Porched est une maison de 3 chambres située juste en face de Brighton Reserve et à 130 mètres de la plage.

Cette base de plage moderne, décontractée et ouverte est parfaite pour une échappée!
Fantastique pour les enfants avec le parc de l'autre côté de la rue et à quelques pas de la plage.

Un excellent emplacement dans le très populaire North End, à proximité du café, du Surf Club et de la RSA ... à distance de marche du Flat White Cafe.

Doté de 2 chambres équipées chacune d'un lit queen et 1 chambre équipée de 2 ensembles de lits superposés.

Dehors, il y a deux ponts - avant et arrière - pour se divertir.
Le pont avant a été prolongé et fait face au nord - magnifique au soleil. 2 ensembles de portes coulissantes créant une vie de plage intérieure / extérieure.

Une cuisine moderne pour montrer vos talents culinaires avec ces délicieux repas des fêtes. Pendant que les plats sont au lave-vaisselle, profitez-en pour poser vos pieds sur le pont dans l’air du soir avec un verre de vin.

Le double vitrage / isolation et la thermopompe le rendent confortable en hiver et frais en été.

Le Wi-Fi illimité vous permet de rester connecté même en votre absence.

A great place to stay

A lovely property in a great location with a very short walk to the beach. My parents stayed here and found the property very comfortable. Really good communication from the owner. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Perfect location

This tidy house was perfect for our family of 5. We were so pleased with the location, just a very short stroll to the lifeguarded end of the beach. The host was very communicative and accommodating.comfortable stay and would definitely be back

Adequate accommodation

Bach was very tired and could do with renovating. Plenty of games available which was good because the tv didn't work. Average cleanliness but the shower wasn't up to a standard I would expect. A cyclone had been through area and the whole place felt damp. It was a great location and we still enjoyed our stay.

Lovely place for a holiday, but communication needs improvement.

Great location, 2 minute walk to beach.Interior of bach is compact and modern, great lounge area, bedrooms are quite small. Fine for the four of us. Exterior, rear deck and outside shower do need some urgent maintenance /repair.Good location for cyclists and I recommend the Waihi Beach to Bowentown ride and the rails trail from Waihi to Waikino. The walk to Orokawa Bay is also stunning.There is quite a lot of construction and building repair work occurring in the street and we had two tradespeople carry out minor works on the property while we were staying there so suggest you check before booking, what construction is going on in the area and the property.

Thank you taking the time to review our house . There are beautiful rides and walks around the area. I am unsure of the repair work in the street you are meaning other than a house being renovated further down the street which is out of our control and has never been an issue before . Our property is never booked out when gardeners come in however we do apologise in this case as they were supposed to come when the house was not booked the following week . We had no advise at all ourselves that this was happening . They have been spoken to regarding this . We also do ensure that any bookings are advised prior to staying in the unlikely event that a tradesman was needing to come to the property .

Totally dissapointed !

Absolutely filthy ,toilet seat stained and yellow ,inside oven dirty .Cut my toe on broken tile in kitchen .Went to use BBQ omg wouldnt try to cook on that Absolutely disgusting .Was torally disappointment, cupboards have stuff chucked everywhere 3 teaspoons .Open ceiling in laundry ,so you can see pink bats .No way will i recomend this ,the cleaners need sacked .Julie host was great as we forgot sheets and helped us our but seriously needs a good deep clean .Was a total dissapointing werkend

Thank you for your feedback We were disappointed to hear your views about the cleaning We take this very seriously as reflected in the positive reviews from our previous guests. I understand you read the listing incorrectly and we did our upmost to assist you by scrambling to provide towels and linen which we did at no cost. As for the the toilet seat ,ironically any discolouration is due to frequent cleaning with dettol . A replacement is already on order. We appreciate your stay and feedback as it helps us continue to improve.

Close to the beach and comfortable

Nice and compact. Proximity to beach and ammenities great. Heat pump didn't work but a backup oil heater was adequate. Miscommunication with manager and cleaner meant the place was a little unkempt. Didn't spoil the vist. Promised a refund of cleaning fee yet to occur 10 d later.

Bach on Brighton

Nice bach on a quiet street, close to the beach, and the Brighton reserve. Excellent kitchen and barbecue made meals a breeze. Would definitely recommend for up to 6 people.

27brighton road is quintessential new zealand holiday bach in which you can relax and use as a very convenient location to the beautiful beach and the local amenities, A great place to stay even with a building site next door and an night owl neighbour who plays loud music til the wee hours,

So happy you enjoyed your stay. Our neighbours have been in the process of building a beautiful new home beside us which I understand is now nearing completion. Yes location is super being so close to the beautiful north end of beach and all its attractions.

Good location, pluses and minuses with house

On arrival we were given a full page of cleaning and maintenance tasks we were expected to do on departure, but it seemed there was no checking that equipment was maintained. There were multiple examples. On arrival I had to replace batteries in heat pump remote before it would work to cool very hot house, and oven thermostat was non-functional. Owner replaced stove, which we were grateful for, since we had to cook a Christmas dinner for seven! I have owned and rented out a beach bach so I understand the challenges, Staying here would be more enjoyable if maintenance was not entirely dependent on renters.

The oven had previously been working with no complaint from previous tenant and as soon as this had been bought to our attention we purchased and installed a brand new oven within hours. This was very challenging on Christmas Eve. We do hope you had a lovely holiday other than this.

Ok Stay.

Overall was a nice stay but a small size home. Pity it rained most of the weekend forcing us to stay indoors most of the time. This however uncovered a few things - 1 of the bunk bed mattresses was more like a base to a single bed - making it a very hard mattress for our son to sleep on.. The room were nice but very small. Most of the board games had bits and pieces missing from them - jenga set was good and so we're the cards. Only other concern we had was the cleanliness of the home. We found socks/underwear under the bunks that we threw out, old plastic dirty bag stuffed in one of the cupboards, the living room chair covers need a wash. Other than these few things it was a nice stay the home is stunning and with a few pick me up things could be better - Loved the location. Lockbox outside would be beneficial- however communication was good for a second spot to pick up... Thanks

Great little bach to suit a long weekend

The bach itself is great, we had 4 adults and 4 kids and there was enough room for us. Great kitchen and living area, comfy beds, suitable bathroom and free wi-fi was a bonus. Weather was a little iffy so we didnt use the outdoor area but bbq in summer would be lovely. Overall cleanliness was good but there was a broken ceiling panel in the laundry area. Checking in and out was inconvenient; there's no lockbox on site so you have to go to the First National office in town to collect the key. Fine on arrival as we arrived in the afternoon but we left to go home before the 10am check out time and the office wasnt open. A lock box would be perfect, especially if you want to arrive or leave outside of office hours.

Porched at Waihi Beach

The bach was superbly located and got all day sunshine! It was clean and tidy upon arrival and very easy to live in. We had a lovely holiday - thanks so much to the owner for allowing us to rent her special home.

Lovely Rental and Great location

Stayed at Porched for a couple of nights. Inside the house was clean, warm and nice to spend time in. Nice outside covered deck at rear of house which was great to use and keep out of the wind! Close to the beach and playground. Would happily stay here again. Thank you for letting us stay here.
