There was a large dead bug on the floor next to one of the beds and when I pulled down the sheet to go to bed there was a dead bug in the bed as well as a hair. Moved to one of the upstairs bedrooms and there was something that looked like ear wax on the sheet. Pulled the sheets off and washed them myself prior to going to bed. Contacted the host, they said they would change the sheets. I assumed it would be all of the sheets, this was not the case, the sheets were changed on the one with the bug. I washed the sheets on the other beds we were using as well as the bathmats as they had hair on them. The host did turn on the pool heater and allow a late check out complimentary. I was concerned about the cleanliness of rest of the unit as well.The unit is very convenient to both Disney and Universal parks. However due to the cleaning problems we will not be returning.

The home was cleaned and checked prior to your arrival as we do before any guest checks in. There were no dead bugs on the floors or the beds. I offered to replace the sheets on the bed you complained about. At no point did you ask for all of the sheets to be replaced in every room. I personally took the sheets to wash. I could not find any marks on them at all. We never heard anything else from you during your stay apart from a request for a late check out. Which we happily agreed.

Good size house. But there were issues. Somethings needed to be updated .Such as plumbing in most bathrooms.House was well equipped with ìtems they said would be there, and the pool is fantastic

Hurricane safe, perfectly located holiday villa

We all (3 generations of family) really enjoyed staying in the villa and it has everything we needed. There was plenty of space for us all and given the weather, the air con was perfect in the heat and the house was very safe during the hurricane! The bedrooms are spacious and the beds are big and comfortable, which are ideal after a long day walking around the Disney parks, which are really close! Although, using the private pool was an even better way to end the day, which we all loved. There are lots of restaurants a very short drive away and a gigantic Walmart is even closer. The villa is the perfect base to explore all that the Orlando area has to offer, with everything a short drive away. The hosts are extremely helpful and were always quick to respond to any query I had, which was very reassuring. We all agreed that we’d love to stay here again in the future, which speaks for itself!

Thank you Peter and his family for taking great care of our home. I don't know why the overall star rating was 4 star I gave peter a 5 star for sure. Peter was very respectful, followed the rules of the home, great communication before and during his stay. Left the home how it was found. I would definitely rent to Peter again in the future.

Falling ceiling

Upon entering the property i immediately noticed that water was dripping from the ceiling in the game room. Pieces of the ceiling were on the floor along with a puddle of water. Upstairs the carpet was soaked from the hallway all the way into the bedroom. The smell of mildew was overwhelming. The second bedroom upstairs has a mattress with a huge dip on the right side. I reached out to the property manager and someone came a used a stick to hold up the ceiling and towels all over the floor to absorb all the water in the carpet. We had constant interruptions throughout pur vacation because of this. Someone came a started sucking up the water while our 1 year was walking around. No one has tried to contact me since. Horrible customer service to say the least!!!!!!

May vacation

The property was very nice. We loved it there. The location was great. There were just some improvements that needed to be done. The shower in the master bedroom was cracked. Ceiling was collapsing on the second floor the deck where the pool was was leaking and the pavers were a trip hazard. The blinds were all broken. The AC in the garage did not work. Other than that, it was clean. The people were very nice. It’s just an older home that just needs a little remodeling. We would stay there again.

Returning Guests

This is the second year in a row that we have stayed at this property. The home is beautiful, comfortable, spacious bedrooms with comfy beds. The kitchen is well-equipped. There is plenty of seating, both inside and pool-side. The home is located right beside the park, very convenient for us, as we had 2 small children with us. The owners were very easy to contact, either by emaill or phone. Great place to stay! Definitely 5 stars!

Feb Windsor Hills stay

My family and I enjoyed staying at Elaine,s property at Windsor Hills. The house was very well kept and was a good fit for my family and me. We spent a number of hours in the po at the house and the community pool. We would definitely come back in the future and hope to do so. Perfect for our trip

Great space for a group or family. Excellent location for travel all around Orlando. A few minor issues were addressed immediately by the property manager. We were very pleased and would stay again!

Decent property

This home is a good place to stay. There is plenty of room for a large family. There was a high chair, a pack and play and some strollers that could be used. We only used the high chair. We originally booked this property because the listing said there was a crib. Unfortunately it was just a pack and play. We rented a crib from babyquip, which worked well. The kitchen was great, the pool was great. The biggest issue we had was that the bed in the bedroom closest to the front door was extremely uncomfortable. The pillows were not great either. The other beds were comfortable. We had an issue with some lights and tvs when we arrived. We messaged the property manager and she had someone fix them right away the next morning. Overall this was a decent place to stay.

Perfect Home away from home

Our party of 9 had a fantastic 2 weeks in this beautiful home! The kids loved the pool at the house as well as the playground and waterslides in the neighborhood. There was plenty of seating inside and out- we ate most our meals outside by the pool! All the rooms were a perfect size, beds/pillows were comfortable and the house was clean. The location of the house/neighborhood was perfect being right down the road from Walmart and tons of restaurants. There was clear easy communication throughout the whole process of booking and our stay.

Love Windsor Hills!

We are frequent visitors to Windsor Hills and have rented everything from the condos, townhouses and homes, depending on our needs at the time. This home was perfect for us, as our daughter, hubby and 2 kids, ages 6 and 4 were with us. The kids were thrilled with being able to have a sleepover together on the bunkbeds in the Spider Man room. We showed them the pics of the house before we got there and that is what they chose. The house is very spacious, well furnished, both inside and out. The seating in the living room is amazing, and there are so many chairs and lounges by the pool. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and cutlery. Minor detail, the kids wanted to eat outside and there were very few plastic plates. So we purchased throwaways. Also, we did use the oven and there were no oven mitts. Again, no big deal, we purchased what we needed. The owner/manager was very quick to respond to any queries that we had. We loved how uncluttered the home is, we had space to move around without tripping over each other or furniture. There is a games room with a pool table, fooze ball table and basketball net. Should you require them, there is a high chair, pack and play and a sit and stand stroller, which was used to take the kids to Disney. It accomodated all the stuff they brought as well as to give 2 little kids a break when they were tired of walking. The washer and dryer look brand new and worked very well. The location is perfect for little kids, it is right next door to the Castle Park and a short walk down to the Main pool and office. If this house is available on our next trip to Windsor Hills it is at the top of our list! Definitely a 5 star rating!

Great home for our vacation

This home suites our vacation needs very well. Loved the warm pool, the community center (just a quick walk away from the home), every bedroom has its own bath, lots of space for our needs, and close to the parks. If I had one suggestion for improvement… the pillows are in need of replacement/ upgrade. Very comfortable mattresses, but horrible pillows.

Met everyone's needs

This was the perfect property for our family. My husband, myself, our 3 young adult children and their 3 friends had a wonderful time. The home worked out great for us to all be together for meals, games and hanging out, but also gave everyone the space they needed to take a break. Our boys are avid gym junkies and were disappointed in the community center gym, but managed to get their workouts in everyday, lol. We paid to have the pool heated for the December week and it was wonderful, especially the spa in the evenings for those that weren't returning to the parks. We were pleasantly surprised by how short the drive was to the park. We usually stay on property and were prepared to hate the drive, but it was very easy and short. The home is close to the entrance of the development and would be perfect for a family with small children as it is next to the playground and well used. The young adults enjoyed the game room. Overall, we had a wonderful week and would stay here again. Great communication with the owners as well. Thank you!

Great for family vacations!

The house was large and had plenty of room for a large family. The kitchen was equipped pretty well for cooking in. The kids enjoyed the foosball and basketball games and the pool table. All in all, the stay was great. We could have used some more towels and washcloths and maybe trash bags and liquid detergent for the sink, as there were no cleaning supplies there. The community pool and water slides were great! We would definitely stay again if ever in the area.

Great Stay

We booked this trip with family and the house met our accommodation needs. Within close distance to the Disney parks and the property owners were quick and responsive with all of our inquiries and any concerns or maintenance needs. The pool in the back and park located right next to the house was a hit for the kids.

The house was everything the pictures showed. Easy to get to and close to Disney! The few things I would say is need more cupboard space, the hot tub was alittle dirty but didn’t keep us out of it. Would defiantly stay there again.

We will rent this again!

This was such a nice house. Very clean, all nice size bedrooms with a bath for each bedroom. Plenty of dishes and utensils. All flat screen TVs in every room worked!, Pool was beautiful and very clean with nice , large surrounding patio. Loved the proximity to Disney and Wal Mart. We will stay here again. Thank you for making our trip so comfortable🙂
