Communication with our host was great. Very nice location, enjoyed the restaurant right next door very much. The apartment was clean and comfy. Thank you for the stay.
The location and size of the property were fantastic! Maurizio was attentive and helpful when we needed his help with the operation of the air conditioning units. However, the place lacked basic supplies like a wine opener, paper towels or kitchen towels. The couch was torn and beat up. The table was rocky and flimsy, hard to hold a laptop on it without it shaking. The closet had boxes and plastic all over ( messy). The faucet in the kitchen danced around like it was never properly installed. The front door handle came off when we tried to open the door. In general, the decor and pictures did not fit the functionality and level of sophistication we anticipated. I know Maurizio had just been in an accident and perhaps that is why the place was in such a state. I hope this helps to improve the apartment because the location was great.
Apartment is only steps away from Piazza del Popolo, Spanish Steps, restaurants, shopping and the subway. There are two separate bedrooms and bathrooms, both with showers (one with shower and tub). The living room is furnished a bit oddly, as there are two sofas facing each other, but with a dining table in between. Maurizio was super accommodating by helping us to check-in somewhat earlier than we had planned. Thank you, Maurizio! Overall, a great place for a stay in Rome.
This is the best location and close to important sight seeing in Rome. Safe neighborhood. Owner was very nice and communicated quickly. Check in was very thorough and everything well explained. Layout of unit is nice and quiet. Will be requesting to stay again next time we are in Rome.
We were a group of two couples. The location was great and the two bedroom layout worked very well. The apartment was clean. Just a few things that we wished we had. The kitchen did not have any tea towels and wash cloths. We were only given one key to the apartment between four adults. Not ideal. Easy fixes. Would come back again.
Our host was beyond incredible and absolutely welcoming! We were made to feel at home right away! Location couldn't be more ideal for walking to restaurants, landmarks, and the mini market literally below was a plus. We really enjoyed our stay here.
Very nice place, exactly as described. Location is superb, almost everything can be reached on foot. Everything works and in a very good condition, if not brand new, air condition, appliances, faucets, showers. Great mattress and nice linens. Clean and very quiet. The apartment is adequately equipped. Hostâs suggestions for food were very good, one place is literally next door. Convenience stories also a next door on the other side. Communication with the host is very easy, he answers very quickly. Highly recommend
Welcome retreat at the end of long touring days. Mauricio did an excellent job of walking us through the property. Great communication. Flexible and kind host.
The apartment is exactly as depicted, Maurizio is a wonderful host, very responsive to any requests or questions.
His check-in process is very thorough, therefore, they want that many questions to ask,
The beds are comfortable, large closet in the primary bedroom.
A washing machine was a unexpected surprise!
The location was so perfect! Just inside the north gate of historic Rome! They met us at the apartment when we arrived and told us all about the area and how to get around. The apartment was exactly what we needed and enough room to relax after our days of activities. The apartment was very clean overall, the floors just needed to be washed a bit.
We wore socks/shoes and it was just fine! I would absolutely stay again!
Our stay in Rome was lovely!! Maurizio the host was attentive, accommodating and always responded immediately to any questions we had along the way. During our entire booking he was extremely helpful. Maurizio set up airport transportation for us and met us at the apt to give us the keys, and walk us through the apartment he thoroughly went over everything with my husband. The apartment was centrally and conveniently located to Piazza del popolo, and so many great restaurants and shopping!! Finding an elevator in an apartment in Rome is a rarity but critical to us with all our luggage. So that was a huge help!! We would certainly stay here again while visiting Rome!!
The property is in a great location - Piazza del Popolo, shopping, restaurants, within walking distance to many of the main attractions, and it's a safe area. There is a grocery market downstairs that is convenient. The apartment is on 1st floor which is easily accessible by stairs or the lift. Maurizio responded every time we sent a message, brief and to the point, but once we met him he was genuinely helpful. He arranged a car service to the airport, pointed out some local restaurants and local shopping suggestions, and explained in detail the home. The home was nice with updated appliances and fixtures. My only suggestion to Maurizio is to step up the cleaning of the home and add some detail items (towel hooks, shelving in shower, provide soap, luggage stands, etc). Make it easy for the guest to enjoy the rest of their stay.
My family and I stayed in Mauricioâs apartment as the last leg of our trip. Our other apartment experiences in Europe were wonderful with positive reviews from both parties, but I would stay away from this apartment. There were so many issues. The common room furniture was very dirty with stains on the chairs and a large rip in the couch. The toilets ran often keeping us awake at night and we had to adjust the in-wall float in the middle of the night. Although the manager did come to check it out, we still had this problem after he left. We could only get the air conditioners to blow warm air, maybe user error, but we ran the cold air fine during in our other rentals. We were only provided one set of keys and check in, so when we split up, some of us had to wait outside until the others showed up. The dresser is missing drawers. Only one of us could take a shower at a time since the hot water heater couldnât handle two. Although the manager did accommodate a slightly early arrival time, he was not able to do a walk through with us at check in. We were subsequently blamed for damage that we did not cause after we left.
Our host Maurizio was great. Arranged a driver for us from the airport and greeted us at the apartment. He went over all the details of the place (AC, lights, laundry etc). The apartment was well equipped with a full kitchen, living area, 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths. One room a huge closet while the other had an ensuite bathroom - Unfortunately, this room did not have room darkening drapes. The main bath had a tub with a 1/2 shower glass which was a bit tricky for showers as it was difficult to keep the water from getting on the bathroom floor. The location was excellent (Piazza del Popolo). Plenty of restaurants nearby as well as public transit. There's also a taxi stand beside the Piazza. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and would gladly stay in an apartment like this as opposed to a hotel.
Beautiful place, very comfortable for Four people. The place was very clean and in a ideal area for walking through Rome. Many restaurants near us and all the sites are walkable. The shop below is had the most delicious sandwiches. I highly recommend staying here
The location was perfect. Steps from wonderful shops and restaurants. Beautiful and great rooftop bar and restaurant just 1 block away (top of The First Roma Arte hotel). Ease to walk to Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and Pantheon. For further distances, taxi stand is less than a block away with taxis always waiting. Big apartment by European standards. Plenty of space. Maurizio was very helpful. Apartment kept very clean. However, there are a few scuff marks around, apparently from prior guests who were not careful with their luggage, that needed a bit of care from the owner.
