Great location. Close to many restaurants and much more.We had a complaint and we called and left a message and nobody cared to call us back. Our complaint was a very strong cat urine smell. We washed the floors a few times but that didnât help at all. Not good for ones with allergies. The whole place could use a paint job, very dirty.
Fantastic apartment in Genoa! Excellent location, central to everything. Great restaurants right downstairs. Clean, AC, comfortable, and washer comes in handy. Not the greatest view but the balcony is nice. Recommend!
Awesome apartment close to downtown and cruise ships
What a clean and centrally located apartment. The owner gave us a detailed rundown of the apartment, area and local restaurants. We will stay here again.
This was a great place to rent for our stay. We arrived early and they were kind enough to let us leave our luggage as we roamed the city! The aquarium was so close and a great place to visit. Would highly recommend!
We had a lovely stay at this flat close to a lot of attractions. Food shop close enough & choice for self catering and flat had enough pans plates glasses etc. We were met by the owners Father who was a lovely man, who helped me with my case and showed us where everything was. It was perfect for our 4 night stay with 2 teenage boys.
We really enjoyed our stay here - it's well located and fitted out and the daily breakfast at the bar below was a great bonus. Just two niggles: the listing didn't mention that tax would be payable on arrival and in cash - it would have been helpful to know this in advance; the listing says there is a washing machine - there is, but it isn't plumbed in so is not usable.
We stayed at the apartment for 2 nights with our kids and had an amazing time. All the sites are within walking distance and the area feels very safe. The apartment is very spaciuos and part of a new build complex right in the middle of the port with a cafe-bar downstairs. Would stay again. Quick tip for the local supermarkets, they're hard to spot! Google maps gets you close but its a small entrance so easy to walk past!
the city is alive and you're steps away from all the action. public transportation is nearby, walking distance. Ali is the best of hosts and we ran into him several times while we were wandering around. one of the very best things about this apartment is that you're on the backside of the building where it's quieter and more private. the apartment is well-appointed and very clean. would stay again in a heartbeat.
Great location and very clean. Met at time of arrival by property manager and at check out. Only suggestion is regarding the parking. Google maps does not show the street to enter on. Perhaps a picture of where to turn in would be helpful or a statement if you reach the Submarine you went one street too far.
Nice place, but it could have used some additional comfortable chairs in the living room. The deck could use some sprucing up. The linens were great, and the beds were comfortable. We were there at a very hot time, so the building was very hot. Thankfully there was an air conditioner in the apartment. It's central to most of the popular areas of Genoa. Although, we weren't too crazy about the city. Mostly we left daily for destinations along the coast, such as Portofino and CinqueTerre.
This was a nice little apartment on the Genova waterfront. Itâs located next to the maritime museum and a few little restaurants. You do not get a view of the water from the apartment - your view is of another building, but the location is still good. Short walk to the old harbor and aquarium. The historical sites and many other restaurants in downtown Genova are a little further, but still easily walkable. The weather was hot while we were there, but by keeping the curtains closed and using the one a/c unit installed in the apartment, were able to keep the apartment comfortable enough to sleep. The slipcover for the small couch was rather dingy, but the apt was otherwise clean.
The pros were that checkin was easy, apartment was clean, location is good, very safe property.
The cons are that itâs a bit of a process to get to the apartment. There are elevators but itâs a walk. The view of the apartment is not great. I thought from the photos that the view was of the boats in the harbor, but thatâs the view from the building. The actual apartment overlooks another building. The other con is that the beds are extra firm. Some people may like that, however for us it was not comfortable.
The property itself is good. It's clean and has everything you need to spend some time in Genoa. The location gets the highest rating possible - it's close to everything you want to see in Genoa and the little pizza/sandwich/coffee shop at the base of the apartments was a fabulous recommendation by our host.
The not so good...air conditioning doesn't even come close to keeping up so we had a couple of very moist days. If you don't have a car, it's fine, but if you are like us and rent one, the lack of good directions to get you to the parking area is a huge challenge (which, by the way, is also in a great location - use it if you have a car, just get very specific directions on how to get there).
Some of this was definitely on us - I don't speak Italian so the language barrier was a little bit of a challenge. The host (or her agent) was good about getting back to us on our questions, though, and we used WhatsApp to communicate and translate, which helped a lot.
I would definitely stay here again as long as the air was tweaked or if I was there at a different time of year.
Struttura a due passi dallâacquario e dal terminal delle navi da crociera. Ottima assistenza ed alloggio grande e pulito. Un grazie ad Ali per la sua disponibilitĂ .
Bella struttura e appartamento confortevole.
