Northleach is centrally located in the Cotswolds, giving visitors the chance to explore not only well known places such as Bourton-on-the-Water, the Slaughters, Stow-on-the-Wold, Burford and Bibury, but also being an easy day trip to the famous university city of Oxford, or Shakespeare's birthplace in Stratford-upon-Avon in Warwickshire, for example.
There are so many wonderful places to see within easy distances, yet Cranebrook Cottage also offers a relaxing home from home stay, with comfortable beds, a sitting room with a beautiful view towards the church and a pretty, private courtyard garden to enjoy on sunny days. Please be aware that access to the courtyard garden is via steps, either from the sides of the house or from the french doors in the sitting room. For those with mobility issues, the elderly or young children, we advise looking at the photographs of the steps into the garden to assess suitability.
With just a short stroll to the centre of Northleach for a coffee, glass of wine or a delicious meal, the cottage is ideal for both shorter or longer stays. Although the cottage is in the heart of Northleach, footpaths through open countryside are just a few minutes away, with lovely walks for dogs. Within Northleach park, less than a two minute stroll from the cottage, there is a children's play activity area, tennis courts, open parkland with a riverside walk and more footpaths leading through open countryside.
Less than a three night stay may be possible depending on other bookings. Please contact us to discuss further.
