This luxury apartment is in the heart of historical downtown Rockland and has breath-taking views of the harbor and ocean beyond. There is a full eat in kitchen, laundry room, and both the oversized bedroom and beautifully furnished living room overlook Harbor Park and Peneboscot Bay. There is a private balcony/patio and parking directly behind the building. Due to Rockland city restrictions, this apartment is not available for less than 29 day rentals.
Perfect location, perfect size and perfectly furnished!
This was the best rental we have ever stayed in. From the top line bedding to the well furnished linens and kitchen. The view is unbelievable! Great communication with Meg. A+ rental. I hope we have another opportunity to stay in this wonderful home.opportunity opportunity to stay in th
My husband and I spent the month of June in Megâs apartment with a picturesque view of the Rockland harbor. One couldnât ask for a better location! Nestled between a popular seafood restaurant on one side, a boutique chocolatier on the other, the townâs most popular tavern, full of fun, quirky, salt-of-the-earth locals, is just around the corner. In addition to seafood joints we were thrilled to discover Rockland boasts three James Beard-award-winning restaurants, each one distinct and fantastic in its own right. The apartment was pristine, the bed was oh so comfy, and the shower had blasting water pressure. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed to make meals, including a fully stocked cupboard of everyday oils, spices and seasonings. Thank you so much for the delightful stay, Meg! We hope to visit again next year!
Our second visit here and our favorite place.
Terrific spot in town -window shopping, walks, bookstores, restaurants and a great ocean view! A Farmer's Market right across the street on Thursday.
The apartment is located across the street from Harbor Park which provided fantastic views. The weekly Farmers markets, all the shops and restaurants and the harbor walk are right out your door! The property was clean, well appointed and the property manager was very helpful when we had any questions. We highly recommend this apartment. We had a great month here
I liked everything but found the stairway a bit difficult for me (age).
I did not like the TV. I was looking forward to Red Sox baseball, but I could not tune them in. All in all, I was satisfied with my visit.
Hi Folks, I am excited you are considering the beautiful coast of Maine for a vacation or extended stay. I am a native Mainer, and thrilled to be back in my home state after 30 years "away". I enjoy Maine in all its seasons with winter sports, spring and summer organic vegetable gardens, farmer's markets, festivals and family fun. Of course, the autumn display of nature's colors and crisp, clean air is my favorite season. I look forward to sharing The Wheeler House with you. It is the perfect home base for your mid coast stay. It took me 30 years to come to Rockland and just sit and sigh. Don't wait.
This 2 story historic building was built around 1794, and is believed to be one of the oldest residential buildings in Rockland. It has received tasteful upgrades over the years and promises loads of character without sacrificing comfort. The location is hard to beat. It is located 1 block off downtown and has unobstructed views of Rockland Harbor.
