Perfect getaway spot

This was the perfect cabin for our girls getaway. The house was cozy and had everything thing we needed for our stay.

Great location, lovely rental property

Stayed there for 5 days and had a great time. House was perfect for families with young children. Not on the water but super close and also very close to all the shops, restaurants and bars in deep creek. Highly recommend and would stay again.

Nice Getaway

The house was very nice, the pool table was fun for all, as well as the hot tub. Sitting on the deck listening to music and hanging out with friends and family is exactly what we needed. Had all the utensils and pots and pans we needed!

Thanksgiving

We had all our family together for Thanksgiving-ages 3-84. Everyone loved it-plenty of room to gather around the table for dinner and games. The pool table and foosball in the game room were big hits as well.

Perfect Little Getaway

We had a very quick trip and this house was perfect for all 14 of us to spend time together! Plenty of parking space, easy access to lots of things. Living room / kitchen layout was great making everyone feel close without being on top of each other! Host was responsive prior to our trip. Everything was as expected.

Excellent stay

Everything was awesome. House has everything which you want..lots of games and all within house…places near to that house like water sports or restaurants. We enjoyed. Just only one thing which needs improvement-more cleaning at property.

Family Vacation 2023

We had a wonderful time! Boating on the lake. Hiking in the national parks. Swimming at the beach. Visiting the creamery and local donut shop. I would recommend this house !

Great place!

Great location. Super close to Wisp Resort. The bunk room was great, the kids loved having a room all to themselves. Was very impressed with the amount of kitchen supplies ie. pots, pans, plates and mugs available. Only two drawbacks, one not enough dinning seating for the amount of people the house sleeps. The second which was difficult because we had a few light sleepers in our group was that walls and floors are paper thin you could hear very thing as well as everything from outside. Overall we had a fabulous time and would definitely consider coming back!

Great stay!

The house was just as presented in the pictures; no surprises for better or worse. The kitchen was very well stocked with cookware and servingware and the welcome bag was a nice touch. The only reason I didn't rate it 5 stars is because most of the appliances need to be updated & the water pressure was weak. As noted in other reviews, the bottom floor was noticeably cooler than the rest of the house so bring an extra blanket if you prefer to sleep warm. Overall we had a wonderful time and are already talking about making it a yearly tradition!

Fun Ladies Weekend

Overall a good experience and a fun weekend. Towels and linens were clean and comfortable. The house could use more of a "detailed" cleaning. Cobwebs and little spiders throughout the house. As we moved some things around you could tell that cleaning was done around things, not under. The hot tub was dirty and we had to call to get someone to come clean it. Serviceman came the next day. He emptied it, did not clean or wipe out the dirt before refilling it and threw in some chemicals. Finally in order to keep the top 3rd floor temperature comfortable, we had to keep the thermostat around 72 which was okay for the 2nd floor too but made the bottom bunk bed floor extremely uncomfortably cold. The gas fireplace made it cozy on the main level and the outside deck and furniture were really nice. We used the firepit too as well as the gas grill for a barbeque. Overall with a few adjustments, it was an enjoyable weekend.

The home is very nice. A few issues we had were the refrigerator took 2 days to actually start to keep things cold. It was on high when we arrived so we put some groceries in not knowing it needed to be put on medium cool. I called the maintenance line the morning of our 2nd day and was told the setting. The bags for the cornhole set are awful. They are very light and most have holes in them, definitely need replaced. Only 1 of the pool sticks had a tip to it and there were only 2 darts for the dart board. Also, the pillows that are there for guests are super flat. The TV in the bedroom on the main floor with the queen bed would not connect so we were not able to watch the TV at all. On a positive note there are plenty of cooking utensils and dishes. There were several deer that wandered through the yard so that was neat. We enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings making smores with the kids.

Great family house

Everyone enjoyed the hot tub, fire ring, outside deck. Having a pool table was a big hit with our family. The close proximity to food, the swimming pool and the marina was awesome. A wonderful trip.

Everything was picture perfect with our stay. The only reason I gave 3 stars on the cleanliness was because the hot tub was filthy. It was full of bugs and dirt. But overall, beautiful place!

Overall a fantastic trip!

Great for bringing family together. Only problem was refrigerator, we did continue to enjoy our time. Lots of ice and coolers bought. We still wouldn't trade the trip for anything. A member of our family won't be with much longer,. so this was so needed for all of us and her. Plenty of fun to be had at the lodge. Together space and alone space if wanted, plentiful! Hopefully we will do it again!

First time to Deep Creek

We had a nice time on the lake, but the comforter in one of the bedrooms was stained with bodily fluids. Also, somehow, the same room had multiple bug issues ( moths). I think their might be an opening in the window where the air conditioner is. Luckily there was a free room for us to move to. These were not major problems and easily fixed. We would stay here again.

Great time, perfect weekend

You couldn’t ask for a better ski weekend, started snowing Thursday night. The property management kept the driveway clean and salted for us. Only complaint would be that we wish the hot tub had been ready to go at check in but we do appreciate that they cleaned it out for us. Can’t wait to stay there again!

Lake house

House was great! Only concerning thing was mold in the bottom bedroom with the bunk beds on the ceiling. We have pictures of it. Might not be the best for future renters to ingest.

Very nice stay on the long weekend. Perfect for our group. Probably could use some updates for furniture but nothing in bad shape. Great convenient location. Plowed and took care of us. Hot tub was great in the snow
