Our home is right on Wells beach. Wake up every morning with a 180 degree ocean view from your ocean facing deck and living room. This home is the ultimate in beach convenience. Wake up to sunrises over the ocean and enjoy family fun on the deck as you watch the sun set. Well stocked kitchen with all the utensils allows for eating in and the central location of this home allows for quick access to all the great local restaurants. Wells is getting more and more popular each summer. The number of homes that offer this degree of beach access and ocean views is shrinking every year as owners convert rental homes to private homes. Treat yourself to the ultimate Wells beach experience - Stay right on the beach!! Within our recently updated circa 1924 home, this 3 bedroom unit is adjoined by a 2 bedroom unit (VRBO #2279562) on the opposite side of the home. If you are looking to vacation with family/friends this setup provides for both close proximity and privacy. You only live once, why not treat yourself to one of the best locations Wells Beach has to offer! Enjoy the panoramic ocean sunrise with your coffee!! Had a wonderful time. Just love being right on the beach. We have been coming up to Maine for the last 29 years and if we can rent a place on the beach we will. And we did and it was very comfortable. We will book again.

The place was clean, spacious and had everything we needed - all kitchen utensils and small appliances, to basic bath items such as hairdryers.The views are phenomenal, and access to the beach doesn't get any easier. The location is ideal, close to the grocery store, restaurants, and yes, the beach.The host and local manager were friendly, gracious and accommodating.

Location on beach and views were stunning. Hearing the constant sound of the surf was amazing. House was very clean. Communication with host was excellent. We didn’t realize at booking process we had to request towels and linens, but after communication with host they were delivered within 45 minutes. Wells Beach is incredible and we truly enjoyed our stay here, including daily walks on the beach.

Couldn’t get any closer to the beach! Wonderful sunrises, plenty of beach toys, great fun for our 4 year old grandson. The only issue for us seniors was the solitary first floor bathroom! Otherwise heavenly.

This house was beautiful, spacious, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect, right the beach and close local attractions and restaurants. The host was fantastic! Stunning view

The house was exactly has we expected it to be according to the description. The owner was helpeful and quick to answer. The view is stunning. Everything was clean. Pretty well equiped. It’s Half of the whole House. The accessible terrasse is the one with the table and chairs. BBQ was working well. Perfect for a family vacation.

Perfect Location

4 adults slept at the house; 2 other adults spent time but stayed at nearby hotel. They parked at grocery store shopping area and we just brought them to and from as it was only a couple minutes to drive from the house. House well equipped and it was easy for everyone to hang out in the living and back room - small table in living room really connected the spaces well. Had a lot of rain, so really appreciated the indoor space/layout. Weather cleared and we enjoyed meals on the large dining table outside. Great location - right on beach. Plenty of room in driveway for our two cars.

The property Was beautiful. The manager was responsive to all questions and concerns before trip and during our stay. One thing to note is, if you’re traveling with more mature adults, the stairwell upstairs to the second floor for living space is steep and narrow.

Heaven on Earth!

We had a wonderful time. Perfect beach house, step out to the sand and surf. Close to stores and restaurants. We didn't want to leave! But, we had to get back to the real world. Host was great!

Wells Beach Getaway

The house was as advertised. Steps from the beach. The sunrises and moon rises were spectacular. There were four of us and plenty of room for us to not trip over each other. It was a wonderful weekend retreat.

Great place!

Every September, we've been staying at Wells Beach for over 10 years. We always stayed at one certain place but it was sold a few years ago so we have been staying at different places. This one is a charm! Roomy and come on! Right on the beach. It was comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to cook meals there. The host was quick to respond to any questions. It was fairly clean but let's face it, with a beach place you will have sand. The places I care about such as bathroom, kitchen and bedrooms were all very clean.There is a nice grill, a private deck, and a common area to share with neighbors. we didn't use that area but it's nice. All in all we were very pleased and I believe this will be our go-to place to stay in lovely Wells! All the bedrooms are upstairs but there are pull-out couches if you have an issue with stairs.

Cozy little cottage, clean, no frills, right on the beautiful beach in the backyard and view of the sound in the front of the house. We were able to go for long walks and 12 km runs. Great getaway place!!!!

Great Week!

We rented both sides. Wife and I stayed on one side, Kids and grandkids on the other side. Best vacation in a long time. Great place to stay. Ocean right outside the front door. Clean and comfortable. Slept like a baby.

My family and I have been vacationing at Wells Beach for the last 15-20 years. We do enjoy the family atmosphere at this beach. Before purchasing 131 Atlantic, we stayed at all the motels and hotels along Rte 1. The daily vacation drama of will we find a parking spot by the beach and packing up the car and being careful not to forget anything as we'd have to drive back to get it - (and risk losing our parking spot) was not really fun. We started staying right by the beach and our stress levels decreased dramatically. Everything about Wells in the summer is fun (see Congdon's Doughnuts, Billy's Chowder House, Mikes Clam Shack, The Steak House and even Dairy Queen). We take a lot of pride in our home and constantly look to upgrade.

If you want the positively best Wells Beach experience, then stay right on the beach. This home is the ultimate in convenience and experience. You can watch the tide come in and go out from the deck or living room. Watching the sunrise and sunset over the ocean from your comfortable chair on your deck is absolutely therapeutic. This home is also strategically located between Public Way #2 and Public Way #3. The distance from both can decrease the potential for crowds that is sometimes seen right at the exit of a Public Way. The location of this home is absolutely amazing.
