The property managers/owners very accessible; communicative; and cordial.
The property is clean and beautiful with a lovely semi-private patio overlooking the sea.
We love this holiday home, which is quiet and has an excellent ocean view with great outdoor space. The host is very friendly , provides helpful information and recommendations about the area, which helped us prepare for our holiday.
However, some amenities listed for the property are inaccurate or missing, such as the microwave, electric kettle, oven, hot tub, barbecue grill, and spa tub.
Leo and Ida are perfect hosts. The location is quiet and in the middle of Amalfi and Positano. The place was spotless clean, newer style and just perfect for the two of us. Leo was a fantastic help throughout this entire experience and we cannot thank him enough. He went above and beyond any host we have ever had. From checking in on us, tips on transportation and overall communication he was there to help us along the way. Would stay here again. Greatful to have met them! Would recommend getting a car if you are staying here - otherwise it was beautiful
We loved everything about the place. It was spotless clean, quiet, cosy and the view is just wonderful. Ida and Leopoldo are very welcoming and so kind.
Leo and Ida are exceptional hosts! The views are out of this world. Immaculate and comfortable. Leo and Ida are knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Our 1st time visiting Italy, certainly wonât be our last. Unforgettable trip.
Leopoldo and Ida were very gracious hosts and helped us unload our car upon arrival. The rooms are very well appointed and completely renovated with very high quality materials throughout. The available laundry is convenient, but make sure you know how to use the machine and the detergent, as we managed to somehow discolor several items during our usage. Parking anywhere on the coast is a challenge, and this location is no exception. If at all possible, try to reserve the one available nearby space when you book your stay. Entrance and exit is through grapevine covered walking path and the location is secured via a gate and wide patio doors, with locking shutters if needed. Leopoldo and Ida even offered us fresh fruits and vegetables from their private gardens upon our departure.
Leo was so kind to us --the area was a bit remote for us and would have liked a place to walk to get coffee or snacks but the view was great and buses run right outside the unit so it is easy to go to other towns from this unit---Leo became our freind and hope to see him again one day but will stay in touch with him for sure

Absolutely gorgeous in every aspect!
Everything about our visit was 5-star! Leo and Ida were wonderful hosts. Communication were clear & prompt. Transportation was available by car from train station directly to the Calipso residence (Giuseppe, our driver was fantastic) at very reasonable price. The room was simply gorgeous and immaculately clean from top to bottom (we travel often and have never had a cleaner place to stay, ever). The view from the spacious outdoor patio was incredible and getting around by bus was cheap & easy. Unlike other places, our room was only a few short steps from the road. Our favorite part of the trip was getting to know our host, Leo. He was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and just good company. He told us bout growing up in Furore and some of the local history - great conversation. We hope we will see him again some day, and if we ever come back to the area, this is the place weâll stay.

Leopold & Ida we're gracious hosts. We had a wonderful time! We got to do most of the things we had planned! A few tips: the bus runs about once every hour but the bus stop is literally a few feet away from the apartment. Ask or look up the schedule before you plan your day.
I was born in Furore in this beautiful and historic manor house, then inherited about thirty years ago by my adoptive uncle. I care a lot to this house that preserves in itself the whole history of my family and my origins, the traditions of this country, a little paradise suspended between sea and hill, where colors and perfumes merge. In my youth I lived some years in New York, and now I live and work between Rome and Furore. I renovated the residence to use 3 apartments for a holiday home. I manage the Calipso Residence with my wife Ida who takes care of every details to ensure our guests the best possible comfort. It will be a pleasure to have you as our guests!
