Joli cottage, avec cheminées et poutres d'origine, proche de la plage de sable fin, Great Yarmouth et Sea Life Centre à proximité. . Rez-de-chaussée: Salon avec poutres. Cuisine / salle à manger. Toilette séparée Escalier raide menant au premier étage: 2 chambres: 1 double, 1 double, toutes deux avec accès à la salle de douche et aux toilettes. Poêle à bois électrique inclus. NSH, électricité, draps et serviettes inclus. Freesat TV. DVD et petite bibliothèque. Cuisinière électrique. Four micro onde. Machine à laver. Lave-vaisselle. Réfrigérateur. Wifi. Jardin clos avec terrasse et mobilier. Barbecue. Parking sur la route. Ne pas fumer.. Ce charmant gîte de vacances du XVIIIe siècle avec jardin clos se trouve à seulement quelques centaines de mètres de la plage de sable fin (les chiens tout au long de l’année) et des dunes. Il a été restauré avec amour, en conservant les cheminées nouvelle extension ajoutée pour 2019. Bonne marche et vélo de la porte. Great Yarmouth, 9 miles, pour la fête foraine, Sea Life Centre, village modèle et centre sportif avec parc aquatique. Norfolk Broads, 6 milles. La réserve naturelle de Hickling, le parc animalier Thrigby Hall et Filby Broad se trouvent à moins de 15 km. Shop 300 yards, pub 200 yards.

age with easy access to the dunes and beach. Very near shops and pub. Clean and tidy throughout. No good if you are elderly because of the stairs. It has a downstairs loo by the dining room which saves go up the stairs during the day.

Cosy cottage with all the facilities you need for a lovely break by the sea. Very short walk to the beach and dunes, along which you can walk for hours in either direction. Pub just around the corner (covid-closed during my visit, sadly), cafe and shop around the other corner. Very thoughtful and attentive owners. I was working as well as holidaying - wifi was strong and stable throughout the whole building. I can thoroughly recommend - though using the staircase does require a little concentration! Spent a lovely week mid October at Beach Cottage, Winterton.

Spent a lovely week mid October at Beach Cottage, Winterton. Very cosy and has everything you need should you wish to cook a full meal. The Matresses and covers and all bedding were spotlessly clean, despite it being late in the season. The new extension with downstairs loo is very convenient, as the Staircase, typical of fishermans Cottage is like an enclosed spiral, so not suited for those with mobility issues, but we mastered it quickly ! Just a minutes walk from the pub, where the portions are enormous and great quality. Very friendly staff and covid safe. Just a couple of minutes walk down the private road opposite, down the alleyway at the end and you are on the dunes. Doggy Heaven ! Just under 2 miles to the right takes you to Hemsby, or 3 to the left takes you to Horsey and the wonderful seal colony. You will also see seals in the water at Winterton Beach. A lovely relaxing break after a tough year for all. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

An excellent week.

An excellent week. A lovely cottage in an A1 location. More people around than usual for us as we usually holiday a fortnight or so later in the year (and more staycationers this year due to Covid). The only disadvantage is that there is no off - street parking, but we found a spot right outside the cottage, so unloading/loading the car was no problem. Very dog friendly with an enclosed front garden that is unoverlooked from the road. We have booked for a second visit next year! Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

We enjoyed staying at Beach Cottage.

We enjoyed staying at Beach Cottage. There were minor details lacking like a bread knife and no bin liner or sufficient toilet rolls better fixtures for towels in the bathroom. It would have been really nice to have a tray of tea and biscuits after a long journey . Overall, we enjoyed the location and Winterton.

Lovely cottage in idyllic village. Very closed to the beach which was ideal for our dogs all year round. The cottage was well equipped and comfy. The garden is small and could have done with the lawn cutting. The staircase is steep so not suitable for young children or elderly people. Phil the owner was very attentive and helpful.

First impression was poor.

First impression was poor. The grass needed cutting, the garden furniture was left about untidily and you have to crouch in a cobweb-y corner to access the key safe. There was a plastic tray catching drips behind the toilet in the bathroom.This cottage did not compare favourably with others we have stayed in.

Loved our week in winterton on sea . Cottage is Ideally situated with the beach so close and the local pub even closer for our evening meals. Our dog Floyd loved it as well especially the beach. Will be returning next year at some point. ?

We had a lovely stay.

We had a lovely stay. The cottage is very cosy, spacious with a brand new conservatory and a small bathroom downstairs. We were the first guests to experience the new features and we enjoyed the space. Also the cottage is very close to the beautiful beaches and Norfolk coastal paths. And Phil, the owner, was very kind and assisted us with various tasks. We will book it again.
