We had a great stay! When we came there were a few things we addressed with the property manager and they got right on top of it! We couldn’t thank them enough for their responsiveness and being on top of everything! Defiantly recommend a stay here!

Don’t do it!

I can’t express how unhappy we were with this property. Upon arriving we noticed the house was significantly hot, we quickly lowered the A/C and it took almost 4 days to get the temperature to go down from 79 to 73 (we had the A/C company out twice). One side of the house gets all the air and the other just stays hot despite having 4 portable fans on and all curtains closed 24/7. The views from the living room would have been nice if we could keep the curtains open but that’s not the case. We were there for 5 nights and could not get a comfortable nights sleep, the main floor room is extremely hot and was told from the company that there was nothing they could do. Then, we had to deal with roaches, yes ROACHES! Came back on Monday form being out to find a dead roach laying on top of one of the pillows on the room upstairs with the bunk beds. We had to store all of our items in our luggage and have it zipped up because we were concerned about critters getting inside our stuff. The house was dirty, was told that the previous guests had trashed the house and they had not had a chance to get the carpets cleaned. It was so disgusting, no one was comfortable walking around without shoes. You might ask yourself why we stayed for the entire time, we really didn’t have a choice. The company would not refund us any portion of our money despite our first complaints being within an hour of arriving. VRBO offered a nights stay at a hotel but could not accommodate all 10 of us.

Good stay for adults

The location is okay.. I feel like it's definitely more for adults. I should have researched the area better! There are two bar restaurants in walking distance. The little private bay beach is alright, water isn't super clear, but it's okay if you don't want to travel far. Any of the actual gulf coast beaches are all an hour or more away. From the condo to the private beach/pools is about a 10-15 minute walk, which was difficult with small children in 97 degree weather. There's a TON of traffic in the community, and was dangerous with how some were driving. If you have additional vehicles, parking was scarce and the community is VERY strict on parking. The place itself appeared clean, but was not deep cleaned: garbage underneath the beds in each room, coffee pot was left with coffee grounds and had grown mold, washing machine smelled like mildew from being left shut, kitchen table chair leg that was loose. Just little things that were missed. Other than that, the place is nice! It is 3 stories, so people with mobility issues may want to reconsider. We had 3 young kids, 1 baby, and 5 adults and it was VERY cramped. There was little to no place to sit all together. The biggest problem was the AC unit went out the second day. We came back to the condo at around 85 degrees inside. The maintenance people did do the best they could and brought us box fans at 10pm to help get us through the night. There's only ceiling fans in the living area and one of the bedrooms.

Simply Beautiful and Convenient

I loved seeing the water on multiple balconies. We saw plenty of dolphins, manatees, and so many different types of birds. The beach was extremely close and a nice restaurant was at the same location. Finally, we were not far from town, so you could do any shopping that needed to get done.

Deceiving. READ BEFORE YOU BOOK

The Property itself is nice (little habor). I have visited Little Habor before and enjoyed the private beach and the other amenities the property has to offer. HOWEVER this unit did not hold up to the description or our expectations from the previous stay. Upon arriving the kitchen was full of Gnats or as previously called "sewer bugs". There was also a stagnant mildew smell throughout the main floor. The living area and dinning room are very tight for the accommodating size (10 people) there is only one sofa and a single chair in the living room, there is also a glass coffee table which is not safe for children or even adults to be honest. The dinning room table is too big for the area which makes it difficult to sit and eat at. The bathroom on the main floor had the exhaust fan hanging from the ceiling, I contacted the management company and they eventually sent the "maintenance man" out to fix (but did not inform us that they would be sending someone)( I was in the shower when he arrived). The bedroom on the main floor gets extremely HOT!! Thankfully there was a few fans that helped... some. There was gum wrappers, hair ties, DEAD BUGS and lots of dust around the bed frame. Throughout the main floor especially the kitchen there was GERMAN ROACHES!!!! The management company sent a pest control service out, but once again after a complaint they didn't tell me someone would be coming we just found a business card on the stove top. BUT there was still roaches!! The second floor (technically 3rd floor) has the two other bedrooms. The room with the bunk beds is extremely hot as well, with no ceiling fan or even LIGHT fixture, there is a lamp. The furniture shows some wear and under the beds were chip crumbs and wrappers. The "Master Bedroom" had no signs of bugs stayed cool and had a powerful ceiling fan. The bed was firm but overall "OK". Each room had a balcony which was nice but there is a ledge to enter and exit which is NOT safe! I am positive the management company has had a difficult time controlling the ROACHES and GNATS along with having a decent cleaning service. As I had said I reached out to them and addressed my complaints at which time they requested I send them PICTURES!!! As if someone would make this up! I would not stay here again even without the ROACHES or for FREE! The unit needs to be throughly cleaned and some paint would go a long way! For the price of the unit it is not worth it!

6 of us stayed here. Plenty of room for us. Good location. Main issue was when we arrived furniture was all wet, must have been steamed and not dried by the cleaners.

Girlfriend getaway

I have stayed at other VRBO's and rentals and have never given a bad review. Unfortunately, the pictures of the unit are deceiving on the size of the living area. It states it can sleep up to 11 people though there is not enough room for more than 5-6 people in the living area unless everyone else is sitting at the table. The couch needs to be thrown away, the sleeper is broken and you sink 8 inches down into the cushions when you sit down because the sleeper bed is on the ground. There were no directions for the TV on how to get to the Netflix, Hulu or other accounts. We called prior to going and were told this information was provided. There is a light switch on the hall wall that controls the plugin that the TV is plugged into, so guess what... once you turn it off, it turns everything off you have programmed into the TV. The light switch is not marked. It took us 90 minutes to get the TV programmed with one of our Netflix accounts. Most of the beds were comfortable except the king in the master bedroom, it needs a new mattress, very soft. You are instructed not to turn the thermostat below 70 but there is only the master bedroom with ceiling fans and it gets HOT at night. We bough a box fan to help with circulation. There were items under the beds, lotion bottle, hair ties, dead bugs and sewer flies. I don't doubt the company is having trouble hiring help because it showed in the cleaning. It was surface cleaning. One really big gripe was there were only 2 extra rolls of toilet paper for all three bathrooms. This is unacceptable and each bathroom should have 2 extra rolls of toilet paper. Having the supplies you need to have an enjoyable stay do not cost that much, enough garbage bags, toilet paper, paper towels and three laundry detergent pods/pouches would do a lot to bring your rating up.

Wonderful view

We loved our stay. It had plenty of room for 7 adults. It had a balcony for ever bedroom and one for living room. A large group of manatee frolicking in the canal during the morning and resting in the afternoon. Easy walk to fish. Pool a little small for how large the complex was, but was able to still enjoy it. Cable was a little touchy, but was able to use. The master suite is large and the bed was wonderful. I suffer from back issues, and it usually hurts when sleeping in different beds. Not once did I wake with a back ache. Even checked on what mattress it was. Beautiful furnishings, washer, dryer, table and chairs 6. Rooms were well sound proof. Would stay again.

Local agradável

Tipicamente um apartamento de praia. Por estar localizado na praia não tem um infraestrutura muito diversificada. Supermercado e outras lojas ficam relativamente longe da propriedade. A conexão com a sua internet é bem ruim, deixou a desejar. É um ótimo local para quem quer descanso e ficar desligado do mundo.

Disappointment

The setup of the house was good but there were a few things that I did not like. The pullout bed in the living room was broken. Of course I didn't know that until I was slurring my kids to sleep. The sofa and chair were very dirty! You can literally see the dirty on the arms and middle of the couch. Very hard to enjoy it!!
