Perfect getaway at Waihi Beach

We had a lovely stay at this property - 3 adults & a small dog. The property was perfect for the dog as it was an enclosed area. The property itself was clean & tidy, and of a high standard.

Lovely home with lots of space in an excellent quiet location. It was fun to be able to use the bikes to get around. We stayed a whole month and would definitely love to stay again. The only thing I would note is that there was a fan available for each room but no air conditioning as noted in the listing.

Hidden Gem

We booked late in the year and were limited in our choices. Things were looking tricky with red light on the way. The house was fully catered for 6 people; linen, towels, bikes, beds and boogie boards. This was an absolute delight!! Due to not reading the description properly I wasn't aware that guests were not intended to stay over but Ro was very accommodating and allowed us to have the odd extra camp in the spacious yard. The dog enjoyed the freedom, the kids enjoyed the wifi 🤦 and the adults enjoyed the private garden and Australian Open on the SKY tv on the big screen. This was the perfect setting for our bi-annual family holiday with mum when she visits from Aussie and will definitely book again for a smaller family retreat with the wife and kids. Carlos

Home Away From Home

Thanks for a wonderful stay! This property is beautifully clean and well maintained, with very comfortable beds and fresh, clean linen provided. There was plenty of room for us all and we really enjoyed the sunny, private garden (as did our wee dog who was also well catered for). The location was great - easy walk to the beach and shops. Highly recommend this property and would happily return. Thanks again!

Beautifully relaxing and easy care

Caters for all. We had bbq's, tv, good food storage, clear instructions where all commodities were, and plenty of room for outdoor games if not at the beach. We could hear the sea and easily walk there.

Beautiful gardens and well laid out property

We enjoyed our stay over the Christmas holidays and the property was great. Had everything we needed. The only suggestion would be to advise in the description that this property is not stand alone it is actually attached to the owners house and there is also a door in the property that is connected to the owners place. The owners were lovely and accommodating and after the initial few days went away so we did feel like we had privacy.

Our young family had a wonderful stay at this property. It’s wonderfully close to coffee in the township, clean, and has beautiful grounds where our children enjoyed playing.

Awesome! Exactly what we needed

The property was perfect for our family. The garden is big enough for the kids to ride their bikes around and is secure. 5 minutes walk to shops , cafe and beach. Sky movies was a fab bonus for the one rainy day we had too and the evenings. Also we didn't need to bring any games as they had a big collection and also some neat books and dinosaurs for the little one. I would definitely recommend and would love to come back next year. Lots of thanks for a lovely relaxing week ☺
