Niché dans un coin tranquille de Blackheath se trouve Wattle Glen.

La paix et l'intimité sont assurées à votre arrivée dans ce charmant chalet au bout de la voie bordée d'arbres.

Un salon ouvert et lumineux avec de grandes fenêtres donnant sur Pope's Glen et le cadre de brousse naturel environnant.

Il y a trois chambres à coucher principale avec un lit queen et salle de bains, une autre avec un lit queen et deux lits simples dans la 3ème chambre.

Une luxueuse salle de bain principale avec un grand spa ovale aide à se détendre après une journée d'exploration.

L'ambiance du feu à combustion lente assure une nuit d'hivers froids sera maintenue à distance.

La cuisine a tout ce dont vous avez besoin, y compris un lave-vaisselle. Et la buanderie se compose d'une machine à laver pour votre confort.

À distance de marche ou à quelques minutes en voiture du village principal où vous pourrez tenter vos papilles dans les nombreux cafés et restaurants ou explorer la variété des magasins.

Tout près se trouve le majestueux parcours de golf de Blackheath, de nombreuses promenades dans la brousse et la vallée de Megalong.

Absolute Gem

Perfect amount of space for 2 couples, close to everything, well appointed. The spa was massive (and a big highlight), the kitchen had everything we needed, and the beds were comfy. Particulary impressed with how fast the hot water came on and no issues with it running out, even in April when it was getting quite cool.

Great property, and great location. Plenty of room for a family of 5, everything works how it should, very clean and tidy . Would love to come back for another visit. Highly recommend!

Fantastic place to stay

4 of us stayed there very comfortably. 2 bathrooms is always great. The spa bath was also large enough for 2 people. Will definitely go back if in Blackheath.

Winter Break at Wattle Glen

We absolutely loved our time in Blackheath. The cottage is warm, and the open plan family room / kitchen is absolutely beautiful . We fired up the combustion wood heater and loved every minute of the stay.

Wattle Glen was perfect for our family over the Christmas week.

Wattle Glen is delightful and so pleaceful, nestled in the bush. It fitted our extended family perfectly. We were so pleased to find all the equipment we needed to prepare our Christmas contributions for our Blackheath family celebrations.

Fabulous property

The house was great. Quiet location, very clean, good sized rooms. I would be very happy to go back again! Only constructive criticism I may offer is that we felt the house maybe needed a few more doonas/ blankets for the beds.

Great value cottage

Fabulous property overlooking the bush. Comfortable beds, very large bath and fire were highlights. The pantry was stocked with the basics. Would recommend and would stay again. The agent gave us the wrong door code but they answered the after hours number and provided the correct one.

Beautiful cottage with fantastic views

We had a lovely stay in the mountains, beautiful outlook, lovely walks nearby, and a comfortable and warm house to come back to. Minor hiccup at check in: the code for the lock box was incorrect. The correct code had been sent in a previous email, so we figured it out OK, but good to note for improvement. Thanks for a great stay

A lovely winter escape

The house was well appointed and very cosy with the slow combustion heater. We very much enjoyed our stay! Worth noting is the extremely steep access to the front door - we knew that there were a couple of steps inside, but the photos did not reveal just how difficult negotiating the driveway would be. It would be worth mentioning this in the posting of the property.

It’s was cost with the fire and a leafy location but abit tricky streets and park. Beautiful home

It was good. When something didn’t work they fixed it straight away. The fire was amazing. The carport was a little dangerous so one of us had to park somewhere else which was tricky because the streets were narrow.

Tranquil location in Blackheath

We enjoyed our stay, beds are good and bedrooms nice. The house is well equipped with a fantastic spa bath and lovely wood stove. However, if you want to watch movies, bring a speaker which you can connect, as the TV sound is not good at all. There is only Telstra mobile reception (very patchy reception otherwise) and as there's no WiFi, be prepared for an internet-free stay. There is no coffee maker so BYO coffee. The house is nice and cosy, but these days, a coffee maker, WiFi and half-way decent TV could be included.

Comfortable & Cosy

We had a great stay. The house is well laid out with a great open plan kitchen living and dining space with a lovely fire. The house was clean and spacious and the beds comfortable. The house is in a nice quiet lane - walking distance to the shops with heaps of gorgeous bush walks nearby. Unfortunately there was no hot water on our arrival and we had to wait till the morning for a hot shower - maybe the guests before us had a spa and used it all? The bath mat in the main bathroom was also sopping wet when we arrived. I would also suggest the addition of a wooden spoon & potato masher in the kitchen. Otherwise a well equipped kitchen.

Excellent comfortable house and location

We had a great time , everything was very clean and comfortable and it was very cosy to relax in front of the fireplace. Appreciated that there were basic ingredients like tea, oil and spices in the kitchen.

Adult family of 6

Warm & cosy with plenty of room for our teen/adult family. Full kitchen for self catering was well equipped. Bonus having the washing machine. A few books and board games for those rainy afternoons in front of the fire. Drive is a bit tricky being narrow down a slope especially if you have a large 4wd, but can be easily reversed into down the lane way. We had a great visit and would definitely stay again.

Good potential

Many issues disrupted the beginning of our stay including cleaners having not come, tv cable to antennae not installed and fire place not adequately maintained. Thankfully these were resolved by the second day of our stay however they did cause some disruption to our holiday. The property was well situated and relaxing to stay in.

Relaxing getaway

Such a cosy house. It was really clean and the sheets and towels fresh. Beds were really comfortable. The fireplace is divine. The perfect setting and location for 3 friends to spend the weekend.
