This was a perfect house for our lake vacation! Very clean and well stocked kitchen. The dock is great along with a very nice quiet spot on the lake. We will definitely look to book this house again!

The property is lovely! Everything was well labeled and easy to locate. The kayaks and SUP were a big hit with all ages. The high dive platform was enjoyed by kids and adults.The teens put the theater room to good use.We were having such a good time on the water, we never got to use the outside games!The weather was perfect all week!

We had a wonderful stay in Bracey to celebrate my husbands 80th birthday. The house and grounds were very clean and well designed. The kitchen was very well stocked and everything organized. I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a quiet restful stay.

Great Lake Week!

Our family had a great time at the lake house. There was plenty of space for all 20 of us and Matt and Carolyn were excellent hosts. Highly recommend!

Great stay at the lake

Our three families really enjoyed our stay. The house had plenty of space and amenities. We rented a boat and enjoyed using the dock. Would highly recommend.

Perfect place for our family vacation

From the comfort and cleanliness of the house to the the lake and jumping off the boathouse roof, everyone in our group thoroughly enjoyed our week. Not to mention the perfect weather without a drop of rain.

Wonderful lake vacation spot!

This home provided a wonderful getaway for our family and friends, and the location on a large creek just off of the main lake makes it perfect for boating, jet skiing, and swimming. The new dock is amazing and the home is very spacious and comfortable. The owners were super friendly and responsive to all questions, and our family definitely plans to return to this rental!!

We’ve been going to the lake as a family for almost ten years and this is our first rental where the owner controlled the thermostat. It did not work for us. I had to contact him three days a row (he was quick to respond) to turn the thermostat down as the bunk room in the lower level stayed hot. There is also an upstairs bedroom that is only accessible by a narrow set of spiral stairs or by going up a regular staircase to the other upstairs bedroom, going out on the balcony and then going into that bedroom. That should have been disclosed in the listing in my opinion. We did not use it. The home was clean and we had plenty of space for our family. The dock was the highlight and we made great use of it; we enjoyed the view and deep water there. However, family would not rent there again.

Thank you for the retaliatory review. Thank you for making such a mess in my house that my Cleaner spent many extra hours cleaning. Thank you for taking items that didn’t belong to you from my house. Thank you for calling me and texting me every day that things didn’t work in my house, which of course they did. Thank you for being the worst guest. I’ve had in many years and making me never want to rent to anyone else again.

Spring Break

My family had a wonderful time. There’s more than enough parking for the whole crew. The beds were comfortable and the fishing was excellent. What more could you ask for?

My family stayed for Thanksgiving and we all enjoyed our time at the lake house. There was plenty of kitchen appliances and pantry space. We had all we needed to cook big meals for the 13 of us. The kids enjoyed the game table downstairs and basketball hoop. The fire pit was also a big plus. The Dollar General Market that was right down the street was very convenient for small things.

We have been to Lake Gaston 5 different years and this was by far the most enjoyable and comfortable stay we have ever had away from home. We look to come back again next year. Thank you for sharing your loving home with us.

Perfect Stay

I had an amazing experience with casa del lago! Their listing was accurate, their instructions for the stay were very clear, and the house was in a prime location for our needs. Very clean with a scenic view and lots of fun to be had! Highly recommend.

Best Spot on Gaston

We loved the double decker dock with jumping platform! Deep water (17ft) in a quiet section of the lake. Excellent spot for skiing, wakeboarding and tubing! House was big enough for our group.

Wonderful Family Vacation

My kids LOVED having access to the Kayaks to take out on the lake, and my husband had the best time fishing! The property owners were wonderful and super responsive when needed! I’d love to stay there again for a longer amount of time! ❤️

Relaxing lake weekend

We had a wonderful time at the lake house with 3 generations of our family. Everyone had fun fishing from the dock, and the space worked well for everyone to have room to spread out if needed. The dock is peaceful and boat traffic is minimal in the cove. Check-in and check-out were easy, and the host provided lots of good advice for the local area. It was a great Mother's Day weekend treat for us!

Great Place

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Del Lago! The views of the lake were absolutely stunning. The property was well-organized, spotless, and everything we needed was provided. The owner was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. We stayed over Thanksgiving, and although it was a bit chilly, we still had a great time enjoying the lake, kayaking, and using the paddle board. Highly recommend!
