked their cars in there too. Felt like it was a scam. It was very inconvenient having to wait for your car to be brought to you. Not to mention the cost of the tips. The restaurant was closed for the season and the beach bar only served food from 11 to 4. Not what was advertised. Contacted the management company who didn’t really seem to care. That said, the view from the apartment was stunning. Watching the sun go down from our balcony was breathtaking. The beach location couldn’t have been better. Plenty of access to water sports and tours. There is a fire dancer outside the Marriott hotel on the beach every night at sun set. That was fun to watch. Found a great restaurant a couple of minutes walking distance called Stonewalls. Open all day from breakfast to dinner. Fabulous home cooked food at very reasonable prices.

Last time we stay here

Check was horrible as I arrived at check in time to find someone in the room repairing the toilet, no warning of this was given to us. The apartment had various issues such as a completely wet sofa and living room carpet. Bathroom wasn't cleaned properly and had loose strands of hair throughout, my wife had to clean the bathroom upon our arrival. The toilet was also broken and had constant running water throughout our stay. At bedtime we discovered that the bed also had loose hair on the pillows and sheets, the covers were also excessively wrinkled. We flipped the covers inside-out but this was disgusting. The a/c vent in the kitchen is constantly running and blowing hot air. The coffee machine wasn't cleaned properly and had a large amount of condensation. The blinds in the living room are broken. The beach chairs provided with the unit were covered in sand and rust. A lot of these issues should be easily corrected with better property management. We communicated all of these issues with the office staff member at the owners business but no solutions were provide. The property manager made no attempt to contact us at any point even with the disaster at check-in and their contact information wasn't even provided to us. After the horrible experience with the room, the beach and sunsets were incredible, pool was nice but would be better if the pool bar was open, bar on the walk to the beach has good drinks and food to enjoy. We've stayed here before when it was a resort and the difference is vast. Overall a frustrating experience as our first vacation with a newborn but we tried to spend as much time as we could outside of the room.
