Maison privée avec vue sur Mission Bay et l'océan. Le pont arrière donne sur un parc, la baie / l'océan et Sea World. Asseyez-vous dans le bain à remous, tirez sur une piscine ou détendez-vous et faites griller. Deux chambres avec salle de bains avec lits king plus den avec cachette queen. San Diego getaway

Great location, easy to get to all activities, everything was within a 15-20 minute drive. The house was setup great from check in to check out, the property is well thought out, and attention to details of all things guests would ever need. It was an awesome experience, it was like home away from home.

Like a Private Resort!!

When choosing where to stay for our honeymoon, this place immediately caught our eyes, from the view of San Diego to all of the things to do just on the property! A big plus too is this property being very central to all of the great things to see and do in this beautiful city. The host was most informative and friendly which also added to the experience. Wonderful Vacation in a Magnifcent Home with a Spectaular View!

We highly recommend this property. It is beautiful, comfortable and elegant, with everything we needed to thoroughly enjoy our stay. Lynn and Dan are gracious, accommodating hosts who made us feel most welcome, helped answer our questions and suggested places to eat and things to see and do in the area. We felt at home as soon as we walked through the front door. What a beautiful location! The deck (with a hot tub, grill and bar) was the perfect place to watch the spectacular sunset each night and enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning. Their home is conveniently located, in a nice quiet neighborhood (with nice neighbors!), overlooking a canyon and Mission Bay. We look forward to our next visit to San Diego and hope to be able to enjoy their home again.

What an amazing house

Let me start off by saying the pictures do not do this house justice. Beautiful furnishings, gorgeous backyard and view. Spacious home with plenty of space. We had 5 in our party, two shared two beds and the 5th stayed in the den on the pullout couch. The mattress on that was very comfortable and not your standard pull out couch mattress. The pool/hot tub were a wonderful way to end each day. Communication with Lynn before booking, before traveling and after were all excellent. Quick to respond and lots of information given to add to our stay. We would definitely stay here again and give it a 5 out of 5 star rating.

Annual Month of July San Diego Get-A-Way.

We could not have been happier with this house or it's owners. We spend the month of July in San Diego each year to visit family and to escape the summer Texas heat and humidity. Of all of the 7 places we're rented, this house was far and above all the others--no question. You can tell the minute you step through the door that Lynn and Dan love their house and their wonderful taste is so evident. The side yard and back patio are wonderful places to visit with family or to just relax in the cool breezes. The kitchen is more than well equipped. This rental didn't feel like the usual rental, this truly felt like a home. Thank you Lynn and Dan.

Fantastic

We were a group of adults and teenagers looking for a place to stay in close proximity to Fiesta Island. The home was better than described. Extremely well appointed, with killer outdoor space to relax and enjoy a view of the ravine and ocean in the distance. Very private and felt like you were not 3 minutes from Starbucks, grocery and major driving arteries, which we were. The common area was spacious and beautiful finished with comfortable seating. The beds were as described and comfortable. I have stayed in many VRBO's, this was among the best and is what VRBO used to be, in my opinion: renting a home the owners otherwise live in. This means the place is more homey and has everything you need and beyond, including spices and condiments. It is not like a sterile hotel environment with every drawer and closet empty, although was more than enough space for our suitcases and things. All communication was promptly answered. I could tell there was maximum effort to make the space as uber welcoming beforehand. The owners went the extra while and it was very appreciated and made our stay better. I spent a lot of time deciding and investigating where our group would stay while in San Diego. I believe I achieved rockstar status in my group for finding the perfect place. You can't go wrong - pick this place.

Lots of Amenities in Great Neighborhood

We visited San Diego for our son's graduation from MCRD San Diego. The owners were super easy to communicate with. They informed us of a landscaping project that was underway and offered to cancel with a full refund if we wished. The landscaping project didn't interfere with our enjoyment at all, but I really appreciated the candid heads up from the owners. The house has everything you need to feel right at home. Great outdoor and indoor spaces, friendly neighbors, and close to all the activities and beaches San Diego has to offer. We would definitely book again. :)

Beautiful!

Stunning property with bay and ocean view! Property owners are wonderful and super responsive. Hot tub, pool table, and dart board kept the kids busy when I was exhausted from Legoland and SeaWorld, which both are a short drive. I am definitely going to try to book again.

Dream stay

My family and I (two kids under two and a small dog) stayed at Lynn's property for a couple weeks over Christmas and it was incredible. Lynn and her husband are incredible hosts, they checked in on a us a couple times via text and put up gates in their backyard to corral our kids before we arrived. We felt very welcomed. Their home is fantastic! It's gorgeous, great for hosting family and friends, and has spectacular views. We spent every night out on the deck watching the fireworks from Sea World. Their kitchen is huge and the bedrooms are luxurious and well-situated away from noise in the kitchen and living room. And did I mention the view? We'll definitely be staying here again! Best rental experience we've had.

Anniversary trip

We had a wonderful stay for our 10 yr wedding anniversary. The house and the views were amazing. We really enjoyed the outdoor space with the hot tub and the hummingbirds. Location is perfect. No more then 15 mins to the beaches, sea world, gaslamp district and padres. We loved that we were able to bring our fur babies. We hope to be able to visit again some day!

Best Vacation Experience

My family and I were visiting San Diego for our Son's wedding and we could not have dreamed of a better vacation rental. The owners were amazing, great location, floor plan and views were extraordinary, we hated to leave. A special treat was the hummingbirds visiting every day. Family memories at “hummingbird haven” Casa amigos views outstanding

We were more than pleased with the views when we walked into the house. It was absolutely stunning with plenty of room and easy access to anything and any places we wanted to visit. We enjoyed being able to spend time with our family out there. It was wonderful having plenty of places for everyone to sit and enjoy the spectacular views and fireworks every night from our patio watching over at Seaworld. Lynn was very accommodating and on top of any questions we had. They were so sweet as to even pick us some fresh fruit from their garden and leave it for us it was an exceptionally outstanding visit and we can’t wait to come back again!!!!

Awesome hosts and a great house!

We had a lot of fun at this home. We have stayed at many VRBO homes. This house and the hosts was by far our best experience. Home is better than the pictures indicate. Centrally located. Almost everything was just 10-15mins drive. Lynn was great and communication was excellent. Very generous in allowing usage of different things in the home.

If available - Book it!

Casa de Amigos was a fantastic property. Lynn and Dan provided wonderful accommodations with spectacular sunset views over Mission Bay (while sipping wine and relaxing in the hot tub). The location of the home couldn't have worked out any better. It was walking distance to Sprouts, Mission Bay and Tecolote Canyon and a short drive to downtown. We loved the fact that Lynn and Dan are dog lovers. The park just down below is an added bonus - great for dogs and kids. If this home is available - book it. You won't be disappointed!!

Superb Rental!

What a great place. As other reviews said, if anything it is better than described. The home is large and comfortable and communication with the hosts was excellent. We stayed here with our two young-adult children (sheltered in place for a week) and there was plenty to keep us entertained in the house, as well as trips to the beach. We used the two bedrooms and the fold-out bed in the den, and that worked well. The house has everything one needs - it's much better equipped than many rentals. We'd have no hesitations about staying there again - it's a great spot, with hosts who really pay attention to details.

We met in San Diego, but moved to Orange County for work, and lived there for 15 years. As soon as we had the right opportunity, we moved back. It took 8 months to find this property, and another 2 years to design and complete the remodel. It's been a labor of love and we're always making improvements. We are self-employed and work here, but can easily take work with us. We love to travel and visit friends and family.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We wanted to be near the water but not at the beach (away from traffic and crowds.) A view was one of our wishes, and when we saw this place, with a park below and unobstructible water views, we were hooked. The house was a cute 1300 sf bungalow, which we expanded and rebuilt. We love San Diego and this location is convenient to everything. It's a super friendly neighborhood.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

1/2 mile to Mission Bay where we can launch our boat, go for a run or bike ride. Just a bit farther is Fiesta Island, with more beaches, a private waterski cove, and off-leash dog friendly policy. There are so many things to do within minutes - museums, golfing, parks, hiking, restaurants, historical sites. This is our forever home, and we're happy you can enjoy it when we're away. You've probably never seen a vacation rental like this one! One of our guests dubbed it "The Hummingbird House," as we have several feeders and entertain many of the charming creatures. The kitchen is a chef's dream, with every appliance you could want, and spices/condiments to help make your meals delicious.
