Magnifiquement meublé, spacieux et confortable, deux étages, trois chambres, deux salles de bain condo au bord du lac avec un foyer au bois, WiFi gratuit, télévision par câble, lecteur DVD et laveuse / sécheuse. Junipine a une cuisine complète avec cuisinière / four, réfrigérateur à double porte, lave-vaisselle, micro-ondes, mixeur, grille-pain, cafetière, vaisselle, casseroles / poêles, et plus encore. Great condo rental!

The complex is right on the lake and we enjoyed both the pool and the hot tub! Plenty of parking. The dumpsters are convenient, because you don't have to drive to the disposal/recycling sight.

The condo was beautifully decorated. There was a pool nearby. We found everything needed for the stay. The only flaws were the lake was fairly far away and the traffic noise.

The place was perfectly appointed and ready to accommodate guests. Our concern was the smell of cigarette smoke that was present in all the towels. Although they had been washed they still emitted a very strong and unpleasant odor.

Great Cabin

Family had an awesome New Years experience. The checkin and out process was seamless. The staff was friendly, and the cabin was like a home away from home. Very clean. Would return for some snow play

The placie was nice and clean inside. I had to call the office to bring some new pans because the Teflon was scratched odd and they brought me new ones right away, that was nice! The only bad thing is the loud non-stop traffic.

Nice condo

Well-maintained and clean property. Our daughter enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Some noise from the road, but only the sound of cars on the road, so not a big deal. Some ants in the condo but comes with the terrain. Management company better than ones we’ve rented with previously. Would book again!

Discover Big Bear Lake

Our daughter just moved to Costa Mesa and we live in Texas. We wanted to find a place to meet that was in the mountains yet close to her. Big Bear Lake is a perfect location and the cabin for four adults well. The only strange thin about it was that one of the extra bedrooms was upstairs so that person had to either share the main bedroom bath or go downstairs. There were also some maintenance issues in the kitchen. Hiking was great, the pontoon boat was a bit cold but that is expected in June. We will be back

Junipine Lakefront Condo

We had a nice time at our stay at this condo. However, as I stated in my text to you, when I pulled some plates and cups from the cupboard, I saw that they were not clean, they had dried food and coffee here and there. We had to wash those plates, cups, glasses, silverware, pots and pans we used before we used them. That was annoying. The condo was fine, we had stayed at this complex a few years ago at similar condo. This one was fine, altho the kitchen cabinets could use some updating. All in all, we were satisfied with our stay at this condo. Would've given it 5 stars had it not been for the dirty dishes.

Not Lakefront; Right on highway

I hate leaving bad reviews, but I wish I had been warned. This listing is misleading. This is not a "lakefront condo". Yes, if you read on it says "walking distance to lake" but leading with "Lakefront condo" is wildly inaccurate. The entire complex is lakefront, but this unit is not close. Conversely, the master bedroom is on the main highway through Big Bear and extremely noisy. We hoped to open the windows for the night air and it is far too loud. The windows must be closed. The management was very courteous and helpful on the phone - I would like to recommend them based on my interaction with management, but this unit is overpriced and disappointing.

Hi, James! Thank you for staying with us. We understand that the name might be confusing, but the property description does clarify this with a note stating, "(Note: Complex is lakefront, but Junipine Lakefront Condo does not face the lake)." This is not meant to be misleading, and if you read the description, you would have seen this. Additionally, the photos do not depict the condo as being directly lakefront. However, you do have access to the lake through the complex.

Cute, but we are picky

Add a glance this place is quite cute. A good location and nicely decorated. But once inside you can tell the cleaning crew does not pay attention to detail which bothers me. Cobwebs in all of the windowsills and windows, hanging from the ceiling. Dirty cupboards in the bathrooms which makes you wonder how clean the bathrooms really are. Stains on the towels. Deck was filthy and there’s no way we could’ve sat out there and less we did a lot of cleaning ourselves. The check in process was not simple. Lots of back-and-forth required and I found it to be unnecessary as I also am an owner on Vrbo and do not require any of these extra procedures of my guests to check in. It’s a shame it’s managed by a property management company because I think the owner would probably do a much better job if they did it themselves. Property management just doesn’t love a home like an owner does. We also had an issue with the fireplace which caused tons of smoke throughout the unit and created a problem for our family. Cops were called for the neighbors next-door who got too rowdy. Not an issue that the owners can help but I wonder if this is a good neighborhood to be renting in. We will not stay here again although there were many nice things about it like I loved the white sheets and the floor plan and wood floors, things like that. Kitchen was not stocked very well, no wine glasses and not enough decent plates and glasses... Seemed very mismatched And like these are just extras the owner through together for a vacation place.

I have forwarded this review to our Housekeeping Manager and one of our Inspectors to take a look at. We do take the managing of our homes extremely seriously and we will address all issues mentioned. This home is in a fantastic area of Big Bear, I do apologize for any altercation that occurred as that is very uncommon. Our check-in process is a bit more complicated when anyone besides the credit card holder check-in (because we want to protect our credit card holders). Typically, you would just sign the rental agreement online, send the front and back of your ID, CC and then just stop by the office to show the CC & ID and give you the check-in instructions. The sending of these items is temporary during Covid-19 as we are trying to limit/avoid having our staff members touch people’s personal items ordinarily we check these items at check-in. Great Stay!

The condo was very clean and comfortable. The management team is very responsive. They 24hour text line was very helpful and much appreciated. We had a maintenance request that we texted to that line, and they sent someone over to address it very promptly. The check-in process was a bit tedious since someone from my group arrived earlier than I did, and their name was not on the reservation. Other than that, everything was very smooth, and we enjoyed our stay very much!

We are glad to hear that you had a great stay at our property apart from the issues that you encountered. Our maintenance department does their best to fix any issue so this does not interfere with your stay. We are glad that they were able to get the issue fixed promptly. We are very sorry that the check-in process was difficult. Due to city code, we must have the person that paid for the unit check-in. Unless, you send all the necessary documents that we need in order to authorize someone else to check-in, we are not able to check another in under the reservation until we have verified the person that booked the property and make sure that they authorize the other person.
