Completely updated and decorated with all the charm of coastal New England, this cottage is perfectly located to serve as home base for all the experiences this community has to offer. Walk to Mothers Beach, KBIA, or the Webhannet Golf Club ( open to the public!). Dock Square, famous for its restaurants and shopping, is just two miles away.

We LOVED this house, perfect location!!!

This is a cute little house in Kennebunk that is just a short walk to the beach and we enjoyed wonderful walks in the neighborhood! The house was very clean and very comfortable! We would definitely stay in this house again!!!

September Kennebunk

1st floor bedroom and bath has little room to move around bed and in bath. Upstairs very low ceilings and tight spot around bathtub. Good amount of space for 4 people. Was a bit crowded with 5. Loved the location and convenience to beaches.

Great Cottage Close to the Beach

We had a lovely beach week at the cottage. It is in a great location with easy access to the beaches (Mother's, Kennebunk and Gooches) as well as town. We enjoyed exploring Strawberry Island and the beach at low tide. We also rented eBikes (from Mainely Bicycles) and had a great time exploring as long as we were mindful of the traffic. The cottage sleeps a bunch of people quite comfortably. It has a smaller living area and kitchen which worked out OK because the weather was nice and we could take advantage of the front deck space. The hosts were very kind and responded promptly to our inquiries.

Pleasant Stay

Beach Cottage is a lovely, cozy cottage in a convienent location. We spent a lot of time mornings and evenings on the poarch which always had a plasant sea breeze. The beach was a very short walk and Kennebunkport was a few minute drive. The host were very helpful and responsive. We had a problem operating the diswasher and Jay stoppped over in 15 minutes a solved our issue. He is the fire chief and provided great insights into the area.

Great Girls Weekend

Loved the location and the cottage. Cottage is small but wonderful layout so it works. Decoration very nice. Beds comfortable. Loved seeing ocean and great for walking along the waterfront.

Best Location!

We loved our stay at this home. The location is absolute perfection. You are in short walking distance to mothers beach. If you are visiting the area with kids, that is the best beach for children and the home is soooooo close. The home itself was very clean and had very cute decorations. We will miss sitting out on the porch and enjoying the view and beautiful weather. Currently trying to convince other family members to join us at this property next year!

Steps away from Kennebunk’s Mothers Beach, we enjoyed a lovely week in the cozy home on Sea Road. Clean, comfortable and with great views, we enjoyed all Kennebunk had to offer.

Perfect location, cute house!

We loved our stay in this little house, the decor was welcoming and so cute. The location was perfect especially loved walking in the neighborhood and easy location to beaches. We had 4 young adults and 2 middle age parents and though the house was small it worked out very nicely to have space to be together or for privacy. Would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay in Kennebunk Beach, and Katherine’s cottage was cute and comfortable. We had everything we needed. The cottage’s location is fantastic: close to the water and to town.

Beach Cottage

We enjoyed every minute at this lovely cottage. It felt like home rather than a rental & had everything we needed for our visit, including a beautiful view of the water. We enjoyed daily morning coffee on its sun-filled porch and strolls through its beautiful neighborhood. The location is superb with the beach a few steps away and town a short drive down the street. Communication with the owners was a breeze. We’d definitely visit again given the opportunity!!

Christmas Prelude

This is a lovely home that made for a perfect stay for 3 friends to enjoy the Christmas Prelude. It is a great location and exactly as described. With views of the ocean and Kennebunkport and Kennebunk close by, we enjoyed all the area offers in the holiday season.

Second Time Around

A friend and I stayed here in April of 2022 and loved the place so much we came back again with a friend who missed out on our first visit. The location is perfect for walking in the neighborhood or along the beach. The place is charming and has all you need for a comfortable stay. We just might have to come back again for a third time!

C'est une charmante petite maison; Très près de la plage et fonctionnelle. Ceci étant dit, l'endroit est très passant et assez bruyant, aucune intimité à l'extérieur pcq l'unique patio donne sur la rue et la seule protection contre la pluie ou le soleil c'est le parasol. La voisine (maison collée sur la bordure du terrain) nous a imposé ses réunions "zoom" à plusieurs reprises pdt notre séjour; Il faut avouer que la température n'a pas été idéale pour la plage ou autres activités durant nos vacances donc, nous étions plus présents à la maison. Les meubles du salon sont tachés, c'est rien de mettre des housses lavables; Des moisissures sur le rideau de douche et, surtout, dans la laveuse à linge!! Je n'aurais jamais pensé regarder sous les fauteuils si nous n'avions pas échappé un petit objet, ouf! Dernière chose, (je n'avais probablement pas fait attention sur les photos du site) m'asseoir sur un banc pour un repas, c'est pas ma tasse de thé :( Sinon, c'est parfait!

Clean, charming, close to beach!

This home is a very cute and charming. Bright, sunny, well decorated and comfortable. It's super close to Mothers Beach so we were able to spend fulp days at the beach and pop back to the house for lunch, etc. We appreciated the beach wagon and chairs available. The outdoor grill was dirty (I didnt want to bother my husband with cleaning it) and the kitchen is pretty tiny but we used it as an excuse to eat out every night (it IS vacation!). There were enough plates/glasses but additional serving bowls/platters would have been welcome. The front deck is nice and the yard is spacious- next time we'll bring lawn games. Please consider installing an outdoor shower - that would make this spot brilliant.

Property was just as advertised, convenient to beaches and town, well equipped and clean. The house was the perfect size for 4 adults and a child, where 2 bathrooms are a "must have". Beach chairs, a cart and cooler are provided as are basic necessities within the house. The side yard was of sufficient size that we could play with our young grandson there, either before or after the beach. A bonus was the nearby, lightly trafficked road, that allowed for early or evening walks with views of many lovely huses and gardens,

Perfect home away from home!

Loved our week. This was our first home rental and it was so much better than any hotel. The house was cute and well appointed. The off street parking was wonderful and roomy. Easy walk to the beach and a wonderful view. We fell asleep to the sound of the ocean. It was the perfect little home away from home.

Lovely Cottage within Short Walk to Beach

This charming cottage was perfect for us. We loved its location and its close proximity to the beach. Due to inclement weather four adults and a ten month old spent much of our time inside but we didn’t mind since the cottage had plenty of living space for us. When the weather cooperated we took long walks with baby in carriage along sidewalks across from the beach. We were even able to enjoy a meal on the deck overlooking the ocean. The owners were very accommodating. Thanks for a memorable stay.

Perfect family vacation in Kennebunk

The cottage was perfect for our family of 4 (3 month old & 2 year old) along with my two parents. We rented a full size crib for my older son and had a bassinet for the baby - we no had problem fitting each in the upstairs bedrooms. The cottage was stocked with all we needed. The location was great - couple mins walk to get to Mothers Beach and only a 5 min drive into town. We loved sitting on the deck and watching the tide go in and out throughout the day. Great yard for our son to play in as well. We’d absolutely stay again!

Welcome to Kennebunk! My husband and I have deep roots in this community; he grew up and went through school in Kennebunk, and together we chose to raise our four children here. We think this is an incredibly special place, and love sharing it with guests from all over the country and world. We both work full time and continue to live nearby in the antique farmhouse my husband grew up in. One day, we'll retire to our little cottage by the sea. Until then, its yours to enjoy!
