Superbe Golfe beauté avant! Sortez par la porte arrière et vous êtes sur la plage! Cette chambre quatre trois et ½ salles de bain maison est le refuge parfait pour des vacances reposantes à la plage. Le grand salon dispose d'une télévision à écran plat, une cheminée, des sièges confortables, un espace bureau et une vue panoramique sur la plage et les eaux bleues scintillantes du Golfe. Vous pourrez dîner dans la salle à manger ouverte avec des sièges pour huit ou dîner el fresco sur la véranda donnant sur le golfe. Créer un fabuleux repas dans la grande cuisine ouverte avec des appareils mis à jour, les compteurs de surface dure et dosseret de carreaux. Détendez-vous dans le premier étage suite parentale avec lit king size, TV à écran plat et un privé projeté dans le patio donnant sur le golfe. La belle salle de bains maître a deux lavabos et une douche en verre carrelée. Votre invité et la famille seront plus à l'aise dans la première chambre à coucher étage d'invité avec une pièce attenante de poudre, un lit queen, télévision à écran plat et de la plage de détente et vue sur le Golfe. La deuxième chambre d'hôtes dispose de deux lits jumeaux, d'une télévision à écran plat et d'une vue tropicale. Partager la salle de bains principale ou d'utiliser la salle de bains de salle avec douche à l'italienne. La deuxième suite parentale à l'étage a des vues plus étonnantes de la plage et le golfe du Mexique, un lit king size et télévision à écran plat. La grande salle de bains principale dispose d'une promenade dans le placard, la combinaison de baignoire et douche et beaucoup d'espace de comptoir. Détendez vos jours loin dans la grande piscine privée chauffée. Passez vos nuits à regarder les étoiles de la baignoire à remous. We love this location, Captiva has the best beaches!! Our only grumble is that the beds aren't very comfy, but nothing is ever as good as your own bed!

The location to the beach couldn’t be beat! It was Fabulous to walk out the door to the beach. The house was very nice but could use a few updates. Definitely a new mattress in the master bedroom and patio table & chairs in the pool area. The air was out when we got there but the service had it fixed within 2 hours. The pool was wonderful and we enjoyed it everyday.

Great Stay

This is the 4th time I have stayed in the house. Wonderful memories. Management quick to respond to minor issues with a ceiling fan and pool after a rain storm.

Wonderful home right on the beach. Comfortable beds, stocked kitchen, plenty of outside seating. Only negative is could use a couple of umbrellas on the pool deck for shade. Would definitely go back

Serene beach

We loved the house and open spaces. Screened in porch was a life saver for the no see ums. Enjoyed the pool but did discover on our last day that the pool pump had been out for awhile. We might have used it less if we would have known about the issue. The private beach was a blessing.

Great Week on Captiva

We weren't sure how this property would be after the hurricane, but we were pleasantly surprised. The house was perfect for our family's needs. The house was immaculate, everything in working order and all around great. The pool is very nice with screening to keep out pests. The hot tub was excellent, even though we did not use it. Beach access was great and peaceful. We saw dolphins and even manatees, and a loggerhead laid its eggs one night on our beach. We were so impressed we've already reserved our week for next summer! Kingfisher was very responsive to issues we had with the cable TV's and for other tiny issues. All in all, a fabulous experience.

Captivating Captiva

Traveling with family from age 5 to 75 can be difficult, but the Winshall house provided something for everyone - great views, private beach access, relaxing pool, beautiful surrounding. We appreciated all the plastic dish ware and beach/pool toys for the kids and the screened in porch for morning coffee. A few upgrades are probably in order - the dishwasher’s abilities to clean were questionable and some of the screened in doors were rusting and difficult to open/shut - but with everything else the house provided, not a big deal, just typical maintenance issues. Thank you for a wonderful stay! Would definitely recommend and visit again.

Beautiful private home and beach

The home was beautiful and clean. The layout of the residence was perfect for our group-upstairs bedroom grandparents, two bedroom suite/bath for parents and children and a fourth bedroom with bath for uncle. The landscaping around the home is magnificent and the beach right out the front is gorgeous. We all spent lots of time on the beach using chairs, boogie boards, umbrellas and (LOTS of)beach toys that were provided. The grandchildren also loved the swimming pool-an added activity. The privacy of the estate was an added benefit. It’s close to Captiva restaurants and ice cream!

Lovely vacation home

We stayed at Winshall House in late Aug. The home is older; however nicely maintained. The location was 5 stars .. right on the beach. We barely saw another person the whole week ! The pool was beautiful and the lanai just adds to the amount of time you can swim . Such a relaxing environment. I would definitely recommend this vacation rental !!!

Beautiful Beach House!

Absolutely loved our stay at the Winchall Home! The perfect location, right on the beach, yet minutes to town by car. Home is lovely, beachy and comfortable. Everything we needed was there, with extras. Kitchen was well equipped and plenty of beach and pool toys. We rented bikes, kayaks and a paddle board and we’re able to use them everyday. Management was great, checked in with us and responded to questions promptly. The photos of the home really don’t do it justice, it was much prettier than I expected and the views were amazing. Sunsets and the sea right from the couch, bedroom and screen porches. Absolutely loved this home!

Great tropical getaway on quiet beach

House and pool were great. Tropical plants/trees create a very private atmosphere. This is a perfect place to just sit and relax for a while.

A wonderful week in a wonderful house

Great location. Essentially had the beach to ourselves everyday for our June stay.

Welcoming beach decor. Well appointed regarding kitchen, linens, towels-basics. Pool was enjoyed daily. Management very responsive when one of the ac units went down -had technicians out within a few hours fixing the problem.

Super Vacation House for Families :)

The Winshall Home was a super vacation home. We came all the way from Basel, Switzerland and we were not disappointed. We and our friends and our children really enjoyed the solitude and the beaches that Captiva and Sanibel have to offer. The Winshall house was perfect.. the pool was a great hit after staying on the beach and then the hot tube to finish the evening. We also had some ant issues, but was cleaned up the next day and our air conditioner had a problem but this was also cleared up immediately. One suggestion would be to have a working portable music player that one could connect to an iPhone device to play music at the pool. The music box that was in the house was broken. We look forward to coming back and renting this house again. Thanks for the nice time!!!

Beautiful home!

We had a great time for sure! The home was beautiful but the sugar ants were pretty bad upon arrival and we fought them through out the week. But wasn't a HUGE Deal. We couldn't really enjoy the beach because we were eaten up by Kinard, bugs, noseeums are pretty bad there so we were miserable for rest of week after 30-50 bites. I wish it had more beach front instead of being in the forest. I know after talking to others vegetation and cutting of trees isn't what they do. The sanibel captiva area is pretty and neat to see. It just isn't for us, I was really disappointed considering this was our yearly vacation and we didn't really enjoy ourselves like years past. We spend a lot of time on the beach and this year we just couldn't. But had a lot of indoor family time!

Thank you for the review and I'm sorry you didn't feel as though Captiva was a great fit for you. However, if you do appreciate Captiva this is the quintessential beach home! There are a number of photos that show the waist high sea grapes and dune grass between the home and the water, very standard on Captiva as we can't, nor want, to destroy native vegetation(not a view blocking forest that could be envisioned:)). We will address any sugar ants and please know that we respond rapidly to any calls for needs during your stay. Thanks again and I hope you have wonderful future vacations!

A Perfect Home for a Wonderful Family Vacation!!!!

The lovely Winshall Home couldn't have been more perfect for us!!! We celebrated an 80th Birthday here with our family....5 adults, 3 children. It's a beautiful and comfortable home on Captiva Island.......right on the gulf. We walked on the wonderful sandy beach, collecting many shells; played in the ocean, riding waves; ate lunch on the porch; swam and swam in the pool; walked again on the beach watching beautiful sunsets. The kitchen is well equipped, furniture in house and on porch and in pool ample and very comfortable; laundry room a handy convenience; bedrooms and baths comfortable and very nice in size; etc., etc., We have beautiful memories of our time there!!!! Wonderful home!!!!!
